Anyways I pray all those trying to Migrate from one place to another finds favour in all our applications.

Before I left naija, I vowed to myself that I wont be one of those "aunty wey mumu" that you would ask how she migrated and she would tell you ....."it was just prayer and grace of God, I dint even know what happened".....mtchewwwww.

I told myself that I may not have cash to distribute but along my journey I found out that knowledge is power and indeed many Nigerians perish for lack of knowledge.

I also said I wont be one of those people telling you that abroad na just suffer. Yes you would work hard and frankly you would be payed as hard as you work. What you safe from that depends on your responsibilities back home and your life style.

All those aunties and uncles shouting that USA or Canada or even the UK is hard, have you ever seen them return back home to save their self the so called hardship?

People that return back to Nigeria either have "surname", have made it big and want to invest in a business or the country dey pursue them.

So my people dont be discouraged. Speaking for Canada, it's better to work here as a health care aide or even janitor than to be in that catholic hospital or federal hospital self in naija. That's as far as income is concerned.
E for Energy!!!

Our experienced nurses in the house, I have a question. Sorry if it sounds dumb grin . I already have my ATT, still trying to decide which country to travel to, to write it. Since Biden lifted the ban, I'm thinking of getting a US tourist visa, get in , write my nclex and job hunt. My question is, how easy is it getting an employer directly without using all those recruitment agencies?

You have to use agent. They are the only ones who can file your immigration petition.
I heard only SA centre is opened for nclex testing.
I see. Thanks for the response kiss

Good morning house. Pls has anyone got his/her license verified in recent time and how long does it take? All contacts at the NMC House Abuja are not willing to assist. Pls I seriously need the license to get verified and have my Letter of good standing sent to the UK ASAP. I will greatly appreciate any assistance from the good people in the house. Thanks in anticipation.

Has anyone evaluated Cambridge Alevel instead of WAEC?
I included my cambridge A level in my application but I want my WAEC to be evaluated instead of A levels.
I've sent cgfns a mail but I've not gotten a reply.
What can I do?

Your research is mostly correct. There is no way to get your license recognized without NNAS. The only thing you can do is retake your bachelors degree. There are after degree nursing programs that you would qualify for and they are 2yeard long. It is just a compressed 4yr curriculum so its like nursing from scratch.

Hi
I’m a graduate registered nurse in Nigeria and I wish to practise in Canada. I’ve read most of the post here and the advise was to apply for compressed BSN which would make it easy for me to write NCLEX-RN. My questions are; would I make it known that I’ve BNS in Nigeria when applying. Is it BNS I’d apply for or Masters to enter Canda? If BNS , would it be advisable to apply for BNS straight from Here or go for like public health then change course when one gets there? Thank you!

I'd advice you to apply for something that shows a logical progression and relevance to your job or prior education first. This is just to acquire the study visa. Hopefully you are granted, then you can switch courses or even school after entering Canada to the after degree nursing programs.

Good day everyone and a huge appreciation to all those that answer questions on this platform,

I have been trying to check the requirements for the application of the compressed BSN programs but it seems those with previous nursing degrees are exempted from offering it. A number of schools I have checked/contacted so far either exempted those with nursing degrees on their websites or told me the program is not for internationally educated nurses. So please, does anyone know any internationally educated nurse(s) that took this route or any school(s) that offer accelerated BSN inclusive of applicants with previous degrees in nursing. @vickyehi do you personally know anyone with a nursing degree that succeeded through this route? I appreciate your responses.

.

What does this mean ? From my NMC-UK portal

This qualification is not registered. You are therefore not able to practise in the UK at this time

To open your NMC online account, go to the NMC website and follow the instructions for overseas registration. Its just like creating any social media account. You need it to monitor your progress [/quote]

Please, after creating an online account on the NMC-UK portal and paying the £140, what else should I do?
Thanks
