Buhari is teaching the next President and future presidents how to rule Nigeria.

I hope when a southern President follows suit nobody would complain?

Mr President matter Don tire everybody,he is so unprepared. Adamu is from the North Central zone and that kills my assumption of him trying to keep it within the Core North.

No one actually and really cares if you keep the IGP there till 2032!

The Government will always justify any action that is in their best interest ... and unfortunately they have the support of their minions who live on the crumbs from their table.

The Police is the most corrupt institution in Nigeria so they are actually of no use to anyone

very unpatriotic . In a sane country, no one is above the constitution ; not even the president. May posterity judge those that see evil and deliberately call it good for selfish reasons.

From their argument, it then means the President can appoint a non-police official as IGP for example a Retired Police Officer.

Sometimes one begins to wonder how this guys think honestly, like God!!!

Kuku say you want him to be there to run your fools errand well in 2023 instead of trying to explain with irrelevant excuses, but that's not my own concern, your own problem is... There won't be general election in 2023 by God's power, yoruba will have its own Nation.

Never has Nigeria sunken this low! On all fronts, the country is laden with incredible corruption, wanton disregard for the law, impunity, untold hardship and wickedness, deceit, gross mismanagement of affairs and resources.....and so much more evil vices. If it is Bu who is still the man at Aso Rock (I can't be convinced he is), then he must be most incompetent and most heartless man alive.

Anything to move the country forward? even if it takes breaking the law? What precedent is buhari of a person even setting? A man that has well passed his service years. If u have a good conscience void of mischief, you'll agree that Buhari is totally wrong on this one. This is not a position based on appointment, he is a public servant bound by constitution, and buhari or Adamu is not above the law.

This Buhari believes once his tenure is over, he'd be announced dead, so that the country won't manhunt him and administer justice on him.

He's a criminal and the people around him, especially Bola Tinubu who holds the secret dearly to himself about the truth of the real Buhari that's dead.

Una go see wetin go happen after his tenure.

Them have plans already.

This regime is just turning everything upside down.

This act will be unfair to both his predecessors that surrendered according to the law and those that are to succeed him that you would have killed their opportunity to rise to the peak point of their career.

This act by the presidency is a morale killer.
Is Buhari still the president?

I expect all of us to know by now that there's a conspiracy theory going on in this country chiefly to cover up some bad ass.
If you look at how the service chiefs service years were extended and how hurriedly they were nominated as ambassadors even before there successors were announced, you will understand that this is also part of the game.

One thing is sure; by the time Buhari leaves office and the reverse is the case, his people will carry arms as usual then, the country will break up peacefully.

The only reason why they don't want him to go now is because they know people have already been clamouring for a southern IGP, so they will rather have him there till 2023, is it not buhari again.
