Your soul was miserable, that has nothing to do with you being an atheist, it's your personal issue.

Whatever rows your boat bro

Besides, I don't need blessings, save it for your theist friends.
Thank you

You're welcome.
Thanks for your time.

Church didn't work for you, so you turned your back against God. You didn't become an atheist brother, you were just an hater of god because atheists don't even believe it exists not to talk of hating it
When you turned 30, you felt so miserable and cursed. This happened to you personally, it doesn't happen to Atheists, because those who converted from theism to atheism have more peace of mind than when they were theists.

In a nutshell, because you had problems, you believed your atheism caused it, so when you became a Christian all things turned around for good. To be honest with you, if you never thought about god or jesus and work towards achieving your goal, you are going to achieve it without them. Things didn't turn around for your good because you became a Christian but it's because you believe that's where your liberation lies and when you joined them you started thinking positively and worked well towards achieving your goal.

I understand you very well. Trust me, with PMA I was doing OK for myself physically. It waa my soul that was just miserable.
And yesz it started with my disappointment with God, which turned to anger with God and eventually complete denial and disbelief in His existence.
I wish you would read my earlier posts here especially 2016-17.

Any way, the ultimate truth is to Live and let live.
If atheism works for you in everything, by all means continue.
If you know it doesn't, I only present what eventually worked and is working for me.

Have a blessed year HardGuyHardGuy

I won't claim to know the answer but I used to experience this.
I didn't make a big deal out of it. I suggest you shouldn't either.
However, it might be spiritual so please if you're not a believer, you should try to sort that out.

Being in Christ has so much benefits, it gives you guidance, shields you from every evil and gives you peace of mind

Only when good things (most are normal things) happen, you give the credit to your god, but when something bad happens even after you prayed, you'll start giving filthy excuses.

A typical religionist.

One thing I've come to realise is, Understanding is the difference between a believer and an unbeliever.
I've told you some of the deep things that turn people's lives around. Yet, what I'm saying is different from what you're hearing.
Because Understanding only comes from the Holy Spirit.
Its called a language veil.
There are verses that explain this but if I post them, you will not see the sense in them, but take offense in them.

I didn't want to mention it before but the truth is I was as cynical as you not so long ago.
Church wasn't working for me again and I turned by back on God. I became an atheist.
The only reason I contributed on this post is because I can relate as all the questions posed were the things I went through. I used to be very scared of expressing my atheism because I didn't want to lose my job.
But eventually I couldn't hide it anymore and I became quite vocal about it.
The Christians clearly saw me as the damned.
A lot of my colleagues hurled insults at me. Some also tried to evangelise to convert me.
But I was so far gone, I even shook their own faith and nearly converted them instead.

But when I turned 30 years old, I felt so miserable. I felt so cursed, even though I didn't believe in curses. I just knew I was far from where I thought I'd be . in fact I didn't let anyone celebrate my birthday.

I believe that made me become desperate for a solution.
Luckily the desperation didn't take me to the wrong places. It made me curious about the efficacy of Jesus Christ.
I eventually sought Wisdom and it pointed me to Christ and led me to a church. And that's how my journey began.
In one year, I became a testimony in the church, in my family and office. The rest they say is history.

You could conclude that my desperation made me become gullible. But truly, my humbled desperation made me qualify for salvation.
It is what Christ explained in the Beatitudes.

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.

I've said so much already.
I have no ulterior motive by trying to explain these things to you.
Only want to liberate your mind.
The deception is to think everyone else is foolish to worship God and only few of you are the wise atheists to know that God does not exist. Truly, the reverse is the case. I luckily didn't learn this the hardest way. Some people do.

All the best to you bro.

It is not grace bro, you did it yourself
There are a lot of Christians who still don't have that self control

That's the mystery and paradox of Godliness.
It always looks like we're doing it ourselves. But it is God in us, working through us.

I used to wonder why Christians did that, attributing what they did to God.
Today, I truly am humbled to do the same.
All of the Glory truly belongs to Him. It is a dangerous mistake to take God's glory.

