Let Didier Drogba or Mikel Obi be given a chance to try their luck too.

Chelsea FC: "Hiring and firing of coaches at the slightest whim is our motto".

If Frank Lampard was an Arsenal coach, he would still be on the saddle at the moment.

You can see Mikel Arteta catching cruise with Arsenal FC despite their abysmal position on the league table.

I hope u have learnt a lot from ur short time at Chelsea. World class coaches don't spend millions on players to come put them on d bench or play Dem out if position. Lampard was signing players without even knowing were they'll fit into in his team. Always playing d same 433 formation regardless if the team. He is thankful cos he has been given a fat pay check for achieving nothing.

*of the team

The sack came a bit later than expected

He didn’t have the capacity and expertise required of a club in Chelsea’s position considering the investment made for the season.

So many things were deteriorating with no signs of improvement.Infact Chelsea became like Nigeria especially under the current administration.

I’m happy there was room for a sack unlike what is happening in Nigeria.

Farewell to him,he can take his plans and coaching experiments somewhere else.

Meanwhile he can go along with Mason Mount.

Mount has been the only consistent player in that team. He worked really hard when he played.

Lampard isn't the problem of Chelsea..

First 5 years of Ferguson in Manu, I heard him no wan anything..

Chelsea as a team hasn't come back to its feet yet, fully since that ban happened !
The question is; did he have the right players? Besides Chilwell (who is overrated and a slightly upgraded version of Emerson), Chelsea has quality players who are capable of making their opponents tremble, but that was not the case under Lampard. Minimal creativity, no fluidity in their playing, just back passes, defenders are not confident of those attacking because there's no confidence in the team.

Look at the likes of Liverpool, Klopp brought in most of them as average players and groomed them into men. Now they're a force to reckon with, not minding their recent poor form. Imagine a coach like Klopp or Guardiola in a team like Chelsea, then you'll know that Lampard was the problem after all. I feel for him, but he's not yet fit to manage a club like Chelsea.

Lmao! Peter Drury is to me, the best football commentator. He makes the game so lively that I get slightly discouraged when he doesn't feature in big games. His partnership with Jim Beglin makes it even more delightful.

You are absolutely right. He was now understands "Karma" better. Such a rebellious fellow in his playing days.

Chelsea have appointed 15 managers since I started watching football. That's crazy

Before you end your watching career when you kissed the earth Chelsea would have employed 1015 managers.

leave the guy now, someone gave someone to spend 250 million pounds on debt signings. they are in a position worse than last season when they had a transfer ban and was only using youth and you dont expect him to question the manager

time Warner, havertz, pullisic, mount they only look average because they were averrgely been used. they are no different from firmimio, wiljadum or maddison or any average player you see in top teams

I'm not a Chelsea fan but those names I mentioned above are very very good players

Ziyech

Silva
Kovacic
Pulisic
Werner
Havertz (I'm sure you've not seen this guy at his best)
Mount (Very few people see this, but this guy is a top player. His beastly side is yet to be revealed).

You asked for 3 and I gave you 8.

The club should have given him more time. The gap between the first position and the ninth was just 11 points. Anything could have happened.

Same thing I told someone yesterday and to think they still have like 16 more games remaining.

It was Tammy Abraham that sacked him, Tammy and Wener!

But he is still Chelsea's finest. Chelsea FC owe Frank Lampard forever.

He was used by Chelsea. Brought in during the transfer ban to manage small boys. Then discarded after the ban was lifted and big players were bought

You made good points until the last mention.
He (Mason) is a disciplined player and shows full commitment in the club, though he has been more favored than other players, if you were in Lampard shoes, you will most likely do same.
Nigerian mentality is what will make you see someone doing the right thing being replaced by someone you aren't sure would do the right thing.
