IDENNAA: This impostor here is a good example of what I'm talking about. Imagine what someone that claims to be Igbo wrote?! These are the scums claiming to be from Anambra. This sort of character will be quick to condemn fellow Igbos but you won't see them defending our collective interests. The gambaris fight to keep the entire North together despite having hundreds of ethnic groups and different religions because they're smart to know that there is strength in numbers but empty coconut heads like this bingo want Igbos to split into bits so the vultures will devour us. Rocksvibes234: Fantastic updates! Thank you very much! Hopefully they will utilize the roof of the ATC tower for installation of radars and other equipment. Since it is easily the tallest structure in the area. 6 Likes

EastisBae:The easiest way to know a non igbo and "My mama tell me say I be Igbo from ("most" probably Lagos) " is their eagerness to slander another Igbo state (something that was created with no respect for ancient clans and intent to further divide Ndigbo by the Northerners) but when our identity is slandered or the need to promote our collective interests, they will hide as if they never existed. I know them very well and don't waste time with them or allow their spiteful stupidity get close to me 4 Likes |

Pass11:Everyone is paid blah blah blah, why not pack your load and go and live in Umahi's Ebonyi and stop disturbing our peace here or go and pick a form and contest for governor and turn Anambra to heaven, Stop your useless rants, It looks like you are mentally challenged. What we ar doing here is celebrating the progress of Anambra under Obiano.. Create your own thread and post whatever you want lets see if it will last 2 days.. Stop derailing this thread with your nonsense.. 7 Likes 1 Share |

BKayy: These vermins are so disgusting, they're a cancer detrimental to the progress of Igbo nation. Empty coconut heads that don't know their left from their right! Our enemies have continued to reduce our boundaries that once stretched from both sides of the river Niger up towards Benue and down to almost the coast, to a small enclave they called SE yet these bastards still want to reduce it further to mere clans! The greatest fear of our adversaries is to see us unite and these fool's continue to play into their hands. Nigeria is becoming chaotic, dangerous and ominous with each passing day and wise people should be aligning and uniting to stand a better chance of defending themselves. I spit on them!! 2 Likes |

This picture clearly shows the terminal building has 3 floors against what a certain night owl said it had only one floor which couldn't fit check in counters for airlines, security point, baggage claim and passengers. It is clear the ground floor is planned for airline check-in counters, baggage claim and offices. While the first and second floors are for passengers and refreshment shops. I can only imagine how beautiful it will look after the internal plastering, tiles and lighting are completed with appropriate art work! Some people will die o! ordinary tower gave them sleepless nights for weeks 9 Likes 1 Share

Rocksvibes234:This goes to show we can do it and dont need to wait for federal government. Next governor must build rail and connect whole state through 21 local governments. My only dissappointment is that stadium should of been done with proper stadia. The pitch is perfect but we needed at least a 10,000 or 15,000 seater stadium and obiano would of really smashed it and done a major legacy. The stadium is letting down this beautiful projects he is doing. Airport and ICC are very good. 5 Likes |

AlaIgboRepublic: Exactly,we can do anything we want to achieve as a tribe irrespective of the government at the centre. Thanks to obiano and Anambra for reinventing the igbo spirit. The only gas pipeline in the East was done by a state government in the East Three out of four Airports in the East (completed and not ) where/is being built by the state governments of the region. It took the fed government almost a year and half to rebuild an existing airport in the East, yet obiano has put up something grand like this in less than 2 years. This is something of pride to the entire igbo race 8 Likes |

cjrane: Which coy is doing the terminal again? I hope they include at least 4 jet-bridges! If they do, that would mean the top floor would be for departures (together with the duty free shops) while the ground floor would be for arrivals. There would have to be a clear separation between the two for immigration and customs purposes. It just occurred to me that it would be tricky using the same terminal building for both int’l and local flights, so maybe they are constructing another terminal for local flights. And we shouldn’t forget the cargo operations aspect too; that would require a whole different type of building...one that can handle cargo. 4 Likes |

Rocksvibes234: I hope they get the roofing of the conference centre right. It could make or mar the building. |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Rocksvibes234: 9:32pm On Mar 17, 2021 |
China railway Beijing construction company is handling the terminal building. They will include more than 4 jet bridges/ gates, because the apron is big enough and can comfortably accommodate 8 Boeing 747 aircraft PROUDIGBO: 1 Like |

Rocksvibes234: The stadium seem not to have a soccer playing turf ? |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by cjrane: 10:13pm On Mar 17, 2021 |
AlaIgboRepublic: I think the stadium is in phases. I prefer they complete it small and allow the next government to either expand it or just leave it as Awka stadium and construct their own 30,000 - 50,000 capacity stadium. What i hate most is abandoning projects for the next government because you know in Nigeria they will want to do their own. So it is good how they made it a FIFA standard mini-stadium. Let the next government build its own legacy project of a world class stadium. 2 Likes |

Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by cjrane: 10:21pm On Mar 17, 2021 |
PROUDIGBO: I'm sure the Chinese company has built other modern airports in China and other countries to win the contract bid. So i know they will have clear way of ensuring departing passengers can be in a safe part of the airport, while arriving passengers will have access to baggage claim area and leave the building to the car park through the "Arrivals" door. So, i am sure they will have at least 2 doors in front and behind for "Arrivals" and "Departures" so they don't mix. For such basic stuff, any company that has designed or built airports should know. I hope they add aero-bridges to the terminal. Although i found out the only Abuja and Lagos airports use aero bridges for international flights ONLY. Even the aero bridges in Asaba airport is never used. I don't know why. 4 Likes |

Yes the stadium is being build in phases, This is the first phase and it's very cool with nice pitch hybrid grass, underground cooling system, changing room, average pavilion and others I pray the next administration will expand it to more than 50,000 capacity, because it will change the landscape and skyline of Awka City cjrane: 4 Likes |
