I had similar problem last month. Its pile. Take daflon tablets, and anusol suppository and it would heal. Wish you a quick recovery

Please go to a teaching hospital and speak with a gastroenterologist as quickly as possible; also insist on a colonoscopy test (this is very very important). Don't go to a regular hospital except they have consultant gastroenterologist there.

Please don't think of this as simple hemorrhoids or dysentery; treat it as very very urgent.

A close relative had the blood in stool issue and kept treating for hemorrhoids not knowing that it was colon cancer.

I pray that you don't have the same issue but appeal to you to go to the nearest teaching hospital or a specialist centre with gastroenterologist for thorough checkup and treatment

Ulcerative problem May be that

I have seen a big gbola just penetrated your anus recently and you had a tear, reason you see blood in your stool.

thats serious Pile.....it has happened to me before...go to pharmacy get Red and yellow capsule and flagyl.....take 4 pills of red and yellow at once and take 2 capsule of flagyl... Then thank me later

occult blood test isn't necessarily taken to know if there's blood in the stool alone but equally to know the underlying cause of the blood in the stool.

How would it differentiate blood from a colon cancer from that from a hemorrhoid/pile though?

Stop eating bread and every other sugary stuffs. Including soft drinks.

Chew two bitter kolas per day, every day. One in the day time, and one at night.
Eat foods that are rich in fiber. Like beans, green vegetables...
Drink enough water.

This is very valid...it helped when I had similar experience some months ago

One just have to understand as you grow old, there are certain foods and drinks that you either stop consuming or drastically reduce consumption

It's pile, you have to be careful of what you eat. For now, don't eat solid food like hard eba or fufu, avoid fried food, drink enough water, reduce your sugar intake, eat more vegetables and fruits but also avoid banana, pineapple etc. Use local herbs if you know any. pile is not a good thing, my dad battled if for years and he was able to control, he used herbs and was mindful of his food.

You got opening in your intestine and if you don't attend to it fast, you ll drop to the floor very soon due to excessive blood loss.

My uncle went through same last December but didn't tell no one thinking it ll stop since it started on it own. Till he fell in the bathroom. He took 4 pint of blood before he could start treatment for what was wrong.
