It is not always about speed during games but also about speed during training or sprint contests. The former is situation specific while the later is a better indicator of your true maximum speed.

Rashford also doesn’t help much with pressing or with defensive work during the course of the game so it is understandable that he would be fresher and faster than James at the end.

For yesterday’s game specifically James was already tired by the time Martial was warming up which is why I thought it would be him to come off rather than Greenwood.

You forget that bar that crazy Spurs game, we have not conceded a goal from open play against any of the traditional big 6 teams. You also need to remember the very good chances missed by Bruno (Liverpool), Rashford (Chelsea and Arsenal), Cavani (Arsenal), etc.

Ole proved he can beat top 6 teams last season with quick counterattacking football. I am sure you noticed that all of the big 6 teams we played this season bar Liverpool det their team in a way to contain us and they were all okay with playing out a draw.

I kinda feel bad for United fans in their early 20s or younger, it must be difficult with the lack of trophies.
