Please I need help.
I got ITA November 25th 2020 but as at then i decided not to pursue because my POF wasn’t complete as the time, now I do and time is against me. It’s 13 days to the stipulated date of 3 months for me to submit all necessary document.

I have every other document but my medicals. No appointment date is available at IOM or Q-LIfe until 12th March. What can I do please

Send an email to IOM or Q-life to request for appointment . When they respond you attach their response to support your letter of explanation. When the medical result is out I believe there is a way to upload it

again, let me clarify. Rahul asked for my log in details because he needed the information to be able to get to the payment portal (remember he originally did not share it with me), and to create a fresh application for me (remember I mentioned my old one was deleted). This was early on when we first got talking!

Card details? I willingly provided it to him because I had realized I could trust him. Eventually I didn't use that card to pay lol (cos I had issues with flutterwave) I used a separate card, and he never got access to that one and no, the only place I inputed my details in was in the SECURE alberta website. I attached the link in the last post. this is it here - https://eservices.alberta.ca/iqas-immigration.html

Your third point? fair point, but I know people who are already in the pool or have already gotten their ECA, and this is how they paid.

I believe one of the reasons this topic was created is to encourage DIY (Do it yourself). Let us encourage people to do these things themselves without the need to share passwords, card information and other confidential data

stage 4. In the subsequent days, payment was delayed for reasons from my end and his end, but at this point, I was sure it was authentic, cos I had spoken to someone who paid thru him on Telegram. I couldn't pay yet cos I was having issues with flutterwave and the dollar card but because I was sure it was legit. I decided to spread the word na abi? to save people stress and all, that's when I emailed my accuser. she has attached the messages so no need to put it here.

Today, I finally fixed with flutterwave. this time Indian guy sent me an html link (his trade secret I guess?)for me to pay myself instead of doing it for me and sharing his screen like we tried the last time (screenshot to follow), . I did it and it worked. Honestly, I don't know why he did that but since I had it, I decided to share it to save people the 40 CAD cost. as proof, I'll attach the emails I received from alberta's government, and IQAS here when my payment was received, maybe even a blurred part of the receipt?. I'll also add the part of my IQAS profile that shows submitted, maybe it'll serve as further proof?

When I saw it worked, I was happy. I told everybody I knew was stuck with payment about it, and that's when I emailed my accuser again (my biggest mistake I guess?) attaching the link he sent me and trying my best to explain it. That is what led me here, to the accusation of fraud and advicing people not to fall into my trap lol

Thanks for your concern, @phabulous88, @mmammaroon, @abnot @cc1506. all this while, all I've been trying to do was to clear any allegation of fraud from my name. perhaps in that process, I divulged too much information and exposed myself to greater risk considering the volatile nature of the internet? who knows. maybe, maybe not. but then, it occurred to me that even the defense wasn't worth it. my intentions were genuine, probably naïve too, but definitely not fraudulent.

if anybody thinks otherwise and thought to say that here, then all good. Honestly I can't do much about it, but I've opted to delete all the posts I made trying to defend myself, and all the personal data I put there, as @mmammaroon adviced. Honestly, I'll really love if you guys who engaged the rebuttals can please do me the favor of deleting the posts too? for the fraud claims, honestly at this point I don't think it really matter if it stays or not. (This post will be deleted too. I'm unable to post with my main account, so this is like a burner)

phabulous88:

Hi Korede

I've been following your rebuttal and understand why you're trying to clear your name. I've also reviewed the email screenshot you received after you made payment ( FACS.PROD S and from MyAlberta eServices). Honestly, it's 100% similar to the emails I received when I made payment and both emails came in at exactly the same time (same with mine). I don't know how your Indian guy is able to bypass IQAS and that's my concern for you.

How do you think IQAS will feel knowing that their system/secured site can be bypassed, and then they associate your full name and Transaction ID with the bypass.

The internet...

Please, I would like to confirm the implication of change of name in the entire Canada process.

I have used my name before I got married on all my documents such as IELTS, WES, Int'l passport as well as birth certificate and National ID card, same was also used to create my express entry profile.

What is the implication of I decide to change to my husband's name at this point.I am yet to to get an ITA.

Who has faced this exact challenge? please advise.

One-and-same-person affidavit should come to the rescue according to the thread. In my opinion, continue using your maiden name until you're done navigating this journey to avoid unnecessary complicity. But either way, the choice is always yours to make ma.

I don’t think this should be an issue. People change names all the time. I believe a one and the same person affidavit as well as your marriage certificate and perhaps the newspaper publication showing your name change would clear this.

I actually wanted to leave it that way but it has started affecting me in other aspects, and with the recent changes in Nigeria, the NIN is now required to update anything which technically means I will have to implement this name change across all government issued identification documents including bank.

I think you should continue with your maiden name (This is what I have also opted for). It does not mean you cannot claim to be married, provided you have your marriage certificate.

At least for those who already have their applications approved. A lot of people have been stuck on security for months.

I had a similar issue though not exactly the same. Had to do name change during NYSC for my BVN because they wouldn't release my alawee without it. I did NIN with husband's surname as well to be able to change the BVN. So currently my NIN and bank accts carry my husband's surname, but my passport has my own surname. I applied for PR with my own name which is still on my passport, and submitted a one and the same affidavit. I don't plan to change my name on my passport until I absolutely have to which will probably be when I need to renew my passport in a few years' time, since they will need to link it to my NIN (I would have preferred to continue using only my maiden name but apparently they won't remove husband's surname unless you're divorced sad)
My advice to you, if you haven't yet changed your name, go ahead with your maiden name and save yourself the stress. After you become a PR you can change if you like, at least it'll be at your leisure and you won't need to prove anything to anyone at the time.
If you decide you want to just change it now on your passport, then you can submit your affidavit of change of name as proof of your previous names and it will be fine.

Use the tool for her https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
Only the tool can tell you her chances. Also grade of Graduation doesn’t matter. IELTS overall doesn’t matter too only the module by Module score matters .

You age, IELTS score (getting the required score module by module) and work experience are the major thing to look out for, @bold is of no importance in this journey. try to use the CRS calculator to simulate your scores. page 1 has it. all the best
