Hi all,
A child born in the USA , has US passport, does not reside in the USA (but resides in Nigeria), has Nigerian passport as well, will the child be termed as a permananet resident of USA ?
Asking because I saw this question
Is your family member a permanent resident of the United States who has an alien registeration card (Green Card) or other proof of permanent residence?
In this situation will it be YES or NO?
Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the response is No.

I think, a child with a US passport is a citizen not a permanent resident. There should be another question about the child's nationalities where you will indicate the 2 nationalities and passport numbers.

Going by the part in red, I would think this is referring to a non-citizen. One with a passport is a citizen and requires no green card.

Hello,
I am the principal applicant for Express Entry.
my international passport bears my maiden name, WES and IELTS also bear my maiden name.
But my bank account bears my martial surname.
I am worried about my martial surname on my bank account, because that’s the account I intend to use as POF. Hope it won't raise brows that the names are different? Is this issue worthy of being worried about or there are steps I need to take?
P.S: I have my marriage certificate and change of name details.

Hello everyone, I would like to ask a few questions from seniors who have passed this stage,

I am 27 years old, single with a masters degree and 3years work experience, my fiance is 30 with no degree but learnt a trade which is car wiring and has been doing this for over 5years with all other businesses, we are not married yet but we want to get married and apply for the Canada express entry, I want to know if our points will be good even though my partner does not have a university degree,

you honest opinion is required.

thanks

I presently work as a customer service officer, this falls under noc C which is not useful for express entry. Hence why i used the former work which starts in 2013 till 2016. And that's how it is on my profile. Question is won't this be a problem? Won't they ask me why I didn't include what i have been doing since 2016? Another question is can I still add it to my EE profile?

Please i need response for this

for now only the one you are claiming points with. After ITA there is a personal history section where you would state the NOC C one.

Please help
From what I know, what you add in your profile is if it's within NOC 0,A or B and you are getting references for them and also using it to claim work experience.
Any other job function goes to your personal history post ITA

read page 1 for more. With what you put there you wont qualify just yet. Need an extra degree, three years experience ( if you can learn french and do tef test you may not need 3 years experience)

Hello everyone,

I would like to know whether WES still evaluates ACCA B1-B3 as equivalent of additional university degree or not.

Thank you.

My honest opinion will be to get your PR or at least ITA first before marriage because with this details, your CRS score will be high.
However, when married they except your spouse to add about 20points writing IELTS and having a degree. He won't be using his work experience as it is not in Canada.

Just write your IELTS, do an ECA on your masters with WES and create an express entry profile.

You are good to go, girl. Apply alone. Do not involve your husband at this stage until you’ve SUBMITTED your PR application.
After submission, get married under the statute. Then you inform IRCC that your status has changed.

START NOW. You have got a very good chance.

Is there an address for the OINP office or should they just address it to Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program without the office address

Good evening, please I need an information. My birthday is approaching and am thinking of changing my profile to spouse unaccompanying. I will like to know if after I change to spouse unaccompanying the next draw comes down to a cut off value where I would have gotten ITA with spouse accompanying, can I change back to spouse accompanying after ITA?
Also, what are the requirements for spousal sponsorship for a permanent resident
