You need 1 year Canadian experience to qualify for CEC.
But how can someone’s CRS be 75?..... It got me thinking maybe they are no longer following the rules, I might me wrong o.

Does this mean Canadian graduates with no Canadian work experience yet due to Covid can apply and get ITA?

I don’t think so. To be eligible to have a CEC profile means you must have one year of work experience in Canada.

On the contrary, I don't think we will be seeing FSW draws anytime soon

On the contrary, if Canada population doesn't increase exponential the economy will bleed heavily.

1000 people are retiring per day for the next 10 years. Where will they manufacture people from?

https://www.benefitscanada.com/investments/fixed-income/canadas-growing-retiree-population-expected-to-suppress-bond-yields-73879#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThe%20support%20ratio%2C%20the%20proportion,was%207.1%20workers%20per%20retiree

Good times ahead. FSW will resume very very soon.

This draw is to ensure that anyone who is eligible to work can be put to work immediately.

How then can someone’s CRS be 75, that’s where my curiosity lies.

there is still a travel ban in place for copr issued after March 2020. Most of last years ita don’t have ppr yet or can’t come in just yet. They will pick Cec as they deem fit. Ielts and age does not determine your employment potentials in Canada.

You said it.

CEC IELTS requires min:
CLB 7 for NOC A and O
CLB 5 for NOC B

I believe FSW will fully resume by March.

If they have 2 more CEC, ITA will drop to between 410 to 420.

People who have this kind of CSR score are those that graduated with one or 2 year diploma in Canada (not even Bsc); who have zero years work experience; and who are at 33 to 35 years.

My strong prediction is IRCC's hand will be forced to take much higher quality candidate (Msc + 3 years experience + below 31 yrs age) via FSW.

This CEC can't last. I am sure it's giving them some headache already as they need to process like 400k candidates this year. Should they take in "low ball" candidates via CEC or should they open up FSW since unlike last year, the entire world is not on lockdown n lots of Visa offices can still process PR.

Year 2020 lockdown already exhausted their pool of quality CEC candidates.

Attached picture is where ITA would drop if they continue with 2, max of 3 CEC draws.
make una leave analysis for Indians. Barely 24 hours later ircc has gone for your so called low quality cec candidates.

Will there still be a FSW draw this month?
When will the next FSW draw be?
What will the CRS be for FSW draws in the future?

Don't worry about all that, just up your scores so that whenever IRCC are ready....you'll be too.

If you have exhausted ALL other options, please do give French a try.

Its well with this draw, and its safe to say almost if not all CEC in the pool got ITA with that cutoff 75 shocked shocked, FSW draw will take a longer time to occur with this new draw. My advice to all is continue to be ready for the opportunity ahead and go on improving your personal life. we'll win this battle only if we dont call it quit!!!. Happy weekend e-fam wink

Thanks so much. I really don't mind the ineligible profile but I hope there won't be future consequences as regards ITA and PPR?

What went wrong is quite obvious ma, it's the NOC you altered.

For a way forward, either option you already mentioned will work. If you can't bear seeing an ineligible profile (as you can never delete it) each time you log in, then revoking the old GCKEY and creating a new one using an entirely different email is the option. If you won't mind the ineligible profile though, just create a new profile with your present GCKEY.[/quote]

The issue with granting PR to FSW candidates who can't yet enter Canada due to Covid is that, it will generate massive numbers of people ready to fly to Canada the moment restrictions are removed.

As soon as the borders are opened, almost everyone with PR all the way back from March 2020 will rush in within one or two months, putting a lot of pressure on housing and employment.

That is why CIC is so reluctant to issue FSW draw at the moment

Very interesting analyses on the forum. They are mostly speculative though as no one knows why the IRCC is conducting CEC draws on a Saturday morning with 27k invitations with a cut off of 75. They should streamline their information management system to ensure people are adequately informed about changes. It doesn't seem fair to get people to pay so much money for all these services (WES, IELTS, ITA and PPR fees) and then leave them in the dark about changes to their program. What's the difference between that and the Nigerian civil service?

Good morning people, so sorry to ask basic questions, I just want to be properly guided. I did WES Evaluation for my PGD and I got "Post Graduate Diploma (one year)" as Canada Equivalency Summary.

I actually have HND, but opted to do the PGD being the highest. Now, when evaluating my CRS scored, I noticed if I had done WES for my HND, it would have given 2 or more certificates, which would give higher point than " One year program at a university " I currently get for my PGD. I am correct with the selection of "one year program at a university" as the equivalent of my PGD?

My question, what is the correct selection for PGD when doing CRS evaluation?

Make una help biko.

you should evaluate your OND and HND with WES to claim 2 or more certificates. PGD might be your highest certificate but it isnt valued that way by evaluating bodies.

Hi Guys,

I just wrote my acca f2 exam, and thank God it went well. I want to sell my bpp study materials. It still looks new.

So if there's anyone here interested in writing the f2 acca exam soon, and wants to buy, you can message me.

I stay in Lagos and the study pack is the recent one, to expire after 31st August 2021.

Thanks.

You’ve said it all. Most CECs are already in Canada on some kind of permit or temporary status. Open FSW today and the scores will be high thus better to focus on maxing scores
