Let's not forget that monogamy is novel to the primate homo sp. More so, not only are we learning to take nto account the emotions, and will of the participants of courtship, we are also learning not to value one gender above the order.

Also, men and women meet more people than previously when we lived in small tribes, hence increasing the probability of having lust, and emotions for someone esle other than the spouse. If monogamy was the will of creation, creation would have provided the code to shut down the possibility of having feelings or lust towards another woman or man other than ones spouse.
After all, creation put this codes in place for doves and some few animals.

For example the schistosoma spp. (a parasite of the helminths(flat worms) binds permanently with one female its whole life span. Penguins often do the same.

Hatred too is encoded in the Genes. When a certain chimpanzee observer and scientist discovered that chimpanzees mobilize themselves to fight wars with other tribes she was dumbfounded and even scared to publish her research. Because, she finally discovered that the reasons humans fight wars was indeed rooted in our biology as in contrast to what we thought - the devil or bad people.

A man was not created to be with just one woman. Even God's men in the bible had many wives so we are not cheating, we are simply living our lives. Actually, cheating should not be associated with men because it doesn't apply to us. David was a man after God's heart, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Solomon all had many wives and concubines, did you ever hear of them being accused of cheating? Even when Jesus went to visit one man I can't remember his name in the bible, he dined with the man and ate the food served by his wives and concubines. Why didnt he rebuke him or reject the food if the man was sinning by having many women? Modern religion started caging men with one wife marriage and all of a sudden, the word cheating began following men up and down. Stop it.
