It's short sighted assumption like this that is the problem really.
We as humans are short-sighted, it's only later in the future that we get to understand the societal effects of some decisions. Some effects we are sure of now though are:
1) LGBT advocates 'self love' , a kind of believe that you have right to do with your body what you like. But this is not true, whatever decision you take rub off on others. When you smoke for example, the nicotine you release can cause others cancer.
2) it messes up with the fundamental natural love live and family. The children for example needs the balanced influence only a man (father) and the woman (wife) can give, not the one sided experience from two men. I for one believes our society is this degenerated because the idea of the family is being bastardized; we are having children that develop under the chaotic set up of single motherhood and gay parents. They don't get to develop completely by learning strength from the father and empathy from the mother. Hence we get heartless children, simps, substance abusers and emotionally imbalanced children.
3) serious diseases to come up from this lifestyle.
So you see, they trample on our constitutional rights and mess up with the health of the society.
God that sees everything and understand the cumulative effects of this type of lifestyle has adviced we fight it

We all trying to find solutions to these dilemma.
I studies microbiology and have knowledge of the working of DNA(genetics). Some gays behaviour are natural occurrence. lt's inbuilt while others are environmental(got initiated or grow without females around, low self esteem around females etc) but we can't differenciates who's behaviour is natural or environmental.

That's being said, homosexuality is not new to the world. Remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah? There are other sexual behaviours that has come and gone. African is new to monogamy. It's like a trend that will come and go.

One thing about change is you can resist it and not deny it.

Short sighted assumptions? I don't believe such. I didn't just wake up to say these set of humans should be given fair share.

1. Those points you listed have no direct effect on your constitution right.
Smoking is unhealthy as warned by experts but it's allowed for who thinks it's oga for him or her. Why not outlaw it? The smoke disturbing a second party is a different problem which has been solved( don't smoke in public).

We can well tell the LBGT to do their things in private just like others have sex in private.

2 . On family. Partially there is direct effect on the society but not your right. If a child is raised by gay and such child tend to misbehave just like we have banditry, sex workers, child traffickers, drug dealers, robbery, rape etc by children from polygamous/monogamous or Single parent. So, gay adopted children will not be different from what we have in the society.

3. On disease, every adult has the right to take precautions. HIV it not predominant among gays but the so called normal people.

I think it's high time we accepted these group of homosapiens. Religion apart, culture or not, every century has it's rules and this is what is staring at us. LGBT
