justwise: Thanks for the info. That will be too much time, there has to be a way to find a job without passport and visa. |

Hello, i sent my application for student visa extension Tier 4 on 25th September, 2012. They have taken the money from my bank account, QUESTION: how long will it take for this whole process and ultimately my VISA to arrive? I am also troubled as now i don't have a job from 10th October, and i have no visa because its sent away for extension. Would love to know suggestions about getting part-time job or anything thats possible without VISA at least until it arrives. Thanks. |

Hi, i just applied for my Student visa extension which i may get for one year, now while my passport is away with my application, it might take a long time to return, till then, if i have to work part-time somewhere, i think i will need a visa or passport to show to the employer, but since the passport is away, can i show the employer any other document or what is the solution to this? |

I am in UK since 3 years doing my course that ends next year (so its a 4 year course), but my visa expires soon on 18th October, 2012. I will soon be applying for an extension for 1 year for a Tier 4 student visa. Now, i have all the documents ready with me, i have £1800 in my account (to show for living costs and the rest for two months) and to leave them for 28 days in the account the date will be 18th September, 2012, that's when i plan to submit my application. I still haven't paid the £8400 fee to my university, but i will mention this in my application where they ask how much fee i have to pay(£8400) and how much have i already paid(£0). My question is, do i have to show £8400 fee in my account's bank statement for 28 days as well or can i get away without showing that amount and show just the living expenses(£1800). |

Hello, I am in the UK since 3 years now, my University starts 10th October, 2012 and visa is valid till 18th October, 2012. To extend i have all the documents but they asked me to keep £1600 in my account for 28 days and plus the fees for my final year which should be £9000, question is, if i get the funds in my account by 3-4 days and from let's say 21 august, 28 days is 18th september. Will it be okay if i send my application along with the bank statements after 18th september? |
