I don't know about nursing cause it's not my field and I have not looked into it but what I said apply to both EA and ACS according to their assessment booklet downloaded from their website.
You should have been specific in your earlier statement instead of generalising, depending on course some schools will never admit you without Test of English, there are some cases in which school waves test of English while the case officer requested for one, and also how are you going to gather the required points for PR without test of English and not even now that ITA doesn't come easy.
PS: If you actually want to get PR through point base system, you can't escape test of English.

Even if schools exclude it for you it’s still a must you write because it’s part of the visa application requirements

Thanks

Any hope with the border status?
I'm lost on what next to do. I've accepted my offer at UTAS and deferred to July but I'm still waiting for the confirmation.
Is it advisable to pay for fees when I get the confirmation and proceed with visa application with the way things are at the moment?

Thanks Fam...

My wife referred her admission to July this year.
What happens if the border did not open?

Can she defer it the second time?

Haba! Calm down.

What's I too know about the enlightenment I'm trying to share?

I've gotten my visa and I didn't use IELTS and also I shared a screenshot showing where I got my info from and you're raging at me, claiming I too know.

Just smh, I'm I contesting with you or something? this thread irritates me cause when someone question or challenge an info, the person suddenly becomes I too know.

Well, it's the Nigerian thing. People at the top always feel they are right and should not been given benefit of a doubt. Meanwhile, I'm a person that pays attention to details and always seeking knowledge.

Don't bother quoting me cause I don't give a fvck about anything you have to say. Mtchweeeee!

Happy Sunday Fam...

Please how is the first fee payment made? (I need a little guide on that please)
Can someone in US make the payment for me or is it better to pay from Nigeria?

Lastly, any hope via the border opening soon?

Thank you...

All schools Australia started online since first trimester March last year, till date they have not returned to the normal classes except for few practicals courses. Even some placement too, hopefully by July normalcy will be restored.
So not only those overseas are doing online, it's a general thing, you can confirm with other Aussie students here.
Cheers.

My brother, just defer the admission. It is allowed right now. Site Covid-19 as the reason and apply for new COE. Or you can apply to your school for reduced study load. Enrol fewer courses.

Yes it’s very possible to pay from the United States, that was the medium I used, it is even faster with no stress at all as compared to the whole form A medium.

Sorry I couldn't get to you. No issues encountered.
If the issues persist kindly clarify from the school.
Please since you are still offshore,I will suggest you enrol the minimum number of course cos of obvious reasons.
Cheers.

Hello my good people. Thank you for the good messages here.

Please my brother got admission in EIT Engineering Institute of Technology Australia to study Master in structural Engineering. However, EIT courses are not accredited by Engineers Australia.

Btw my bro has a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering Grade 2.2.

My question is can students of EIT especially in structural engineering get post study work permit and PR afterwards

The student visa fee is AUD620, with the current exchange rate and charges in naira should be around 240k (+ or -). If you're not comfortable with your agent figure, get a dollar card and fund it then arrange for a time to go and pay.

Please can international students easily work to pay their school fees in these regional areas

Good morning to everyone one here, I am new here but I’ve gone through this thread a bit and I must commend your good works of helping each other out.

I have just decided to move to Australia with my husband and 1 child. I have a bachelor and masters degree in Architecture and I am also licensed to practice the profession in Nigeria. And I am also 31 years of age.

I would have loved to try for PR through the Skilled independent visa but one of the conditions of that visa is that the applicant must not be married hence the education route.

My question now is Most of the universities offering courses I can Upskill with are very expensive, so I’m looking at TAFES, but the diplomas seem like a downgrade to my already existing qualifications, will this in anyway affect my study VISA application also considering my age and what are the chances of subsequently getting PR after completing the program.

Hopefully awaiting advice on this matter
