The major plus the Yuropa league gives you is the UCL qualification. The trophy itself is just an added bonus. That's why winners of the Yuropa league get to play the champions league the next season. Why would you want to play the likes of Midjtyland and FC Kroenke every season?

Why would I deem the Europa league relevant now when we are on course to qualify for the UCL?

At that point in the season (under Mou) we were struggling for points and prioritizing the Europa was the wise thing to do to qualify for UCL. Ole would've been sacked last season if we didn't finish in the top 4 and didn't win the Europa (to qualify for the UCL).

From what we all have said of him, I think if VDB just takes his time more on the ball and make runs towards to ball to better influence the play, he will be better...I think he can adjust his game and hopefully, the coaches will help him...

Dude. Have you seen my posts where I said Ole has to make good use of VDB?

It’s a two-way street. The coach has to find a way to get the best out of the player AND the player also has to do his best to fit in and perform.

It doesn’t make sense to change your whole system for just one player if it will affect other players and won’t immediately guarantee wins.
