MissMa01:

The system will automatically increase your score when your work experience is 3years. Your work experience must be in NOC 0,A & B and within the last 10years

Thanks for replying. God bless.

I have B.A and Masters but currently no Job. What are my chances of relocating to Canada?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by KsMom: 10:41am On Feb 22, 2021
Wife can go ahead and do WES for 2 or more degrees
Husband should finish MSC, get statement of result, use it to do WES
Both of you should try and study together, get lots of resources from Ieltsliz, ielts advantage and other pages.
Lastly, you cant have one application for WES. One per applicant but can be multiple certificates. i.e. your wife can evaluate her ND and HND with her own WES account and same for you

taiwo92:
Good morning all,
Please I need contact of where my wife can have her IELTS classes around Minna,Niger state.
Husband: BSc and almost done with MSc
Wife: just finish serving, she has OND and HND
Considering ECA do we do it separately or it can be done together in one application?
We hope to actualize our Canadian dream soon.
Thanks

Thank you for the response. Since she has two certificate , will it be single payments or not.
Thanks

For her account, she will pay one fee for both certificates

ECAs must be done separately for each person. Husband can evaluate only his MSc. Wife should evaluate both OND and HND to get two or more degrees.

Have you held any jobs in the past 10 years? There is no rule that you must be currently employed to do Express Entry.

You need a minimum of 1 year work experience to enter the pool. Work experience must be in the past 10 years in NOC A, B or 0 areas. If you have up to 3 years, even better.

WAEC is not needed for WES (anymore) or Express Entry.

Tinsma:
Good morning everyone,

Please, I am trying to update my WAEC result, may I know if it is okay to leave my secondary School name as institution attended with 6 years full study, OR I would need to fill Private Candidate WAEC and choose part time.

Recent result is for Nov/Dec 2020, I finished secondary School 1999.

I would appreciate your feedback on how to go about it. thank you

Elpinto:
Good day everyone, I have a question.

I am Post-ITA/AOR, (I've submitted my POF documents and everything was in naira).

Now my question is, Is it safe to convert the entire sum into US dollars and leave in my domiciliary account? I want to do this because I'm a bit skeptical about the strength of the naira, especially in the coming months. I don't want to risk the naira getting devalued and my POF going below the benchmark in Canadian dollars.

Will making this conversion have any effect on my application?

Abeg o, can anyone please help with this?

Thank you for your response. I have up to 3yrs experience as an Administrative manager tho not all these big or known companies. Second thing is if I need IETLS to qualify to relocate to Canada.

Please has anyone here tried to do an ECA using IQAS? They keep saying their daily limit of applications for immigration purposes has been reached. Also, if not IQAS, can anyone confirm if CES or ICAS equates an LL.B to a professional degree. Thank you in advance

Thank you but I already indicated while registering for WES that payment will be made through Western Union online. Hope it will not count or affect my application if I follow your information to make payment.
no it wouldn’t, you’ll get a reference number, just make the payment

Hello all,

I am posting this information on the PR Biometrics update at VFS Global Ikate, Lekki, because I searched through nairaland, but could not find the necessary info prior to my appointment. I hope this helps someone else. My Biometrics Appointment date was today 22nd February at the above address after obtaining my Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL) on the 17th of Feb. Ensure you take the following with you for your appointment:
- Valid International Passport
- 2 photocopies of your international passport data page (write your email & phone number on both copies)
- Print out of your BIL
- Print out of your VFS appointment letter
- A pen

The whole process took about 1.5hours in total. It was not as slow as I expected.
Please ensure you do your photocopies at home as the internet centers around charge N500 per page! I forgot my BIL and had to pay 1500 to printout 3 pages undecided Also, the VFS center for Canada on the 1st floor, has a photocopying machine. I was able to make a photocopy of my international passport for free, as I took only one photocopy with me. But I'll advise you photocopy at home, just incase that copier is faulty.

Also, ensure you confirm your VFS appointment in the email you receive after scheduling the date. If not there will be a system error with regards to your appointment.
Success to everyone.

Their website has a lot of glitches, it happens to me too. Just keep trying. Also, I noticed it happens less when I use Microsoft Internet Explorer and not google chrome.

Hi, were you later able to resolve this? I've also been getting a CRS score of 0 for almost 3days now. Could anyone who had a similar experience assist?

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 1:39pm On Feb 22, 2021
Yes you need IELTS.

You can use that work experience so far as it was in the last 10 years. You need to get a reference letter from them. People sometimes add bank statements or pay slips if they feel the company isn't well known or to prove that they really worked there. However, this is NOT required by IRCC.
