MNDY:

Rest. It is the nature of your gender to collect a man's money. Even an independent babe or babe from a wealthy family would still want to be collecting money from her man.

Your gender believes that NATURALLY, A MAN SHOULD TAKE CARE OF A WOMAN NO MATTER WHAT and A MAN'S MONEY IS SWEET TO COLLECT AND USE EVEN IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN MONEY.

Even if she loves you very much, she will be expecting money from you.

I am well rested, thanks

Thought one way to show you Love your partner is meeting their needs? Now it's wrong to ask?

There's a difference between a leech/needy partner to the one who asks once a while; receiving cash gift from my man gives a different vibe...what's the man's pride if he can't provide?

As an individual, if you find it hard to give financially to your partner before marriage, it will be worse in marriage when you have more responsibilities

My take

Smiles........no woman can know the intention of a man except he wonno devour it. A man can play along for months, even a year to get what he wants and flees afterwards. Some of the things that keep a man is your value, your character and your faithfulness. Most men have this belief that u ladies are only after monetary and material gain in a relationship/marriage, being the reason u prefer/go after already made men. Most of u ladies are not willing to stick with a man, struggle together to build a loving home. The quest for material and monetary gain have really reduced the value men ought to have towards u ladies, so don't blame men ok. I seek a good woman too, but unable to find one yet.

You haven't met a real one I guess

You guys want in most cases want a woman who clubs, lives heavy on materials things that makes her look hot, sexy and presentable to impress those who care less of the relationship is healthy or value filled for both of you....then turnaround to complain about what you knew would happen

The generality of what women want is just money is not 100% true, what kind of women have you been meeting?

You meet a student babe or one who is out of job/applying, she has needs so? Yes she will ask her family but also ask you MORE...even a babe with a job and business will still ask for financial support once a while, so please keep searching and be very sincere about it

Op, men naturally are 'chasers', almost everything they do and think is on target

Toasting endlessly for 2weeks was a target for him at the time
Sex with you was another target (maybe it came too early)

Once a target is achieved, what happens? You move to the next....

This has happened, don't feel bad or mad if he chooses to call it quits with you, learn this and never fall for such again...how?

Plan or decide to know the person you're in a relationship with (timeline on you), what he really wants from you and vice versa, the values you both intend to add to each other before the sex part...you will be fine darling

Family / Re: Married Men: Share Your Bitter Marriage Experience by prettyem(f): 5:13pm On Feb 18, 2022
Many people enter into marriage with loads of impossible expectations they themselves cannot fulfill or submit to forgetting they are getting married to a flesh and blood like them. SMH

I am still single by the way and getting quite a lot of knowledge about marriage, homemaking and childbearing/upbringing...my mentors have deep-rooted, blessed and stable homes plus I don't believe in 'marriage na scam or every man is a cheat' societal hymn because I know I will get whatever I believe and expect even in marriage

To those having issues now, how many books about having a successful marriage, how to raise kids and all about family life did you read/see/learn from before you committed to your spouse? Did you submit to marriage counseling or you knew it all?

You went to school for at least 4years or learnt a trade for some years/months but enter into marriage with NO knowledge and you expect magic to happen bah? You ignore red flags, base your calculations on financial or societal status, human connections and other shallow values... I am not saying all of these are bad yeah? But shouldn't be the core of your marital commitment because Nothing lasts forever. Ask right questions during courtship, MBA nnu, that's when you want to learn different sex styles

For instance, babe was a drunk before you married her and you feel she will change after marriage? Or an intentional lazy, entitled bloke that procrastinates even his next breathe but you are a go-getter babe, what you expect?

For me o, according to The Word of the Lord, Marriage is Good and Honorable...Blessed is the man who finds and marries me because I carry the Favor of God, husband-man will sure enjoy Divine favors through me

I am learning
I am leaning and trusting God as I wait
I am ready

So OP, change your mindset about marriage sort your issues with your partner, seek counseling and be refreshed

Give her 3/4 months to think and LEARN about the pros and cons of the business (she'll come up with) before she invests or starts

That time will also help her 'calm' a bit, do some research about her intended business, her client base, major enquires and how not to repeat mistakes...

That N1m is sure a morale booster and I pray you won't regret it, I also pray she won't fail in any endeavor she chooses

But for now, she needs to clear her head from the 'NYSC idea' and be ready for life....

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: CBN Covid19 Loan Via NIRSAL Microfinance Bank: Registration & Repayment by prettyem(f): 10:17pm On Jul 10, 2020
A friend got an alert notification from NIRSAL MFB of the loan amount she requested plus all the deductions on 12/06/2020...went to their office to ask how to transfer the money to her personal account...

First, she was told to open a current account with the MFB...5k, fill a form, bring all necessary documents for opening an account. She tried to ask questions, no answers till she opens the account

Went back with all they requested 2days later, only to be told to write her name in a paper in their office and she will get alert in her bank (not MFB) within 48 hours...

