I had my interview on Tuesday and I was refused visa ,I think it was entirely my fault as I answered all the questions with monosyllabic responses … I didn’t try to convince the vo… he asked what I do and I said ‘video editor ‘ he asked my purpose for visit and I said vacation lmao… [b]could I have done better? [/b]Yes ofcos as I have travelled to many countries including Uk and Canada before.. all I wanted to do was spend 2 weeks vacation in us since I had never been there before. I’m married with a 4 year old kid but hubby was going to allow me go for vacation alone to blow off some steam after working so hard. I was denied based on the fact that i didn’t have strong ties which is ridiculous, would I leave my 4 year old kid behind and abscond? I intend to reapply and even if I get denied again, it won’t be because I didn’t do my best cos I knew I could have done better… the feeling of inadequacy makes me so sad and hunts me
