The Quality of Farmers league isn't the same as the Big 3 hence, you cannot put farmers league scorers in the same bracket as the big 3. Yes, Farmers league scorers are talented and for the future but they must earn it at the Big 3

Maybe because Drogba played for Chelsea and won them some trophies that’s what makes him ahead

Drogba is a finisher but I still wonder why dude cannot 1 goal in every 2 games

Yakubu got 95 epl goals and Drogba got 105

You should know the teams yak played for yo get these goals grin
Just talk say Yak better pass Drogba

It should obviously be a conversation are you okay isi adighi mma 1 player has 10 Goals at the Worst club in the league while another one has 3 goals at the 6th team in the same league and you believe that the 10 goals striker shouldn't be given a chance?? Are you okay Sir?? Super eagles number 9 belongs to No one and you must earn it and continue impressing for your club. Otherwise, someone else performing should be given a chance. And I think Osimehn is a better overall striker than Simy but what I cannot stand is "Selective judgement" "biasedness" or "partiality" NEVER

it shows you don't know anything about football especially international football. Listen fella, osimhen is the undisputed number 1 Striker in super eagle and he will always start when he is fit except you don't want to accept the bitter truth and you want to keep deceiving yourself.

saw the game last night and must confess he is not 100% fit, a fully fit osimhen is a nightmare to any defense in the world.

I am really so happy for him, i'm beginning to worry his Wolfburg days might be returning.

Let this guy just be excused from the AFCON qualifiers, he has been thru a lot since is expensive transfer and needs to focus and settle down at Napoli.

yeah he is not 100 percent fit at all. I pray he get back to his best form but the pressure is just too much for him right now. Everyone want him to score in every game which is understandable. He will get there with time.

Horn Galloper of Foxestalk on Iheanacho

I think he plays best whenslightly off the principal striker (Vardy). It was pointed out in the commentary last night, and on MOTD, how fruitful the Vards-Kelechi partnership has been.

Vards however isn't scoring; Maddison and Barnes are out. Kelechi IS scoring goals - Fulham, Burnley and Brighton but the chances are that Rodgers will replace him as soon as Perez is fit again. Even last night he couldn't help thanking him by pulling him off.

Rodgers is an excellent manager but his treatment of Iheanacho has been utterly capricious, last season as well as this season - seemingly intent on destroying his confidence by dropping or substituting him however well he performs.

Given the support and encouragement of his manager, Kelechi could be a really good striker for us. God only knows why Rodgers has it in for him.

This person talk well abeg

Giving Osimhen a call up in the next Afcon qualifying match and neglecting Simy Nwankwo who had scored 10 goals in the same league would be a great Selection biased. You call his goals defensive mistakes and tap ins, lol grin grin

Why is Osimhen not scoring from that?
You guys keeps giving excuses that Seria A defense is very tight, but someone in the same league in one of the worst team in the league scored 10.

Haba!!

Osimhen should be called and so do simmy

Osimhen is first choice striker for now ,forget the lesser goals

Even moffi is still in a farmer's league. In the national team, simy only played crumbs of minutes in just a few games in 2018. he never even started a game. 2018 and 2021 has a huge difference on his quality.

Na Warey person go rate umar ahead of a seria A player ,the double standard no be here

Simy Nwankwo also has to be called.

Giving a call up to Osimhen without calling Simy Nwankwo who plays in the same league with him would be biased. That's my argument. I never said Simy Nwankwo is better than Osimhen.

I don't have any problem with him, personally I don't even have a player I will place above the team

SADIQ Umar won't be called up. He's doing very well but his time will come. Thanks goodness he is heading out to Sevilla in the Summer once the En-Nesyri transfer out of Seville is done.

Terem Moffi will make the list. The list is with the NFF but they are delaying its release as they are "scrutinizing" it. Rohr even hinted at it in the last interview that Moffi has a "different" profile and it'll be interesting to look at him.

Simy Nwankwo is doing well for himself and that shows the depth of our strikers pool but I don't think he will make the list. Time will tell because a last minute change can happen when you have a lad on 10 goals in a league like Serie A.

But Osimhen is the striker Rohr is more than happy to welcome back from injury and with him scoring yesterday even when not yet at 100%, you can be sure he will make the list.
Rohr has said it times and times again than Osimhen is the first choice. That is what folks must understand.

A lad that is responsible for 8 goals out of your last 11 goals in recent games is not one you drop because some other has 10. Omo... Club Stats no be everything ooo. National Team Dynamics and synergy comes first.

In the last Super Eagles list for our Competitive fixtures vs Sierra Leone, we had Osimhen, Iheanacho and Dennis Bonaventure named as the CFs. Onuachu later joined them as a late call up replacement for Simon Moses who was named to the original list before Injury ruled him out.

That left us with Four CF options although Dennis can also play from the wings.

Also, In the last Super Eagles list pre-AfconQ double header with Sierra Leone, we had Iheanacho, Onuachu and Dessers as the Centre forward options for the Algeria and Tunisia friendlies.

Now, You are Gernot Rohr and you have to pick three strikers from among these lots for the March games. Who would make it to your list?

- Terem Moffi (Ligue 1)
- Simy Nwankwo (Serie A)
- Kelechi Iheanacho (EPL)
- Paul Onuachu (Belgian Jupiler Pro)
- Victor Osimhen (Serie A)

I hope you can see that dropping any of them will be tough based on recent forms and happenings.

For Osimhen, it's not even a question of form but the fact that he is Rohr's first choice CF/ST. And he scored yesterday on his return from the head trauma scare which will be great news for the coaching crew.

So you have the floor... Imagine being in the shoes of Rohr and make your choice. It will be respected. wink

To be frank, it would make sense to reward Simy for his form in Serie A. He is not our best striker by any stretch putting all things together but we have to admit that 10 goals in Serie A is not easy abeg. No be beans.

Also, it would be a tough call to increase the strikers invited to four because I am sure Simy wasn't even in the mind of Rohr when he initially drew up the list. Plus he's seriously considering Moffi.
I mean it was just couple of days ago I reported Simy hitting 8 goals. Now just yesterday he don knack 10. To be honest, If he (Simy) makes it into the list eventually on release, it's because of last minute alterations made to the list.

Rohr "normally" names 3 strikers(centre forwards) to his 24 man lists with the other forwards being wingers. But now it could be four strikers with Moffi in the mix also and now there's Simy knocking with 10 serie A goals. Also it depends on if the list will be 24-man strong or 26-man strong. So time will tell. Don't forget we also have standby list.

On SADIQ Umar, you know how much I rate the lad but I will be honest. Rohr will be right to delay his invite especially in the presence of guys like Moffi and Simy who are doing just as well in Topflight leagues within the Big 5. His time will come. At 24, his move to La Liga will surely bring him into the picture of the Super Eagles in the long run.

If not for the fact that we are stacked at that position my stance would be that Sadiq Umar should be called into the team ASAP. If he was a FB doing all this nobody would be talking about division 2, just like nobody brought that up when Eze was tearing up the championship. Even as we speak people are waiting for Ovie to make the team list, is that not division 2? Then the insinuation that the championship is by far superior to la Liga 2 is just outrageous.
