Good morning Elders in the house, is it a must an applicant go through the Nigeria Students Entry (NSE) route or an applicant can go through the Normal Route? (2) For the NSE, is it IRCC that determine if an applicants needs it or the choice of NSE is made by an applicant? Your swift and vital responses will be highly appreciated. Thank you. |

Lheman: Hello, To answer your questions, 1) It's not compulsory to go through the NSE route. 2) YES, IRCC send you a message if they want you to go through the NSE route. But some persons decide to just submit the documents (IELTS and MyBankStatement certificate) upfront. This is completely by choice, so you don't have to if you do not have them. I wish you luck in your application. |

Good morning Dear NLs, I did a property valuation and the report I got was circa 30 pages. Do I need to attach all the pages or just the major page showing the estimated value of the property? Thanks |

Hello House. I was just notified that my application for Ph.D at the University of Toronto was accepted for fall 2021. They selected two international students and i was fortunate to be one. Its a fully funded Ph.D with teaching assistantship position. I await my acceptance letter. However, i have some concerns please. 1. I heard paper application for study permit is not active now, that i can only apply online. how true is this? 2. With a fully funded Ph.D, i think i should be exempted from submitting any bank statement for proof of funds?. Lastly, the police clearance certificate how can i please apply for this ? Thanks. 14 Likes |

Ara2004:Yes it's strictly online application now due to Covid-19 then for your bank statement do well to include it this will show your home ties, level of establishment irrespective of the funding they still expect applicants to submit their bank statement to know their financial status I know a fully funded applicant for PHD that was denied because of this .It would really show your home ties and other necessary ties please other gurus can add to this for police certificate it's gotten from Alagbon police station Ikoyi that's the accredited police station for police report for CANADA if you are based in Lagos!!! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Also a PhD applicant with partial funding. I got the NSE letter for my IELTS and mybankstatement. While I provided my IELTS I wasn't able to provide mybankstatement because my bank is not currently able to provide same. I responded with an LOE and attached all my POF plus the funding I got from the school. I will advise that you provide it if your bank is participating. Ara2004: |

Ara2004:Congratulations on your Fully-funded PH.D admission 1) It is very true. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, there is no paper application, so you are left with no choice than to do your Study Visa Application online, so get ready to scan Documents needed for your Study Visa Application 2) See this How to show proof of funds for a Fully-funded Graduate student applying for study visa https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/177#98436403 Credit: ditha Also read this content in the link below https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/89#97881449 Credits: fratermathy Better still, get across to members in the forum who are going for a Fully-funded Graduate Program in Canada and has gotten their study visa approved and also get across to the gurus for more advice/guides so as to be on a safer side. 3) Police Character Certificate is gotten @ Central Criminal Registry Force C.I.D. Annex Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos You are to go there with ur International Passport (Valid) & a Passport Photograph, The price ranges from #5K to #10K If you are doing your POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE out side Lagos, read this (Very Important) https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/143#91581107 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Thaiy: Hello Thaiy, It wouldn't be advised to use a company BS as sole POF for a third party without supporting it with the third party personal BS. In demonstrating proof of relationship to your uncle in the absence of old photos and the likes, draw a family tree, take a new photo with the said uncle (if applicable) as well as swearing an Affidavit of Relationship. As already mentioned by you, it also goes well using your brother as cosponsor. In all that is been done, ensure they demonstrate a convincing commitment toward the sponsorship intent. After tuition payment, your BS seems good, but if you can raise the funds in your personal account to about 10k$ to cover your LE, it would make some sense too. Or better yet, have either of your sponsors to have your LE deposited into the account. So doing, you can attribute the tuition and LE to both sponsors, respectively. Mind you, the pension BS can also play crucial role toward home ties since the funds therein won't be necessarily assessed. Best of Luck 2 Likes |