Like I always say, you can't explain Christianity adeqiately. Christ can only be experienced personally.
Truth is, you can't appreciate God until you need Him.
I had to come to the point of realising my emptiness, loss and wild goose chase without God before I could humble myself to try Him and submit to Him.

My life turnt 180 ever since.

One does not need your jesus to show love, it is a personal thing bro.
Do you even know how many pastors fight over supremacy, how many church members fight each other. So much hatred over people of other religion or belief system.
Bro please have a rethink.

Don't look at people as your standard. Everyone has his weakness. But look on to Christ.
I know where I was, the things I had no control over.
But today, I can't believe my level of self-control, all thanks to the Grace that works in me.

The same societal laws restrain theists too..
Morally and otherwise, we ain't doing better than those countries with far less religious/atheists citizens..
Most theists arw hypocrites..

Most theists are truly hypocrites.
On that we agree.
That's why it's not about the laws but the state of your own heart.

Both theists and atheists flout laws.
But once one is truly saved and fears God, he lives in love.
Love (as taught and exemplified by Jesus Christ) makes you something else.
You no longer need laws to avoid evil.
You certainly no longer need laws to do good.

The whole of the gospel of Christ is to enmesh Love into human nature. It's to make a human being overcome things that control him and make him susceptible to do wrong.
If you will be honest there are things you want to stop, things you hate to do, but you find yourself unable to stop.
This is really what laws expose. Our lack of self control.

God helps us all.

I think the fear of the law of your country should be the basis of your living, not the fear of an imaginary god.
Besides, religious people happen to be the most dangerous set of people. Many of them are the ritual killers, they steal pants, pastors doing all sort of ritual killings to get more members and all sort of bad things to gain wealth spiritually. Atheists don't do these because we don't believe in them.

Thank God for country's constitutional Laws helping to maintain some level of decency and sanity.
But then, who decides your country's laws?
What is legal in your country might be illegal in another country. Doesnt that mean your ideals are transient?
Today you support gay rights, tomorrow you're anti-gay just because human laws govern you.

Which is why Constitutional (Human) laws are not dependable as much as God's laws.

MJBOLT:
dangerous in what way?

First, one of the most precious things is a human mind.
Wnen anyone's mind is exposed to wrong knowledge and philosophies, it is susceptible to dangers. Hence anyone who comes in contact with an atheist's belief system is at risk.
That is how an atheist became an atheist in the first place, through exposure to questionable knowledge.

Second, an atheist is unpredictable. Thus can be good or dangerous.

An atheist can justify any evil or sin because nothing is necessarily evil or sin to him.

This is not to say an atheist is not conscientious. But his conscience is built on his own idea of his ideals. Thank God for societal laws which could prevent him from being unrestrained.

Can you blame us?
The fear of God is the basis of our humanity.
Once anyone denies that fear, he seems liable to all inhumanity.

Of course this is just a heightened fear that in most cases is unfounded but truly in the wrong hands, atheists can be very dangerous.

One who stands for nothing, will certainly fall for anything. It's just a matter of time and desperation.

Poverty is a disease. Look at how grown men are kneeling down because they want to collect change from an adulterous fraudster.

The interesting thing about pride is... It always makes you think you're humble.
Be humble.

While I don't condone the kneeling, I don't think he asked them to.
But until you're able to kneel down to your God and even your fellow man, you are proud.
I am simply addressing your attitude to kneeling.

Well said.
But truly, the list is too long and exhaustive. Hence our votes will not only be sparsely distributed but also not count.
For any opposition to be formidable against the established APC and PDP fiasco that is ruling us, we need a coalition. The well meaning parties need to combine forces, sacrifice their selfish ambitions and decide amongst themselves who to represent them in order to form a worthy adversary.
We need to have a unanimous candidate of choice and concentrate our votes for.

Only then can they stand a chance.

We don't fight fear with motivational speeches and quotable quotes.
We don't fight fear by denial and not acknowledging it.
We don't fight fear by running from it.
We don't fight fear by distractions that become addictions.

We fight fear with the Word of God.
Know always, what God says about your situation.
Have a scripture to strengthen your faith.
Keep praying till you know it is done.

With patience and faith, our hope and rest is assured.

