Toyota do not RECOMMEND using engine oils for petrol and Diesel engines, like favoil, for there engines , rather they recommend oils for petrol engines ONLY

Common sense will tell you that car manufacturers test their engines under every condition imaginable from super cold temperatures to ultra hot temperatures because they expect their cars to be driven everywhere on earth. After extensive test, they recommend suitable oils..

Morons like Sooperrescue think they know better and will start experimenting with people’s engines and knocking them in a bid to make money. That is the reason why cars are driven for 15 years in the USA and engines are sound. They come to nigeria and 1 year after, you start looking for tokunbo engine.:

Read ur manual and stick with manufacturer recommendation. No mechanic in nigeria knows more than Toyota or honda.:

Stop listening to rubbish advise from a small time quack mechanic.. I have been driving cars for 16-17 years now and I have never changed an engine.. simply because I found out about recommended engine oils on time..

Great specifications. It is very current. But testing the efficiency is what is needed. I did a review of Castrol extended performance 5w20 on a 2014 Hyundai sonata and to our surprise, the oil was low. just four months of usage. It's not that it's fake but it's not proper for the oil to be used on the car because when Porsche and Range Rover recommends Castrol oil, Hyundai will never do the same. Every car has its own Oil requirements and we should follow the instructions or meet radautoworks for revival of your car

Royal purple is in the group 5 of the base oils used to produce it. Royal purple is my recommendation for cars that requires API SL . Mobil 1 is backward compatible and if it is losing oil on some cars, then there's need to focus on the specific oil for your car

I have called for the gallon pic. The importer imported large quantities with out understanding the dynamic of the oil specifications. All he imported was the API SL just like Motul energy is also API SL but according to the vehicle spec sheet, Motul API SL is recommended for range rover brand but I have not tried it on a range rover. Generally, Royal purple is higher than Castrol and Mobil 1 in oil ratings but the one available right now locally is the API SL variant which like I said, will suit Toyota cars that calls for 5w30 API SL

You are very correct. I will not do the same but what we are talking about is those cars that requires API SL. If API SP works best for Toyota that requires SL, good but if the engine of Toyotas is one of the best selling engines in the market, why not prevent it by using the right API rating. Toyota tiny light requires API SJ. If I use 5w30 SN, can it work perfectly on the car seeing that it is backward compatible? Or I can use an API SL rating on the car and it will work perfectly than using SN plus on an Apl SL required vehicle.

The jug mold and cap are different from where we have here. I couldn't put my finger on it and had to go look at the posted picture side by side with the ones here. It's really close but the jug is wrong if it's supposed to be US stock. What market did these come from? Take from that what you will.

My car is old ooo but i make use of mineral oil forte oil 20w..... The shocking part of my life is dat d engine sound keeps improving after 3yrs of continuous use bc my manual says so.

na only fuel economy you go loss , no mind poeple wey never do used oil analysis on 20w50 but dey condem am , what Nigeria company's should produce is 15w30, 15w35 , 15w40 ,15w50

check API SN 10w30 royal purple at jumia store , remember manufacturers say is better in warm climate , do u know why ? it has more base oil than 5w30
