That's what I've been using from day one, in short, I'm having sore nipples now due to too much pumping. The nipples are long enough to latch on, she's just not opening her mouth wide enough to take in both the areola and nipple together, she latches on the nipple alone which makes it painful and gives the nipple irregular shape

Please confirm if she has a tongue tie. It can be corrected easily now.

Good day All,

I recently got PPR (family of 3). I am in a dilemma and I would appreciate your opinions as to which option to go with. My wife works with one of the Big 4s and she needs to give them 3months notice b4 resignation.

Option 1: I land alone, try to settle into the country and make adequate provisions for her and the kid. With this plan, wife and kid would come after her 3months notice period. However, someone told me that if I come alone, immigration may not allow them entry because I am the PA and that the PA is expected to travel with them.

Option 2: She applies for leave from work and We all come together but she and d kid do softlanding. They return back to Nigeria after spending one month and she drops her resignation letter and wait out the 3 months notice period. My issue with the second option is that we would have to spend money on flight twice..

Pls house I need your opinions

@ednut1, @lasignor @19cannymum

Right to notice may be waived by either party and payment in lieu of notice is acceptable. It is calculated by taking basic salary into an account and excluding overtime and other allowances.

Thank you my sister. How long did it take for your period to return back then pls?

My period comes back early like a month after birth. Not seeing your period does not mean you are not ovulating.

Don't buy 0-3months old clothes because yhey are usually undersize especially if your child is on the big size.

My second son weighed 4.2kg at birth. The clothes I bought for his naming ceremony was too tight for him but we squeezed him into it and removed it after the ceremony. Lol.

I am a bit confused sis. Thought I saw your baby bump here..

Pls mamas my breast milk is adding to my pains, I mean thinking of my baby and crying. What should I do since there is no more baby to suck it
See a doctor, you will be given a drug that will help dry the breast milk fast. Though, you will still go through the normal pain of stopping breast feeding.
Try to also be among people and get engaged with different activities. It will help ease the pain. There is indeed ease after hardship. These are the things that helped me back in 2016 when I lost my 2 months old baby. Alhamdulillah for His Mercies.

Good afternoon house, please I really your advice on a very crucial matter. Hubby and I have only the Nikkah marriage certificate, change of name affidavit and newspaper publication, and our proposed court wedding has been slated for late January next year. The issue now is that, there’s a high probability of us getting an ITA in the next draw which is before the court wedding. Should we use married or common law partner in our profile, as the court marriage certificate is not yet available. Please all suggestions will be highly welcome and appreciated.

Good evening, what you have is sufficient. We used our Nikkah certificate for our application and there was no issue.

please I need your advice on the discussion I am trying to take. I am thinking about induction at 37 weeks tho I don’t have any health issues or complications but for personal reasons. Is it a good idea and is it advisable?
Though pregnancy is considered full term at 37 weeks, if you have to be induced for non - medical reason, let the baby cook fully (lol) before going for it (like 39 weeks). The patience of 2 weeks can save you the stress of lifetime if there is any complications arising from not being carried to term.

By sending an application to Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) info@frsc.gov.ng and attach a copy of your Driver's license.

Will FRSC respond or you will need a FRSC official to fast track the application?

Good morning all.. Please how do I manage this nausea sickly feeling? I feel like throwing up whenever my stomach is empty and I have no appetite for food, I can't eat anything and I can't drink water too cry
Please help me o, what do I do to stop this sickly feeling, I can't take drugs given to me bcs of the smell of the drugs.

Please, is there any problem with me not taking Folic acid? And pls is Fresh Yo yoghurt safe for me bcs that's d only thing I've been drinking for days now. Please help..
Sorry dear, its not easy. You can try crackers immediately you wake up. Pawpaw, iced tea without milk, iced coke helped to improve my appetite. I couldn't even take plain water till like 14 weeks cos I vomited water, you can imagine.
Also, try to take any food that you can eat in small bits before you get hungry.
There is no one size fits all, hang on, 1st trimester will soon be over.
Try to take your folic acid, ferrous and calcium. You can put inside swallow and draw soup, please try.

What about America homes? Or KLM?

