Based on the game plan Amaka was actually right to start Lindelof instead of Bailly.

Bailly's greatest advantage over the rest is his speed, which is important when we are dominant or when we are playing high line or mid block. This advantage is however negated when we play a low block like we did. In that situation concentration and reading the game becomes key, and in that regards Lindelof might be better than Bailly.

We should not even bid early, agree personal terms first and see what other teams are willing to bid. Then match the highest amount if it is less than 80M euros.

This Ole is really maddd if he actually has a solid plan for VDB.

Another problem for them is that they need to create space for other upcoming stars.

At this point plus with his performance so far this season, paying anything above £50m isn't advisable in my opinion....

Also, check Arteta at Arsenal and you see a coach who is hell bent on implementing his ideas and is going about it the right way. It was here we talked about how he went about neutralizing the threat of Chelsea whilst hitting them on the counter using balls over the top, that's a coach who knows the tactical side of the game.

My feelings

You this slow thing, you didn't see where I wrote that with the right additions? So far, Werner, Havertz and Ziyech (to a lesser extent) have all flopped or are struggling to adjust to the league. They have added little or nothing to the team.

The only additions that have thrived are Mendy and Chilwell...

Elsewhere, other key players last season are struggling to reproduce same form. If you can excuse Ole and blame the players when we are on a bad run of form, why can't you do same for Lampard? Or is it a case of different strokes for different folks?