Saw nothing after a week of waiting, went back and was told to give them another 48hours she will get it...up till today (10/07/2020) NO ALERT NO NOTHING

Her concern now is that she's to start repaying the loan by September (3months after "release" by government) but she is yet to get the money.

Please what would you advise her to do?
What is really happening to the money?

Your sincere help and suggestions will be appreciated

Events / Post Covid-19: Safety Protocols/tips For Hospitality Business by prettyem(f): 2:29am On May 24, 2020
Hello there, how are you coping with the 'new normal' lifestyle? smiley

Congratulations to everyone who fasted for one reason or the other since the lockdown began and to all Muslim faithfuls . May all your requests become reasons to celebrate smiley

This is a long post but with immense benefits for everyone, especially those in the Hospitality business/career and her (potential) customers

This write-up focuses majorly on eateries, hotels, malls, bars, lounges and other hospitality joints/planners that will receive 'visitors' or host events (parlor, bar, hotel lobby, poolside etc) this sallah break and afterwards...its geared basically to help you achieve 2 things:

*Provide excellent service to your customers without compromising the Health and Safety of your workers/business including the facility...

*Ensuring the continuity of your business post-covid

Relate this to your business structure (buildings, size, location, crowd type), your business model etc that'll help you avoid unnecessary call-outs and tags but help you standout

SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR BUSINESS OWNER/OPERATOR

1). SOCIAL DISTANCING
This is no longer news I believe but you can easily control your 'crowd' putting these in place.

First of, a security guy MUST be posted to each entry/exit points with one major function (asides his primary duty):
to allow access to your facility

What do I mean? Only your security official should open and close door(s) for now cos you'd have people coming from different places you can't ascertain their healthiness esp. if such is an asymptomatic carrier of the COVID-19 virus or refuse to handwash before entering your facility (some will even lie they just sanitized their hands).

Security must first be 'officially' kitted with a uniform, then be fully and rightly kitted with the necessary PPE (soft, airy long-sleeved shirts, 'breatheable' nose mask, gloves, faceshield...applicable to all staff), must have a functional Temperature reader (know how to read/use it) and a bottle of hand sanitizer which MUST be applied before opening the door to the customer (adults and children alike)

Marked floors (yellow paper tapes or any other type available) indicating the distance between a customer and the next is highly recommended (except you can confirm they're coming from same house/location, do not allow any 2 persons stay together)

This must also be observed by your all members of your staff. As much as possible, RUN SHIFTS and do routine Health check on your workers before assessing the facility

2). SAFETY SIGNAGES
This is key as it helps you give right information to almost all your clients except if impaired (no disrespect). You can make do with those conveying information like:
*Watch your steps
*Do not touch the walls
*No eat-in ONLY
If you're going to allow them eat-in, ensure only 2 seat to a table and if a family of say, 6 come in at once ensure they use same table and seats, then sanitize immediately they leave before another customer will need to use it
*How to wash your hands
*Do not touch M.E.N (mouth, ears, nose) etc.
You can have simple drawings on cardboard or get safety posters to pass your information correctly, post them in strategic open places and ensure compliance by ALL.

3) CROSS VENTILATION:
As much as possible, allow fresh natural air into every space in your facility and regulate the use of A/Cs. Studies show that the virus tends to survive/replicate in cool areas but for very small spaces you can 'open-up' the windows when there is no client around and revert once they come around

4) ACCIDENTS/EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Ensure that you have a "complete" First Aid Box close by and not locked up in the manager's office 3000miles to where you interface with customers. It should be accessible by any of your 'trained' staff including your security officer, at any time

Do you have a POOL? Awesome wink
Follow this guide:
*Firstly, Temperature-check every one coming to your pool by the entrance
*Provide a shower area for a pre-bath before entering the pool
*Control your'crowd' ie. Do not allow more than 10people inside the pool at once ( to allow more people in, you can do 10 per hour) evacuate them, treat the water and allow the next set in but if you really do care...close that section for use

SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR CLIENTS

1)Obey ALL Health and Safety guidelines Everywhere you go
2)Avoid crowded spaces, especially if you feel unwell
3)If it's not life-threatening, stay indoors with family (so many Eid, birthday, wedding etc celebrations will come after now... you need to be alive and healthy)

For everyone concerned, kindly ensure

-ALL electrical materials (wires especially) are not exposed or have tendency to cause harm/fire accident at any point.

-Fire extinguisher should also be filled and strategically placed for easy access

-Should you need to use the Muster Point, ensure social distance is observed

Be Vigilant, Be Proactive, Be Safe.

Drop your comments and questions. Thanks for your time.

Happy Celebrations
Happy Holidays
Cheers
