Good morning my fella, Please i need urgent answer to make a swift decision today. My mother-inlaw to be is about to gift my fiancee 100% POF. She's supposed to give her 4M naira but since my fiancee will be adding me post AOR, after marriage, is it advisable her mum give her 6M that will cover for 2 applicants so i wont need to add more money to increase the POF after my addition post AOR? Won't it raise an eyeball by putting 6M instead of the 4M needed for 1 applicant ? Note: She's the primary applicant and she's applying as single. She's the only 1 in the application for now. |

Good morning Fam. Please I have some questions regarding NOCs. Does one have to meet the requirement for education for the chosen NOC? For example, my friend's JD includes: 1.collecting and analyzing financial report 2. Ensuring the integrity of departmental expenses 3. Interpreting financial reports 4. Treating of vouchers 5. Coordination of presentation of the budget for the year The issue is the fact that this NOC requires completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or Courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk which she doesn't have as she studied economics in Uni and currently works as a Budget Officer. Or should she choose 1114 for financial officers? She's a bit confused as to which NOC best suits her JD Thank you for your anticipated kind advice |

This has been on my mind too. I’ve registered to learn french just in case the draws turn out like they did last year - increasing after the CEC & PNP draws - just to avoid stories that touch. My score’s 467 and my birthday’s in May and I’m dreading losing points with an already borderline score. I’d advise that those of us in this bucket should try to take steps to increase our chances instead of having to wait and hope that the scores will drop. oty1993: 3 Likes |

I applied since April 2019 and up till now I haven't received my PR. Numerous calls and emails and they keep saying it's due to COVID-19. Has anyone experienced something similar? Has anyone heard of an express entry application that took 21 months and counting? I've heard of 18 months but not 21 months! Last meaningful communication with them was when I was asked to provide additional information in October 2019. What's the suggested way forward please? Thank you. 1 Like |

freshdad here on Nairaland had an application that took almost 24 months. You can search his profile. Very frustrating I'm sure There's not much you can do except disturb them with webforms and emails. Have you redone medicals? swizzle: 1 Like |

I have a masters. I got LRWS 8.5,9,9,7. The best a rewrite can give me is additional 3 points to make 470. That’s a 7.5 in writing. I requested an EOR in writing but my score remained unchanged. However, I’ve thought of it this way - if I rewrite and get 470, and no FSW draw is done until after my birthday in May, the rewrite then becomes of no use as I’ll fall to about 465 in which case, I’ll then have to learn French. That’ll move my hope to get ITA from say May (if an FSW draw is done by then or by June/July (if I take the French test in June/July) to perhaps December. So, why don’t I just take that step now? icehot: 2 Likes |
