Please kindly advise, I have got admission with South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences for summer start I have blocked my account since January but have not gotten visa appointment. The school sent a notice that my physical presence is not required in Germany as they have resolved to run this semester entirely online because of covid 19. The thing now is that they asked me to send in some documents for enrollment of which health insurance certificate is one of the documents, I thought health insurance certificate is what I can get when I get to Germany. I am confused on how to go about this please any idea on how I can go about this. |

U can check EDUCARE24 and get ur health insurance done with them. Fintiba health insurrance is also good. Aside the school requesting for health insurance in order to get u enrolled, u need health insurance for ur visa. It's not untill u get to Germany b4 u get an insurance. |

Most studs in their second semester went through this so there is no cause for alarm. Write out a list of the document required of you from your school, send the ones you can send via email and the others via DHL because I think some might require your signature. You should send a mail to the school asking for the desired health insurance, this is usually dependent on the location of your school. When it comes to University documentation, it's better to contact the University directly. It would surprise you how friendly they can be, I know our departmental secretaries don scar us for Nigeria lol. ojxclusive: |

I have not heard of anyone, but I think there is a space for this information when you are filling your visa application form. Child and dependent. naijacentric: |

Hi everyone good evening, please can anyone recommend school or link to Germany university that tuition fee is free and I can apply without writing an English proficiency exam such as ielts.I heard some universities will admit you with just WEAC and NECO with other documents Sha that's if you are already coming from English speaking country like Nigeria,Ghana E.T.C Secondly am going for an undergraduate program Bsc hope German language is not compulsory if I choose a program fully taught in English. Please I need a detailed explanation |

Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Adede7: 1:30am On Mar 04, 2021 |
Krissy01: Since you are going for BSc. you must present your English proficiency test. Also check very well to see if Germany proficiency is also needed, as most German schools require Germany proficiency for undergraduate degrees. If you can still meet up with the deadline, try and register for the English proficiency test on time. |

Please those that paid application fees how did you go about it, not for Uni-assit but for private Uni...if in case you applied with payment of application fees either private or govt own but direct to school without Uni-assist, what's the process. NB: Its urgent and your prompt response will be appreciated. |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by NwadiNK: 11:17am On Mar 04, 2021 |
No, I don't have a German language proficiency because it's not part of the requirements for the course. It's an English program, International Wine Business at Geiseiheim University. They even accepted an English proficiency letter from my school (HND). I have already enrolled and we are even done with first semester. My first semester exam is going to be in May but I applied for category B.... No appointment date yet. Do u think they will ask for German proficiency if the school didn't ask for it? Been calling the lines to ask but not going.. ghettonews: |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by ghettonews: 11:38am On Mar 04, 2021 |
NwadiNK:Ok is not a problem. Yes they normally ask at the consulate but since u already hold an admission letter and also u are already a student of the sch there's nothing to worry about. And make sure u don't partake in the examooo unless u(really know say u Sabi book well well) cuz if u fail one course 2 consecutive times then the sch will expell you. And secondly how old are u now? That's another factor u should plan well too before u go for ur interview |

Who told you guys this You have 3 trial for every exam, and with the covid online semester, any exam you take won't count for many schools, it's like a free trial(for many schools). And the expelling if you fail 3 times depends on the course, if its not a fundamental course for you, it's not an issue. ghettonews: |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by NwadiNK: 1:00pm On Mar 04, 2021 |
OK. There is no issue with passing the exams. Regarding age, is there a limit to go for a BSc program in Germany because I haven't come across that. U can let me know what the limit is? Lastly, what category should I go for, A or B. ghettonews: |
