So, I have been the reading the back and forth argument amongst Ondo state govt, FG, Yorubas and some groups from Northern Nigeria.

Me wondering why Aketi, a SAN can't approach a court of law to obtain court order in order to evict the Fulani herdsmen who have decided to make Ondo forest their home even when they are not wild animals.

The Fulani herdsmen should also approach court and fight their case. Sebi Ondo forest na their ancestral land.... undecided undecided

Enough of social media argument...

Btw, we learned some things aftermath acclaimed Lekki Massacre even though some of us saw the clearly written handiwork of some people before hand same as this current Ondo situation...

Did buhari went to court to get court order for nigerians to use face mask?
Is covid not killing nigerians?
There are laws already on ground, that law is binding on all people who do business in the states u find urself.
Just like the law in kano that forbids people from selling alcohol, u cant be in ondo and be kidnapping people. If u want to make it lefit, approach the state govt, register ur franchise as a kidnapper, if it suits them they will give u nod.
Fulani herdsmen r criminals, they r evil, they r treat to the unity of this country.

If Court can't settle the case amicably without both party lifting fingers then you people should consider the lives of the people that might be affected.

Usa would have been in turmoil if not for the intervention of judges for so many cases submitted by Trump.

Let's all be an advocate of peace not pieces...

They r people that needs to be tamed, kill if need be so the county can enjoy peace.
Peace doesnt come from deliberations or court sittings alone.
Wars lead to peace, violence sometimes leads to peace, revolution too lead to peace.
Once again the fulani doesnt understand the word peace, they speak kill, destroy and violence. Greater and double violence will always subdue a a lesser violence. Do u know why east germany collapsed?
Because many nations join forces and attack it.

Professor of law, we are not in Banana Republic, it is after you get court order you can deal with them ruthlessly cos they must have been served.

@op pls, a bit respect for the office of governor.
You should have title your article: Akeredolu acting like judiciary although He is the chief Executive.
Why?
There is regional law enacted for this issue,
Why not implement it instead of quit notice?
Does the constitution recognise this regional laws?

The gov himself is law. That is why he can't be sued in any court of law within the nation until his tenure ends.

Stop it! At this juncture, I am beginning to doubt you are Yoruba, probably one of those naturalised Fulanis since 19th century or a Northern Fulani disguising as a Yoruba here.

Guy, you are always falling hand. Something really 'off' about you. Akeredolu is first and foremost the Chief executive officer of Ondo State today so I don't know what angle you are working by distractingly pointing to his law background which is irrelevant in this stalemate.

Akeredolu's argument is a meritorious one that any Governor of SW State can proffer regardless of their professional background because issues here does not require specialist knowledge of the law.

This is simply about the need for a Governor to act legally in protecting his State in very dangerous times.

If you have followed events closely, as a fair person, you will note that Akeredolu has made it clear there is no problem with registered and validated Fulani herdsmen going about their business in Ondo State.

He is asking Fulanis herdsmen who are unregistered and unknown, thereby operating illegally, to obtain legally registered status or leave.

It is a simple enough and legally-sound demand for everyone but recalcitrant Fulani expansionist usurpers or saboteur Yorubas who want to sell us out. Frankly you speak like you belong in the latter group.

You should "think beyond your nose" and see the point being made about unregistered non-Nigerian Fulanis (from Chad, Niger Republic, Mali, Guinea, Cameroon etal) hiding under the Fulani banner to make a legitimate claim to living in Nigeria as stakeholders when they have no entitlement to such.

All this merely because a politically powerful individual or group in power may be encouraging Fulanis all over Africa to now see Nigeria as their own 'god-given' land they can congregate upon and do as they please in. Guy wake up and get sense.