KLM was recently approved by the Nigerian government and I understand they'll start flying again from December. We don't know yet what their rules will be as regards covid19 and carrying those with recent COPR.

Has anyone travelled with Turkish Airlines before? Do they require any covid-19 test? I'm sure now that Ethiopian Airways doesn't require the test if your destination is Canada but since Turkish is cheaper for me, I want to be very sure.

Many people have had negative experience with Turkish Airlines. The most common airlines without any hassle is Ethiopia and Egypt air.

Good day to all the belleful mummies and mummies to be.

Am here to register for my third missionary journey, am 11weeks today with symptoms of vomiting ( although this is gradually reducing) and spitting.
Please any recommendation to stop this spitting? I used warm water for my previous pregnancies but this one isn't accepting warm water at all.

Am team may, looking forward for the remaining team may belleful mummies.

I wish all of us a smooth journey and successful delivery amen.

For the spitting, bitter kola is the answer. Just chew small and leave in your mouth.

Belly measurement. Month back when scan was done. The doctor did say the baby was big and active. And even at the antenatal they said the baby is growing well until yesterday when the midwife said contrary.

Let her not stress when there is no issue.

Helo mamas...

I took ma wife to the Hospital yesterday. After she was complaining of pain just below the abdomen.

After she was discharged, she said the midwife who examined her said baby is small and asked if she is eating well.

Now, ma wife has been stressing on hearing that the baby is small.

38 week now.

And expected date 04/11.

Please any words, don't want her to continue stressing.

Madam should not over eat please. Let her eat balanced diet and not over-stress herself. She is almost at the finish line.
Was the assessment made after a scan or belly measurement?

pls my wife just deliver and we need to go and do the naming ceremony at Ibadan pls I need a good car that can take us from Lagos to ibadan anyone who can do it should pls contact me 07039502966 pls am not having much so don't charged me too high

In this era of soro soke, I will advise you do naming ceremony in your living room for the following reasons :
1. Exposing baby to harsh weather or winds while traveling in the car. Even if you wound up, the baby will still be exposed. One of my aunties regretted ever traveling with her new born baby cos the baby was always having one issue or the other.
2. Exposure to Covid.
3. Blockage of roads due to endsars protest. Ibadan can turn into a whole day journey.

My 2 cents.

Hi, I landed in march. You don't have to bring any documents, but if you have older children and can get their birth report/history from your doctor before coming, it'll help the OBGYN here.

Thanks a lot for the kind response.

Hello house,

I will be landing in January when I will be 5 months pregnant. What medical documents do I need to bring from Nigeria or will they conduct their own tests?
I just need someone to guide me through. Thanks.

Good day and happy sunday.

Disclaimer- this is not legal advice

I don’t know who this would apply to but pls if you are a domestic abuser- male or female pls just don't bother to come.

If you come and you do the stupid act - you would be brought to book. It is quite pathetic to see how many Nigerian domestic violence issues are occurring amongst newly landed immigrants.

This is not Nigeria. Police will not just drop the charges because the victim said they should. It is a crime against the Crown and it is highly sensitive here- Intimate Partner Violence.

PR does not make you immune from deportation. It has Immigration consequences- criminal inadmissibility may strip you off your PR status and lead to deportation.

I'm sure we all know how tasking this process is. Is it worth landing only to get deported after?

Zero tolerance for violence and abuse from any gender.

Take care

Hello people. I've started my journey to being a part of you guys here smiley
I want a career change as soon as I land in Canada, because of that I have enrolled for an online public health course in a top USA university. Am I on the right track please? This course isn't quite cheap smiley
Will the certificate be enough for me to kickstart something in the health line once I reach Canada? I mean like get a job, I can add one more certificate if need be.
Thank you guys

If the certificate is to work in Canada, then a Canadian certification will be better. But if its to gain points for express entry, then a US certification is ok.

Hallo, please is there any prospect for a zoology graduate with first class, hoping to do my Master's degree in Canada. What career can I start with in Canada, Nigeria is terrible and I studied a terrible course. I'm so angry with myself. Can I do my Master's in a course not related to zoology
Please don't be angry with yourself. Zoology might actually be a good profession in Canada because they value animals and nature.
I'm writing this post to encourage you. Thank God for this Canada journey.