Politics / Re: The Absence Of Atiku From The Debate... A Political Master Stroke by pressplay411(m): 5:06am On Jan 20, 2019

I have read with complete astonishment the reaction of some persons to the absence of atiku from the debate... Those statements made by the APC supporters aren't too shocking cos they are known for double standards and retárded thought pattern, a characteristic whose transfer from party to party supporters can simply be described as the 8th wonder of the world.. Cos they choose to ignore the glaring and undisputable fact of the absence of their principal, who lacks the mental capability to partake in a debate.. He couldn't even excel in an interview organised for him alone .. Sad...
But what's shocking are the reaction of persons who aren't zombified...
Here are the facts
1. The 2019 election is clearly between buhari and atiku, if u think otherwise... You clearly can look yourself in the mirror and lie to your self..
2. I can bet you non of the other contestant will win their senatorial district.. Talk less of their state
3. That the debate even with the absence of the ruling and major opposition was still about them(75% of the discussion was abt the participating contestant proving their case not against each other but the other absent parties)
4. That the other contestant didn't debate against themselves as expected
5. That the debate which by standard was expected to pit candidates against themselves by way of ideology and promise of better service delivery, didn't go as planned cos the common enemies weren't on ground ...
6. That atiku had no bases participating in such debate when his major and true opponent was absent,. The other contestant would have clearly ganged up against him and that wouldn't have been to his favour
7. That atiku was present at the venue was enough reason to know he was ready.. But not ready for unnecessary debate with person who literary are not political heavy weights and do not pose any threat
8. That atiku is billed to attend other debates and talk shows where the basic agenda is to sell himself and talk abt his plans.. On the 30th he will be on the NTA debate... Same one that buhari managed to fail not too woefully because osibande (as he is called by his principal) was on ground to save him, but he failed non the less..
9. There clearly wasn't a reason to participate in the debate since the agenda was to expose the incapability of the president to hold office.. Not to exchange words with persons who clearly are no threat or have a strong political value right now..

The aim for that debate for atiku was to tear APC/ BUHARI apart and expose their fraud to all.. Since that wasn't gonna be.. There was no reason for him to be there..
Q.E.D....

Cc.. Mynd44 , OAM4J

Wisdom is truly profitable to direct.
You travel all the way from US to Nigeria for Presidential Debate only to boycott it because your core opponent was absent?

-Would his story not have elicited passion and commitment if only it ended with him availing himself for the debate?
Even if the others would have outwitted him, he would have won our hearts by his relative sacrifice.
Is it not misplaced target and priority to focus all your campaign on the incumbent and neglect the opportunity to win the hearts of the voters, to dignify us with your presence and plan?
Is it not pride to belittle the other presidential candidates as unworthy of your time?

He could have easily won our hearts, but the thing about Wisdom is, it is the one thing that can magnify your little effort. While the lack of it, nullifies all your herculean efforts.

Congrats to the presidential candidates that presented and defended their candidacy and plans as they displayed their commitment, passion and intellectual capacity to occupy the number one office.

I wish however at this point that they would all abandon their personal ambitions and decide amongst themselves who is the best choice. Thereby uniting to make up a combined stronger opposition with enough momentum to genetate the ample amount of shockwave to form a formidable and worthy adversary against the ruling parties.

Only then will our votes not be divided and sparse but united and count.

May the Best (Wo)Man Win.

Proverb 31 are wishful thoughts of the author. I disagree with it because it depicts men as lazy and docile incompetent creature who sits at the city gates to take glory for their wife's achievements and doggedness.

On the contrary. Both husband and wife are to be exemplary in Excellence.
Diligence is a quality God demands from both man and woman.
Do you know what it means to be like Christ?
Trust me, a man, if truly a Christian, is the best thing that could happen to your life, your children, the society, etc.
Try to study the stories of Aquila and Priscilla, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and David in terms of their diligence.

About whether or not it's a wishful thought, trust me you can either assume the whole gospel is a wishful thought or accept and come to know that no part of it is a wishful thought. That's what Faith is.
Have a good night... And dream sweet.

