Just like how nowhere in Kenya could match up to East Legon, That's the same way nowhere in Kenya will be as good as weija, Bortianor and Broadcasting. As soon as we finish redoing the streets in this neighbourhood.

Eastern Nigeria states.
Nigeria development spreads across all states in the country and not only around the main states , Kenyans should learn this.
Ebonyi state ( one of the smallest state in Nigeria)
This tiny state is building more infrastructures than the whole of east African nations combined, the state is about completing its 5th flyover bridges as we speak, Ebonyi state is building the largest Airport terminal in Nigeria( to be completed in 2022 ...), new world class stadium, one of the largest malls in Africa is currently been built there. #KenyansmustLearn

How did you go to your research center in lake Victoria? By bus, train or plane?
How long did you stay and do your research?

We landed in Dar es Salaam by plane. And spent 2 night in Dar es Salaam. It was my first time in Tanzania so I did not actually know anybody or any place we had a guide his name was Wilmot Banda. We traveled from Dar es Salaam to Lake Victoria by road in a car, I spent only one week athlete Victoria after we travel by Road Again by car to Lake Malawi I was studying African mud fish and see if it is possible to introduce them into Southern Africa. In Lake Malawi I spent one week there. after my research I went all the way back to Dar es Salaam and caught a flight back. To South Africa with about 300 young African mudfish. About 150 of them died on the plane and the rest where we try to introduce them into South Africa they could not survive the winter

Latest FDI figures in Africa
The United Nations Trade Association revealed that Egypt led the pace in the Foreign Direct Investment ahead of Nigeria and South Africa, as its recorded a total of $2.6 billion in FDI in 2020.

Brandnewsday understands that the UNTA report has shown that Egypt's $2.6 billion in Direct Investment in 2020, is lower compared to the $3.3 billion posted in 2019.

In a similar note, Africa’s most industrialised nation, South Africa recorded a $2.5 billion in the year 2020, slightly below Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy, and 50 percent below the $4.6 billion reported in 2019.

The report also revealed that Africa recorded a total of $38 billion FDI in 2020, representing an 18% percent decline from the $46 billion reported in the corresponding year of 2019.

Meanwhile, in 2020, Egypt led Nigeria and South Africa with $5.5 billion in Foreign Direct Investment, thus, an increase of the estimated 38% as against the previous year.

Foreign Direct Investment

According to the report, “FDI flows to Africa declined by 18% to an estimated $38 billion, from $46 billion in 2019. Greenfield project announcements, an indication of future FDI trends, fell 63% to $28 billion, from $77 billion in 2019. The pandemic’s negative impact on FDI was amplified by low prices of and low demand for commodities.”

UNCTAD also disclosed that global foreign direct investment declined by 42 percent to an estimated $859 billion, shrinking from $1.5 trillion in 2019.

The report reads: “The decline was concentrated in developed countries, where FDI flows fell by 69 percent to an estimated $229 billion.

''Flows to Europe dried up completely to -4 billion (including large negative flows in several countries). A sharp decrease was also recorded in the United States (-49%) to $134 billion.

You're country of 200M people spread in land twice kenya. You should have 4 cities the size of Nairobi. You don't even have one - because Lagos is just a slumpolis...with 20m.

Kenya development is spread. Mombasa is for example better than Abuja. Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru are also cities now.

Ghana has about 7-8M household. Only 3-4M are metered or customers of your discos. That basically mean your policy think tanks are smoking whatever you're also smoking.

These things are easy - your population divided by household size - give your total houses or homes - and each ideally should have a meter - connected to the grid. That is universal access.

Obviously there are countries that uses all sort of methodology to define access. India for example - anybody 500m from electric grid has access. Maybe Ghana is using such dodgy methodology.

For you to hit 85% universal access - nearly every hut or slum or cave in Ghana - including deep rural - should be connected to the grid.

And of course it isn't. By the time you're hitting 95% (universal access) it would be nearly impossible to find anybody without any grid.

Kenya is already a degaded slum like Eastland

and can never afford to put up decent homes like you see in the pics I posted from an ordinary new Ghanaian neighbourhood.

Majority of Kenyans do not own their own homes hence they result to slumpolish like Eastland ugly apartments with no lifts

Yes definitely investing here. Centum if they go big here - can do another Tatu city - and focus on getting horizontal infrastructure. Centum got 10,000 acres of prime land next to the beach front.

Nairobi has a house for all income types - starting with 10 dollars in slum to 7,000 dollars in upper class. We don't have west africa kind of shortage.
When Ghanians and Nigerian come to Nairobi - they all live in Eastland - and 10 in a room - that rent for 100 dollars a month.
And they are so stupid they pay rent per annum.

Accra has a long way to go - until you get to Kenya - where everywhere there is a TO LET sign - and you can take walk in a few minutes - pay one month deposit - and come out - for whatever you can afford.

Nairobi has segregated or zones houses depending on income and types of finishing/housing.

If you want slum - it's there. Next is likes of Pipeline that rent for 30 dollars - 10 floor high rises of one room.

You go to Westlands - there are apartments that rent for 3,000 dollars a month.

If you land in JKIA - you can rent out a house the same day - in any part of Kenya.

The reason is obvious - we economize - we build highrises - vertical place - one plot in Accra can house you - one plot in Nairobi can house 100 people if not more.
