Cars are everywhere in Lagos with their ever dilapidated roads. Why not invest in railing systems, So many Fashola abandoned rail projects littered around the state. This doesn't add or alleviate the poor situation and condition of Lagosians! 1 Like |

just2endowed:they had plans and thats why they sent packing the likes of gokada which had provided jobs to thousands of Nigerian graduates . Tinubu's empire is nearing its end. I wonder which road they'd ply in lagos since they sent gokada and co off the roads |

I don't understand this government, you're collecting tax from people and you still want to compete with them. Its not that the services they render is inadequate, in fact Lagos road is already crowded with upsurge of different vehicles. Mr governor is using our collective wealth to create an avenue for revenue for his family and friends just like his predecessor. Like like and share if you think I'm right. |

You are damn smart. I sent you a dm uote author=Queenlovely post=99623754]The next Bill Gates will not build an operating system. The next Larry Page or Sergey Brin won’t make a search engine. And the next Mark Zuckerberg won’t create a social network. If you are copying these guys, you aren’t learning from them. Of course, it’s easier to copy a model than to make something new. Doing what we already know how to do takes the world from 1 to n, adding more of something familiar. But every time we create something new, we go from 0 to 1. The act of creation is singular, as is the moment of creation, and the result is something fresh and strange. This is a statement from Peter thiel, why do we keep copying things, we should be unique. think outside the box. Abuja has Nairaxi, Lagos has this one, Uber,Taxify, Bolt, Carxie. ... Jekalo. ... Rideme. ... Ride on. ... Ola Cab. Parkwest Cab Me too business destroys society and profit[/quote] |

Advice: To make it a success, no civil servant should be allowed to work for the enterprise. That was one of the success of Babatunde Fashola. He employed expert from private sector. |

May God bless you governor Sanwo-olu not only because, you being the best and the most popular governor in Africa but because you are the FIRST governor EVER who always move and carry his DEPUTY along. No wonder Lagos is a country mistakenly found herself in a country. I pray other states will emulate you. postbox: |

That USELESS POLICY has increased the rate of unemployment AND poverty in the country. We should aviod using the USA concept fro Naija. |

just2endowed:yes, there is what they call nationalised industries, where state governmen owns big coporations, but let consultants manage on their behalf. It is important for state to invest in critical sectors like transportation etc, cos it is imperative in the day to day economic drive of the state. In UK they operate state owned/nationalised industries in their transport and food sector. To provide large quantity, so that price will drop for the citizen. More supply, leads to competition, and reduction of price for the benefit the citizenry. You can not leave critical sectors for business men alone, they will rip off the masses, capitalism is all about maximising profit, hence the government must protect the citizenry, by investing in critical areas, to create subsidy for the citizens. This enable them have more disposal income. Saudi Arabia, America, kuwait, germany, all nations give citizens subsidies in various forms. At the end of the day, government is about making life easier for the people. 3 Likes |

Omg not again, why not invest in our own(Innoson vehicles) if he thinks that's what lagos state needs at the moment. It's so unfortunate that our system dosn't encourage individual effort towards building a sustainable economy.Well i'm not proud to say this but i can't wait for my visa to be ready so i could build my life some where else 1 Like |

Common basic amenities like water, power, housing and good roads, we don't have. What's their biz with cab? The biz is already flooded by Uber and Taxify |

FreeSpirited: It's called state income. This will force the private ride hailing services to drop their price to a competitive level. I'm guessing you should know this that is if you're not an illiterate. And finally, If you are still upset about this then fvck off Lagos. You were never invited to the State in the first place. |
