DELSEY:
just like I said earlier on, Nigerians are still landing jobs in the Uk irrespective of the law

You are very correct. I just always like backing up facts with references.

Quick one: Nigerians are landing jobs because the law permits and not otherwise.

People shouldn’t be thinking the uk is lawless like Nigeria.

The update simply meanings, agents won't poach potential employees but if you apply independently and directly, you'll be considered and employed if qualified.

So, not much has changed other than the elimination of agents in the recruitment process..

thanks what sun newspaper wrote can simply be termed poor journalism, they should have expound further but instead they made it seems like we are completely banned from applying.

Sun Newspaper is known for news sensationalism.

Journalism in Nigeria is grossly unethical.

Believing everything you see/hear/read in the media could be detrimental to one's wellbeing.

Everyone in the relocation drive to UK knows that policy has been up since last year yet a lot of people have succeeded with the application and now in the UK.

Let's keep hope alive, it can only get better.

yes you can. It's either ur employer gives u a letter stating they will be responsible for you family or you have a certain amount of money in your account. But most people go first so that they can settle down nd pave way for dere family

Please friends I want to ask, I will be graduating soon BSN in the Philippines. They don't allow us to take their board exam, and I am looking for another way. So I am asking if its possible that when I write Nclex here, I could find a job in either Canada or US without experience or licence from home country or just look for a country to do my masters. Your suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you

UK processing is faster and you get a work permit, USA takes a longer time 12-18 months and it comes with a green card.... requirements for registration differs by country but if u want the fastest way out, get your IELTS requirement for UK plus other requirements and when u re in the UK you can plan your next move.

How do Nigerian nurses in the UK care for their children under 5 years judging from the number of hours they have to work? Putting into consideration that her husband won't be going over to the UK permanently with her anytime soon

Contact the Nigerian nursing and midwifery council to enquire if you can take the Nigerian RN examination with your Philippines education.

Both countries you mention require a license and work experience (in most cases).

I wonder why Phillipines doesnt give license?
Try NMCN 1st, if not u can come to Cameroon to do BSN(1 year and cheaper) again or Masters(2 years), then you MUST get work experience ( paid/unpaid in a big hospital) in Cameroon.
Cameroon will easily give u license.