Your post are always divisive. From compulsory tithing to this.......what the hell is wrong with you. Because a woman is working to help herself and family you are quoting and writing unreadable epistles. If we didn't, you call us unprintable names at the same time quoting proverb 31.

You seem to disagree with the Proverbs 31 woman. I don't blame you, she seems too good to be true right?
Probably no woman has lived up to her standard. But just as man is pursuing the image of Christ, I believe wives are also to pursue the nature of a virtuous woman.
They say, if we chase Perfection close enough, we would attain Excellence.

My submission, is that nothing stops a woman from being an excellent career woman and an awesome wife and mother. Women were created extraordinary. It seems however not all women know this.

To answer the OP. Cooperation is key.
If you can get a maid, please do
If you can't or don't want to, it will only require more flexibility and sacrifices from both husband and wife.

Being married to a Nigerian man requires special training o...Good thing is, God has blessed me with wonderful kids. They are my helpers, always asking if I need help and my oldest is just 12years. Sometimes, I wonder how I have survived 13 years of living abroad without help....Marriage sef! Overrated bullshit!

I feel your pain. I can only imagine.
But please, present it to God in prayer.
Just pray for God to intervene in your home. To perfect your home according to His Will and to have His way in your home.
Stay persistent in this. You will be amazed that God will touch both your hearts in ways your never expected.

Imagine a wife working in the island going back to pick her kids in mainland then returning to work in the island then going back to mainland at the end of the day. That's like how many hours of shuttling to and fro ....kikikiki. Most of the time this is done on a public transport while Oga goes to work with the family car. Taking your kids to your place of work ...I wonder how many bosses can accept that.
The wife will do all this things then come back wash, cook and clean and then be expected to fvck all night long. Marriage is becoming less appealing as the days go by. This is no longer the era when you have relatives from all angle flooding your house.

Lol don't see marriage as unappealing.

If you realise the person starts acting weird, you could call and apologise later.

But sometimes, your time could mean a lot to the person, so you just have to make the sacrifice. You never can tell what people are going through.

I completely love the life, having a spliff at the end of a long day at work, clearing my mind off the sundry worries of life, Brainstorming and getting ideas for the next move.
Or Just simply toking and gulping my fav vodka, listening to some Damian Marley and Chilling with Bae on the weekend,
Perfect Trips...

But I have gotten to this point were i want to go without smoking for some days, Just a little break, I just can't embarassed... 5 years down the line, i hate it when i cant seem to put it under control.. lets say smoke like thrice a week.

I begin Some days and I am like I aint gonna smoke after work.. but find myself getting to that point where i need the herb to ease my self..

I have a very understanding GF and we do plan on getting married some day, she doesnt have a problem with the herb, but She wants it under control, something i seemingly cant do

Have you ever Quit Marijuana, Pls share some tips, your story might just be what i need right now

Thank You

Sorry I had to break your instruction. Sue me later.lol
I was also addicted to alcohol, sex and masturbation. I don't know which was stronger- the alcohol or the masturbation.
What I'm getting at is that addiction is the problem regardless of the substance or habit your addicted to.

Self-control is the ultimate goal in life.
We always think we are in control or we can control things until the chips are down and we realise we have lost control.

How did I overcome my addictions?
You guessed it. By changing my addiction.
Doctors and Therapists will ask you to channel your addiction to nicotine gum or working out, etc.

But I can only guarantee one sure solution.
Choose to pursue the Knowledge of Christ, not with any ulterior motive but simply with a curiosity and the intention of knowing who this Christ is and what He can do.
This journey will lead you to faith as you will come to believe in Him.
This journey will baptise you with the Holy Spirit.
This journey will help you love God more than every thing else.
Your hunger and thirst will change from the wrong ones to the righteoness of Christ.

I am only saying what the bible says, and only because it is my testimony. Jesus Christ is your Solution.

My first suggestion is to ask yourself some real and right questions.

Why can't you just stop?
How long can you continue like this?
Will you love to raise your family like this?
Will this not eventually kill you?

All the best bro.

