So The Governor Should Obtain A Court Order Before Evicting Strangers Illegally Occupying His Forest Reserve? Though I Never Took The Eviction Notice Issued To Fulanis By Both The Governor And Sunday Igboho Serious Because I No Its Just The Usual Afonja Loud Mouth, but Trying To Shift Blames Shows How Treacherious And Evil You Lots Are,be A Man And Face Your Problems And Stop Looking For People To Blame, nobody Is Inciting You To Cause Havoc In Your Region, you Either Confront The Herders Or Keep Accomodating Them The Choice Is All Yours, other Region Also Got Their Own Issues To Solve.

So, I have been the reading the back and forth argument amongst Ondo state govt, FG, Yorubas and some groups from Northern Nigeria.

Me wondering why Aketi, a SAN can't approach a court of law to obtain court order in order to evict the Fulani herdsmen who have decided to make Ondo forest their home even when they are not wild animals.

The Fulani herdsmen should also approach court and fight their case. Sebi Ondo forest na their ancestral land.... undecided undecided

Enough of social media argument...

Btw, we learned some things aftermath acclaimed Lekki Massacre even though some of us saw the clearly written handiwork of some people before hand same as this current Ondo situation...

@op pls, a bit respect for the office of governor.
You should have title your article: Akeredolu acting like judiciary although He is the chief Executive.
Why?
There is regional law enacted for this issue,
Why not implement it instead of quit notice?

You're either fulani or their sympathizer who feels it's right to move and occupy people property without recourse to the rightful owner. Why does only fulani thinks they are more important and special than the rest of us?? Challenging a gov whose obligations is to protect lives and properties of his people. No constitution forbade executive order of any state.

Fulanis are looking for trouble, a trouble which will consume them in the west. We won't tolerate their atrocities at all and if they think they have monopoly of violence we're awaiting them. How many southerners move and occupy land in the north without the knowledge of anybody??

What is wrong with you? You want AKETI to get DEMENTED ORDERS? THE CJN IS HAVING DEMENTIA AND MR. PRESIDENT IS HAVING DEMENTIA.

That guy is a Fulani masquerading as Yoruba!

It is very obvious.

And he's so daft that you can't hold a meaningful argument with him.

Regional law still won't be like judicial order..

That means executive, regional and judicial order....

They should also buy airtime at major TV stations across Nigeria and air the court proceedings live... Let's see if the judges would disgrace themselves..

After then, no need of any eviction, na to just dismantle their shanties and sack them from the Forest...

Diplomatic way is the best for this situation

What if the fulani appeal the court order? Or is court not subject to appeal? In Nigeria it might take good 6 yrs to get your court order sef.

If Court can't settle the case amicably without both party lifting fingers then you people should consider the lives of the people that might be affected.

Usa would have been in turmoil if not for the intervention of judges for so many cases submitted by Trump.

Let's all be an advocate of peace not pieces...

you sound more stupid bro. Election was carried out in America, trump had a problem with the result so he went to court.
Now a sitting governor has issued an order for the herdsmen to leave ondo forest, now if the herdsmen have a problem with that then they should go to court and prove why the governor's order is wrong.
Did they pay to settle down there? Are they on a lease agreement with the landowners?

You are indeed a tailor. What legal documents that warrants Fulani herdsmen to occupy land or forest in Ondo State as a home? Any tenant must sign a document to occupy a room or space. The governor does not need court to evict illegal squatters in Ondo State. The herdsmen should vacate the lands in Ondo State in the same manner they occupy the land illegally. There is nothing legal about this situation. The governor acted nicely to have given them warning and time to vamoose.
