Sahara Repoerters was not responsible for exposing the error the NAF made, it was Tomasz - https://mobile.twitter.com/TomaszRolbiecki SR just tried to grab the glory as they constantly look for negative stories to publish and avoid positive news like the plague.

it was merely an error and some wrong photos were used,, not that the decimation of BH technicals and men didn't happen. The right pictures have now been posted, same result.

SR has continued a campaign to discredit the Government by only publishing bad news and not even correcting their reports when they have been exposed on numerous occasions just because their man, Sowore, didn't win in 2019 (as if). He called for a revolution, which is treasonable, and amongst the people who tried to hijack the EndSars protest for his selfish reasons. He was arrested and again and again kept breaching his bail conditions while his paper continued their agenda. Honesty and Truth are very far from SR.

I see you are saying Lekki Gate Crisis and not Lekki Massacre, which didn't happen. The only thing that the army denied was being there and nothing else.

You have TOTALLY EVADED the question l raised which was for you to substantiate evidence based. Your all encompassing proposition I reiterate verbatim, "number one enemy of Nigeria is already dragging NAF"

You did not say abuse of power, election fraud, corruption, insecurity, etc

How exactly is Sahara reporters the number one enemy of Nigeria. I ask once again.

Your view on peaceful legal protest are very retrogresive. You have not been able to consider the political issues with any depth that are at play here with Sowore but you quickly without thought cast aspersions that have zero substance.

You really want don't have any understanding hence the discourse is going over your head.

You don't question the abuse of the judicial process the disregard for rule of law the desecration of the high Court ⚖ that was invaded by the DSS, etc, etc.

But you have a lot to say about Sowore.

You take pride in having no knowledge and castigate those with knowledge. You are unable to understand and so you hide under aggressive posturing and baseless assumptions.

I don't want to call it ignorance as you will take offence.

And there lies the crux of the issue. So many here feel a compulsion to praise the NA for everything and anything, whereas a few others take the time to look at the overall scenario and question if much more cannot in fact be done more cheaply and better too so as to bring the war to a speedy conclusion.

Most here are the type to praise their governors for building a f***ing road. Others like Komekn demand more and are vilified for it. We love mediocrity a lot and differing opinions are looked upon as being hateful and bad belle. That's the tragedy of Nigeria.

You hit the proverbial nail on the head.

My former state Governor Ibori was discharged and acquitted of multiple charges of corruption in a Federal high Court in Asaba.

He was arraigned before a court in the UK of similar charges, he did not even contest but pleaded guilty. A wise move so that all his activities will not be made public in the presentation of evidence by the British police.

He returns to Nigeria as convicted criminal after completing jail time. What happens, he is not arrested and made to face multiple charges here.

No, not at all. But he is literally given a state welcome like a head of state and is welcomed by the highest level of the political elite in Nigeria.

He's still hero worshipped and has huge amounts of influence in Delta state.

We gladly enthrone mediocrity and worship corruption in Nigeria and attack those who stand for righteousness, probity and integrity.

Actually, it's not a mistake that the South East has the worst, most useless and greediest police force in Nigeria. That is very intentional.

Plus it has police and army checkpoints everywhere, almost as if we dey fight insurgency here. What are the checkpoints for when the men manning them are urgently needed to fight insurgency and banditry in the North East? What are the checkpoints for when the East is about the most peaceful region?

Of course you and I know the answer to those questions and more.

Understood. But i said the East is *about* the most peaceful region. Since robbery and kidnapping dey everywhere let the government just flood all regions with checkpoints, rather than mainly reserving that for the East.

I don't know how terrible the checkpoint situation is in SE but the South generally, has these ridiculous checkpoints that benefit only the theiving officers manning them.

There are not as much checkpoints in the North compare to the South which makes you chuckle at the irony.

And SE is the most peaceful geopolitical zone in Nigeria right now. It is not perfect, but the security situation over there is better than the other regions. However, it may not remain so for much longer, especially as the IPOB now have an armed branch.

These guys are the reason our military is stretched thin.

What business does the NA have fighting armed bandits and kidnappers? What business does the NA have facing and trying to diffuse protests?

Why is this idiot not in Borno or Yobe? Why is he not in the Timbuktu triangle? Make BH RPG reset him brain.

I swear, Buhari no try. A presidential order should be signed and 80% policemen should be sent to katsina, zamfara, Kano and Maiduguri. These guys are always in the news for the wrong reasons.

This Is How He Celebrated You. Please Rescue Him" - Man Begs Buhari As He Shares Photo Of Aid Worker Abducted By Boko Haram Making The 4+4 Re-election Sign

A Nigerian photographer and humanitarian, Mohammed Chiroma has begged President Buhari to rescue Abubakar Garba Idris, an employee of United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists along Maiduguri/Damaturu road in Borno on January 2, 2021, IgbereTV reports.

Taking to Twitter, Chiroma shared a photo of a happy Idris, fondly called Aloma, making the Buhari's 4+4 re-election sign during Buhari's visit to Maiduguri.

Sharing the photo, Chiroma wrote;

"Dear @MBuhari, this is how Aloma celebrated you when you visited maid. Currently Aloma is the hands of BH, they kidnapped him along Maid-Damaturu road. Please help and rescue this young man."