When I lost faith in God and drifted away, I stopped fearing God, which was easy. And I also stopped fearing the devilI, which was a bit more difficult.
I realized my vast knowledge and self professed wisdom became less productive.
And my external was OK but my internal was dying.
I had to resort to drinking and immoralities to stay sane.
I also realised my knowledge and wisdom made me cocky, proud and argumentative. This certainly pissed people off.

However when I came to realize that only God gave true wisdom, I suddenly grew an awe of Him.
And when I experience the rebirth in Christ, and He delivered me of my habits and other fears of the unknown, I developed a major fear and awe of Him.
That strengthened my conviction and faith in Christ and it humbled me. This produced access to the deep things of God.

I may not be completely fearless yet, but my faith in God has drowned most of my fears. Now people and even I can't believe my calm in the midst of stormy situations.
Truly the fear of God is primary to everything in life.
Religion / Fear by pressplay411(m): 10:25pm On Jan 17, 2019
Title: FEAR

Key Definitions:
Fear: A strong, uncontrollable, unpleasant emotion caused by actual or perceived danger or threat.
-Terrified veneration or reverence, particularly towards God, gods, or sovereigns

Songs:
Tremble- Mosaic MSC
No Longer Slaves- Jonathan David
Oceans- Hillsong Worship

Key Verses:
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Isaiah 41:10

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
1 Peter 2:17

The Message
There are two kinds of fear;
Godly fear and worldly fear.
Worldly fear is the product of false beliefs. It results in unbelief and doubt in God. It results in lack of faith in God.
What you fear is a reflection of what you have heard or seen or what you think and which has formed your belief and conviction. It is a product of the senses.
Most of our fears (if not all) are false. Most of our fears are unreal. We only make them real because we believe them.
Some of us have even created self-customized fears and phobias. Some examples are fear of the future, fear of unknown, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of height, fear of embarrassment, fear of falling, fear of attention, fear of crowd, fear of people, fear of settling down, fear of darkness, fear of light, fear of food, fear of clowns, fear of animals, fear of heart break, fear of loneliness, fear of marriage, fear of children, fear of growing old, fear of death, etc.

Once you substitute the fear of God for anything else, and you let in worldly fears, there's no limit to how much fears you keep creating for yourself.

F- False
E- Evidence
A- Appearing
R- Real

Only one fear is key. Only one fear is real. Only one fear is admissible and permissible by God. Only one fear conquers all.
And that is the fear of God Himself.
When you have the fear of God, you begin to value and hold Him, His Word and His Presence in high esteem.
When you have the Fear of God, Everything He says through his Word becomes the only thing that is REAL to you. When you have the Fear of God, congratulations, you have true Wisdom.

May God produce in us His reverence as we truly know Him more and Love Him for Who He Is. For His Power, His Might and His Majesty. For His Mercy, His Love and Grace.
The fear of God extenuates, extinguishes and consumes every other fear that holds man in bondage.
The Holy Spirit whom we have received does this inside us.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7

Not expressing worldly fear is an expression of Faith in God.
Fear is inevitable, it is just like every other emotion. It has its advantages when properly harnessed and directed to whom it is due.
Fear is like a force of resistance, without which there can be no controlled intelligent motion. Fear is like gravity, without which there can be no flight.
Fear is only good enough to help us turn and cling on to God and rest in Him. That is what produces Godly fear- the Knowledge that the Salvation power and Majesty of God is above all, no matter the situation. Until you eventually get to the point of trusting God beyond everything, even in the face of death.

Hence, do not dwell or meditate on worldly things that cause you to fear.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Rather Meditate on the things of God, His wonderful works, His promises, His precepts, His statutes, His Goodness, His Love and the Good things about and around us. This assures you of the capacity of God to overcome all your challenges. This puts you in a worship and thanksgiving mood causing an inexpressible Joy and Peace of Mind inside you.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9

Worldly fear is the opposite and antithesis of Faith in God.
As such, fear comes and permeates the mind the same way faith comes.
How does faith come?
By constantly and perpetually hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17
Hence, fear comes by perpetually hearing the words of the devil via the world viz, superstitions, toxic conversations, miseducation, profane contents from movies, news, music social media, etc
What you expose yourself to and spend more time listening to or watching determines what you fear.

