He is a coward who ran away during the heat of the war. A good commander always have the necessary things before embarking on war. Same way Kanu fled when Python visited... 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Sir Louis Nwachukwu Mbanefo (May 13, 1911 - March 28, 1977) knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1961, was the first lawyer from Onitsha and the Eastern Region. He was called as Justice to the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1952, until 1967 when he became the Chief Justice of Biafra. Mbanefo remained in Biafra till the very end after Ojukwu fled and left him and Maj. Gen. Phillip Effiong to negotiate the terms of surrender with Nigeria. After the war, he refused to return to the bench as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria but remained in Biafra to spend his later years in charity and church work. Sir Louis Nwachukwu Mbanefo, died in 1977, aged 65, as a knight of the British Empire, with his pride and integrity intact. Pic Credit: Historic Images 19 Likes

ihateniggov1: This picture was taken at the Ahiara declaration that took place in Mbaise. Ojukwu still had fond memories of Ahiara till his death. Seeing these pictures always evokes nostalgic feelings in me. It was unfortunate the other mugu Nigerians, especially those in the South and Middle belt couldn't see beyond their noses then to understand that Nigeria was a terrible omen. 50 years later, they are all still in confusion, as the country they fought to keep has become a killing field, kidnapping and rape jungle, and also the world's poverty capital. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Ojukwu went to aburi ghana to negotiate for restructuring Which gowon signed ,came back and rejected it and was backed by awolowo Benue hatred for igbos was a driving force and they were massively recruited to kill biafrans while core north are made their commander Benue now is their killing field Today westerners are still shouting for restructuring they rejected in 1967 be cause it came from ojukwu Same way they accept sunday igboho while labeling kanu terrorists The cowards are those that rejected that aburi accord of 1967,but now begging for restructuring in 2020 after 50+ years Because of their control of media they called ojukwu all sort of names, Rebel, separatist The way they are vilifying kanu 12 Likes 2 Shares

Ojukwu declared the freedom and independence of his people and fought a three year war of liberation under very difficult situations. What sort of coward does that? What sort of coward would fight a much bigger opponent, such as Nigeria, for 3 years? A coward would not fight at all Freedom is one one of the most honorable things any man or people can fight for. Freedom is one of the few things in life worth dying for. Ojukwu was a hero for fighting for the freedom of his people for 3 tears. Those who call him coward are those who have never fought for their own freedom for 3 minutes, let alone 3 years. 17 Likes 2 Shares |
