Been a month now over here in Warri, and na no booklets story.. Even paid for the express of 34k... Planning on going to their support on twitter too cos I don't understand anymore.. If there have been no booklets in other states other than Lag, Abj, and PH, then why the heell are they still running and not close em down....??

Applied online around early November, went there late November for thumb printing and interview, they gave me the 'no paper' excuse for like two weeks and I later went to collect the passport like December 11 or so

If you really don't want to waste your time, just avoid Ibadan by all means. (For a fact, many August and September guys are yet to get theirs, you get the gist ? )

And a tip, simply avoid that immigration twitter handle, they'll never reply your serious enquiries , they only reply frivolous and trivial ones , check it out for yourself.

Okay i think we can try this for people complaining about the NIS Twitter handle, when you tweet at them tag servicom and ruggedybaba (i think he knows someone that works in Abuja) i have forgotten the guy handle he normally respond to issues on behalf of NIS

Their excuse is that there are no booklets available.
I tried to complain on their twitter account, but I was blocked and not attended to.
I went to their office several times but nothing happened.

Even if you see their PCO na story oh except God intervene and their twitter handle they know what they are doing, they won't respond to you except I've gotten my passport they would respond. Naija is casted. Avoid ibadan passport office oh please please anybody who needs their passport kíákíá. Some are still collecting in ibadan office but na strong connection from above oh

Bro ibadan office to see PCO na appointment from above and if you get to see him pray for grace and favour cause the way he would address you you won't even like it. Try your luck seeing him though. They would do everything possible to frustrate you. I wouldn't advise anybody to use ibadan office for passport oh.

I just left the Abeokuta Immigration office now. I was told there was no booklets even for parole. I was told to go to Lagos.
I wonder what they are doing in the building if they can't produce passports for citizens.
I think they are just hoarding the few left for VIPs.

Anything more than this belongs to the officer.
I tell people this, because of the massive corruption goin on in immigration office, stop waiting till u need the passport next week before coming here to complain and complain of not gettin booklet.

U are trying to break through a system which encourages corruption big time and as such it won’t be easy.

If u want to do ur passport, DIY method... and say u need it in 3 months or so, start now.. do not wait because u see this road cud get lonely, but in the end when u do all urself without enriching one cow and triumph and save ur money, you will understand how good all of this feels.
I encourage everyone to do as much as u can and read as much as u can on this thread. Barely few pages and some of us dnt want to read. DIY works in every state, I noticed it’s more in the southern states our ppl treat us this way... has anyone from the North come to complain of how no booklet or how he cudnt get thru the process?

No. Sorry to say, but this is the way it works in Nigeria and unfortunately in only part of our dear country. Stop complaining and pick urself up.

A lot of ppl have gone through ur path and dropped their experiences, u might learn one or two tricks in dealing/escaping the thieves.

so what's up now, I will be using the Ibadan immigration office by at least months end... but the news so far from there is very discouraging, its not like I need the passport urgently(I just wan do am for ground) but I don't want my ₦17,800 to hang there...

Google guarantor’s form nigerian immigration portal.. it shud come up where u fill in ur app and reference id and then the form opens up

It's been close to a month I captured at NIS office at Ikeja Alausa, till this very day I haven't gotten my passport, they said my NIN has not dropped.

I applied for a renewal of my passport over two years ago at the Ikoyi office. Someone had referred me to an officer there to help fasttrack the process even though he really didn't do much as I went for capturing twice and I did not get capture till the day was over. The sad part is after a while, this man said he had misplaced my passport. He was transferred from Lagos to Yola and said he kept my old passport in their office but no one could find it there. I have complained and nothing has changed. He had my passport them because I wanted to do change of name because of marriage. Now I am not sure if I should do a fresh passport with my married name as if I never had any passport before, or go on with renewal with photocopy of the old one with my old name. The old one had all my travel history. Please advise. Thank you

Had that issue as well. My NIN did not drop because my Name on NIN was slightly different from the one on the passport. As in Oluyemi vs Yemi. So had to do an NIN name amendment to match the passport. Did the name change in Ikoyi NIMC office when I was in Lagos in November. It never reflected after 2 months, so my passport was in limbo. About 3 weeks ago I decided to go and do the damn modification at the NIMC agent here in Chicago. I received my updated NIN slip (emailed to me in 24 hours). Forwarded it to the person doing my passport, and passport came out in 3 days.

In your case, you may want to make sure your names are matching on NIN and passport.

Try and place a complaint on their twitter handle. They may contact the Benin Passport Control Officer.

Twitter is not the official platform to make complaints.
No government agency can track or investigate serious issues on twitter.
Nigeria Immigration Service has provided official email address and phone numbers to make complaints but most Nigerians ignore it.

Compile all information you have and contact Nigeria Immigration Service directly via the official email address or phone number.

6. Application letter, handwritten to CG of immigrations for consent for baby’s passport... father’s letter
7. Mother’s letter as above.. separate. Not joined with father’s own
8. Baby’s birth certificate copy and original for sighting
9. Driver’s licence of either parent (optional)
10. 2 pssport puctures of baby
11. Applicatipn form printed from online platform, paymenlt slip and acknowedgmt slip all bearing baby’s name
12. Office grey and black file.
13. If mother changed surname on her passport, marriage certificate, change of name and newspaper publication.. or if she has a different surname on her passport.