Pay more attention to God, to truly experience more of Him, to believe Him with conviction and truly fear Him more.

A fearful life cannot is a dangerous bondage. A fearful life is a faithless life.
A life without faith limits and grounds one from fulfilling purpose.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6

Let us meditate on what the Word of God says about the Fear of God, what it produces in us and how expedient and priceless it truly is.

“But where can wisdom be found?
And where is the place of understanding?
Man does not know its value,
Nor is it found in the land of the living.
The deep says, ‘It is not in me’;
And the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’
It cannot be purchased for gold,
Nor can silver be weighed for its price.
It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir,
In precious onyx or sapphire.
Neither gold nor crystal can equal it,
Nor can it be exchanged for jewelry of fine gold.
No mention shall be made of coral or quartz,
For the price of wisdom is above rubies.
The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it,
Nor can it be valued in pure gold.

“From where then does wisdom come?
And where is the place of understanding?
It is hidden from the eyes of all living,
And concealed from the birds of the air.
Destructionand Death say,
‘We have heard a report about it with our ears.’
God understands its way,
And He knows its place.
For He looks to the ends of the earth,
And sees under the whole heavens,
To establish a weight for the wind,
And apportion the waters by measure.
When He made a law for the rain,
And a path for the thunderbolt,
Then He saw wisdom and declared it;
He prepared it, indeed, He searched it out.
And to man He said,
‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,
And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
Job 28:12-28

Declaration:
Heavenly father I cast all my fears and burdens unto you. I know you are bigger than all my worries, all my cares, all my fears. I choose today your Wisdom even as I choose today and always to Fear You, Obey You and Love You with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind and with all my strength in Jesus name.
Amen.

Closing Verses:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 9:10

Go and download a book entitled "Mankind Search For God". Speaking about all the major religion in the world is a search that will take a long time. I did make such research in the past. I tell you that it is best you do such research yourself. But that book is a better start.

This book though.
It will either make you an atheist or a strong believer.

I posted these questions to one of the threads under the religious forum. But I found these questions interesting and I decided to dedicate a thread to answering these questions. Some of these questions are questions that have haunted me way back when I was still a christian:

* Why does geography seem to have far more to do with one's religious choice than actual free will?
* How can you say God loves and cares about everyone if some people suffer while others prosper?
* Even if we assume that one particular religion is true, doesn't the existence of many religions at least prove that mankind likes to make up religious stories, and that people have a tendency to believe them? How do you know yours isn't one of those?
* If everyone actually believes in the Christian god, why would highly religious non-Christians purposefully following the wrong religion, especially when that religion is more strict or just as strict as any sect of Christianity?
* If Adam and Eve only knew good and evil after eating the fruit, then why did God assume when he told them not to eat it that they knew it was "wrong"?
* Why do we inherit sin from our ancestors, but salvation has to be an individual choice?
* If god is omniscient, (all knowing), why do you need to pray to him?
* If god is omniscient, (all knowing), why does he need to test us?
* If god is omnibenevolent, (All Loving) why did he create evil? In Isaiah 45:7 the scripture reads as follows: "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
* Please explain the difference between a "Claim" and "Evidence" and after doing so, please show me the evidence for your god.

P.S I want to appeal now before its too late. If you're a christian and the only thing you're going to do in this thread is hurl insults, I'd advise you to reconsider and stay away from this thread. Lets try our best to keep a civil argument

Good questions.
I can't wait for the day you yourself will have the answers.
A curious mind is a beautiful thing to God.
It leads to the Truth.
And Christ is the Truth, The Way and The Life. He'll tell you all there's is to know about God.

I could give you some answers but it will only lead to further arguments. You can only experience it for yourself as you choose to know and understand who Christ is.
Grace and Wisdom to you.

FINALLY IT'S TIME FOR FOLKS TO YIELD THAT THEIR BIBLE AND STORIES TOLD OF THEIR RELIGION IS NOTHING BUT THE WORKS OF THE PRIMITIVE MEN'S IMAGINATION.
IF THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN IN OUR TIME IT'LL CONTAIN STUFF LIKE TABLETS AND ROBOTS INSTEAD OF MUSTARD SEED AND SCROLLS.

