Good morning guys, Please my sister wants to start her application to Canada to do her masters in pharmacy. I have been hearing getting a STUDENT visa is hard for Canada and I would like to hear your opinions on this?. I would also like to know the steps to follow. I know this must have been posted before and I would appreciate if someone can link me to it.

Thank you.

Hello Just Mellow,

Thanks for your prompt responses

Pls my question is if one applies the normal route (i mean has no ielts) and gets a request for NSE docs, what is advisable to be sent to them?

Because from diff posts here, the moment that request is ignored, there is no update on the application

My second question - Is upfront medicals advisable irrespective of the type of application? And how do one book for it

Thanks a lot

Hello Dolex86,

Upon receiving the NSE request without the intent to participate, you can either wait it out for the 30 days period or send an LOE through CSE or email to see if it can persuade the VO to continue the processing of the application since the NSE is still relatively new with no much knowledge on how it really works.

Applications are not completely abandoned when the NSE request is issued, there are some activities running behind the scene.

There is nothing absolutely wrong with doing upfront medicals especially if time is of essence and maybe in need of a fast application without any sort of delay.

Best of Luck

Please i am based in Ibadan. where can i get police certificate in Ibadan that is accredited.

You have to go to the police station in Iyaganku. They will probably tell you about 15k at first but price it down to 5/7k.

If you go on Monday or Tuesday, you can get it by Friday but if you go on Wed, Thurs, or Fri...you will have to wait until the next Friday

Hello ToluDstar,

As long as the inflows are always constant, this shouldn't be an issue, especially if the sum that came in was not left unexplained.

Best of Luck

Thank you, although I didn’t explain the sources as they are usual and constant.

Somebody should please list the items required for the online student visa application or share us the link where it has been discussed please. Thanks. Secondly, can one do it successfully or try using an agent.

Please can one use a gift deed from a spouse or family members to show POF for study visa application. Most of the funds will come in as lump sums, so is it possible to explain it as gift deeds from the spouse or family members?

Good morning Dear NLs,

I did a property valuation and the report I got was circa 30 pages. Do I need to attach all the pages or just the major page showing the estimated value of the property?

Thanks

Please @ awys how did you go about yours?

I didn't do any property valuation I just did a gift deed of the money transfered to my account from my sponsor and included my SPONSOR'S landed properties, receipt's,C OF O,survey plan and receipts from lock up shops thats all. Then I explained that the landed properties are in blocks of flats reflecting her sources of income that's all.

Good day my people, a new comer here. Thanks for everyone's contribution. I have a question.

I'm about to start my student permit application, I however have an express entry application, but want to switch to study. Do I need to open another GCkey account or use the same one. Also, will I be penalized, as they might feel i have no intention to come back...

Please I really need your advise on this, thanks a lot

Hello,

To answer your questions,

1) It's not compulsory to go through the NSE route.

2) YES, IRCC send you a message if they want you to go through the NSE route. But some persons decide to just submit the documents (IELTS and MyBankStatement certificate) upfront. This is completely by choice, so you don't have to if you do not have them.

I wish you luck in your application.

Good day Gurus in the house.

After a persistent sending of emails and webforms to IRCC. I just got this 'Your attention is needed' email this afternoon from the london office.

The below (2 &3) is confusing to me.

I applied since May 2020 (But have deferred my resumption to Fall'21)...which might justify why they need number 1 as highlighted (updated application form).
The number 2 looks strange to me as I don't see how that applies to me. Why do they need me to write a business plan? Or is it the business plan of the company that I work for?
For number 3, do they mean I should get my HR to write that I am still an employee in our firm?

PLEASE HELP OO. As I have barely 11days to take care of this.
JustMellow, Frankrobbn1

Has anyone here received this kind of information from IRCC and how did you tackle it?

Congratulations on your Fully Funded Admission brother. I tap into this testimony. I also applied to the school for Msc. Did the school conduct any interview for you?
Hello House. I was just notified that my application for Ph.D at the University of Toronto was accepted for fall 2021. They selected two international students and i was fortunate to be one. Its a fully funded Ph.D with teaching assistantship position. I await my acceptance letter. However, i have some concerns please. 1. I heard paper application for study permit is not active now, that i can only apply online. how true is this? 2. With a fully funded Ph.D, i think i should be exempted from submitting any bank statement for proof of funds?. Lastly, the police clearance certificate how can i please apply for this ? Thanks.

Please do you or Mr Lekiboboe or anyone else have a plug on the police officer to call at Alagbon and do you get the police clearance immediately or you go back some days after for it? Please advise.
