This days I look for people to debate with from the West but it seems they're all suffering from an unknown mental illness that makes them think and act all deranged. The few sane ones....I don't even think there's one IMO...still can't accept the fact that their countries are nothing but certified shitholes that even with decades of repair still can't match up to us. I know Kenya ain't heaven but with just a little repair and polishing up there'll be no difference of us with Singapore. Someone somewhere thinks his village being listed in WB and IMF rankings will make their sh1thole any better. Can you idiots please stop smoking crack it ain't good for your health. Not forgetting the ugliest and filthiest of them all.THE NIGERIANS. How can we be debating here with people who go to restaurants and order for human head or kidney. This motherfvckers must really think high of themselves. Fvckin bloodclat fools. 1 Like |

Find yourself credible data. One university in kenya can graduate that. Most kenya big universities have student population btw 80-100K Now divided that by 4 yrs - and you can tell one university like Kenyatta university graduates 20,000 annually. Anyway total enrollment in university of kenya is about 0.5m - divided by 4 - and you'll find out the enrollment rate. South Africa is going down. jln115: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Joburg - v- Nairobi - pretty close. Population is pretty close Nairobi should be about 4.5M versu Joburg 5M. Looking even at malls - 42 malls versus Nairobi probably around 35 now. I am not sure about hotels - 3,4,5 star rated hotel in Nairobi - about 40-50. JKIA is now 4th busiest airport in Africa (maybe 10-12M passengers before covid) after Joburg (20M), Cairo and Bole (Ethiopia). 3 Likes

Build more road using a budget smaller than Kenya - you got jokes. Nigeria revised budget was 24B dollars or less - against Kenya's 32B. Vlain: 3 Likes |

rvp20182: You don’t know what you’re talking about. Nigeria total budget would be around $56billion. Federal budget alone is $35billion. https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUKJ8N2D2012 And Kenya budget is not $32billion. It’s just $26billion https://www.treasury.go.ke/budget.html 2 Likes |

Only in Nigeria do you find your senate and federal gov engage in that kind of delusion Last year - they passed 35B budget - and later it was revised down to 29B - and I think eventually it was down to 24B. In fact I doubt that budget has any bearing on what really happen. Nigeria federal taxes are about 10-15B. The rest is unrealistic borrowing targets. Shaytun: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Lol..Kenya is a joke As of the end of June 2020, Kenya's total debt stock stood at 6.7 trillion Kenyan shillings ($62 billion), equivalent to about 66 per cent of our total national wealth, as estimated by the gross domestic product (GDP). https://www.internationalbudget.org/wp-content/uploads/state-of-public-debt-Kenya-october-2020.pdf 2 Likes |

That is not true. Without even factoring the 4 times the population and twice the land size - you cannot beat kenya - in many of those things - remove non-oil fdi - and you got nothing. Shaytun: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Focus on debt servicing ratio. Fake GDP doesn't repay debt. Gov revenues repay it Nigeria’s Total Debt Stock (Foreign & Domestic), as at June 2020 stood at N31.01 trillion ($85.9 billion) Now go back to your budget - less than Kenya. Check how much money do you have in your coffers to repay that debt - less than Kenya - sometimes 10-15B dollars. And you'll read such shocking stories - Nigeria debt servicing ratio is 99% https://nairametrics.com/2020/06/13/nigeria-records-debt-service-to-revenue-ratio-of-99-in-first-quarter-of-2020/ Shaytun: 4 Likes |

NIgeria the hell-hole - BANKRUPT. A cursory review of the data obtained from the MTEF/FSP report shows that in Q1 2020, Nigeria incurred a total sum of N943.12 billion in debt service while the federal government retained revenue was put at N950.56 billion. This implies Nigeria’s debt service to revenue is estimated to be 99% during the period. This is the highest on record and it suggests almost all the revenue generated from both oil and non-oil sources was used to meet debt service obligations. Meanwhile, debt-to-GDP is not regarded as the best indicator of debt sustainability, especially in a country where tax-to-GDP is low. For Nigeria, a better indicator of debt sustainability is the debt service-to-revenue ratio, which in Nigeria has in recent years risen to worrying levels, and now 99% as at Q1 2020 n 2019, former CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido, declared that Nigeria is “bankrupt and the country is heading to bankruptcy”. This statement credited to the former Emir of Kano State just after the African Development Bank (AfBD) revealed that Nigeria spends more than 50% of its revenue on debt servicing, and this is worrisome. |

rvp20182: You are obviously just pulling statement from your arse. Nobody revised anything ...the opposite was in fact the case. The house actually increased the budget by 500billion naira. “It is for a total sum of N13.568tn, an increase of about N500bn from the estimates submitted by the President to NASS” 2 Likes |

Find the supplementary budgets that Buhari did in 2020. Your broke country cannot have 30B budget when revenues are not even 15B. And already your debt servicing ratio is 100%. Shaytun: 3 Likes |