YOU SOUND REAL STUPID WITH THIS CLAIM, NO DISRESPECT INTENDED.

THINK. WHAT DOES YAHWEH NEED PRECIOUS STONES FOR? FOR FASHION OR WHAT?

STACKING RICHES, PLANTING TREES, ENJOYING TRUMPET TUNES AND JUDGING PEOPLE SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING A MORTAL MAN WOULD DO.

I am actually not only very stupid, but very foolish too when it comes to God. And that's what makes Grace abound to me and unfortunately that's what makes God resist you.
Who loses? You who is so wise and lost or we who are foolish about things of God and have Rest.

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 1 Corinthians 1:27

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Matthew 11:25-27

You just said God is beyond the universe meaning He has custody of everything inside and outside the universe. Should Gold not be among the least of the precious stones He has?

Please do yourself a favour and just delete this thread. Don't publicize your ignorance.
Seeking proofs is your problem.
Rather seek the Kingdom. Just believe it's true and seek it.
You know there's more to life than what you sense physically. If only you'll be honest.

Lol. Guess what? Satan is the power behind sickness and death and I have him perpetually under my control, so there is no such thing as me dying. I can say this because I operate in faith. I wish you’d learn how faith works, and be free from fear of sickness, death and Satan for life. Faith is all you need to defeat Satan at every step of the way.

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

You never need to suffer again bro, only if you could embrace faith.

You've done so much justice with your replies. He that has ears, let him hear.
More Grace and Wisdom to you sir.

HardMirror:
you ended up saying nada! And yet you claim this is the easiest question you have had to answer all year? You are a joke.

So cos of the sin of man, your god has stopped healing people. So why were you telling people that god would heal them in your thread? So you were lying to them?

Interesting thread.
What amazes me still about you is that you've once handled this truth, you've once benefitted from this faith. But some how, you lost it. You stopped believing. You quenched the spirit.
My best guess, you let in Pride inside you.
You didn't give the glory to whom it is due- God.
Your motive was tested and iniquity was found in you.

I've been there.
I once held this truth before too but let it slip off in my case ignorance was my undoing.
I "stumbled" on Christ again during NYSC while I lodged in a church lodge for half of my service year At the end of the service year I obtained favour from God and got a dream job.
Unfortunately the spirit kept pointing me to go for the church foundation school. But the job became a priority, choking up my time that I eventually made excuses and never got to go for the foundational classes.

I was walking in quintessential grace, I knew something was no longer normal about me. I knew things I was never taught. My intelligence quotient spiked higher than sky scrapers. I was extraordinary.

But Alas, there was no foundation. I didn't even know I had received the Holy Spirit and He was operating in me.
When I eventually didn't grow spiritually, my faith dwindled and fear set in.
I lost the job and my downward spiral began.
I questioned God and his existence.
I questioned divine favour and saw it all as fate and luck without any God.

I experienced the damning wilderness for the next 4-5 years then being tossed up and down by the wind. Until I came to recognise the existence of God and chose to believe in Him and His Son once again. I realised only God gives wisdom, and I knew I needed His wisdom.
This time around He directed me and placed me in the church I could concentrate to grow in Him.
I went through the Foundation class, started to serve Him in a department and chose to know Him and Hear Him more.

My Faith, My Life, My World experienced everything the bible promises. And yes, i stopped falling sick. I received a permanent healing. If I have a headache or expose myself to mosquitoes, I simply prayed about it and the next day I'm restored, whole again. My colleagues who knew how frequently I used our HMO, testify to my divine healing. This God, this Faith is real. All you need is not proofs, just personal experience as you genuinely believe.
I can't wait to see what God is going to make out of you, me and everyone else this year, even as we believe, trust and focus on Him more.

Your wilderness is over, once you humble yourself to recognise, you need help from God and Jesus is the Way.
God bless you.

If only Mourinho would set condition for his own pride and attention-seeking.
Great coach, bad attitude.
And Attitude is everything, beyond skill.
All the best to him.
