Technology Market / Frequently Asked Questions (faqs) Regarding The Federal High Court E-affidavit S by PriestBeMyName(m): 1:06pm On Sep 20
As the legal landscape in Nigeria evolves, digital innovations are reshaping the way many processes are carried out. One such development is the Federal High Court’s e-Affidavit system, which has revolutionized the way affidavits are processed. By introducing a seamless, digital approach, this platform not only increases efficiency but also bolsters document security.

For many, this shift to an online system brings several questions, so let's explore some of the most frequently asked questions about the e-Affidavit system, along with clear answers.

This was developed following users' posts on Nairaland as seen in the links below:
https://www.nairaland.com/8218143/how-get-verifiable-affidavit-online
https://www.nairaland.com/8177063/mind-blowing-experience-federal-high-courts

1. What is the Federal High Court e-Affidavit System?
The Federal High Court e-Affidavit system is an online platform that allows individuals and organizations to apply for and process affidavits without needing to physically visit the court. It aims to streamline the affidavit process by enabling applicants to complete the entire procedure digitally—saving time and reducing the risk of errors or fraudulent documents.
This digital solution also enhances security by providing each affidavit with a unique identification number or QR code, making it easier to verify the document’s authenticity.

2. How Do I Apply for an e-Affidavit?
The process of applying for an e-Affidavit is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started:
Step 1: Visit the official Federal High Court portal https://portal.fhc.gov.ng/ and create an account.
Step 2: Select the type of affidavit you require and complete the online application form. Be sure to enter the necessary details correctly to avoid any issues during the review process.
Step 3: Upload any supporting documents required for your application. This could include personal identification, case documents, or other relevant paperwork.

Step 4: Review your application thoroughly before submitting it, and make sure everything is accurate.
Step 5: Make the required payment online via the platform. After processing, your affidavit will be ready for download.
Once completed, you can download the digitally signed affidavit, which includes a unique identification number or QR code for verification.

3. How Long Does the e-Affidavit Process Take?
The length of time required to complete the e-Affidavit process depends on your familiarity with the system. First-time users may take around 30 minutes to an hour, especially during the registration and form-filling stages. However, for those who are familiar with the system, the process can typically be completed within 10 to 20 minutes.

This represents a significant improvement over the traditional affidavit process, which could involve lengthy court visits and manual paperwork.

4. What Are the Costs of Obtaining an e-Affidavit?
The cost of an e-Affidavit is generally ₦1,500. This fee covers the processing and issuance of the affidavit through the online platform. The platform accepts payments through a variety of methods, ensuring flexibility for users.

This fixed fee ensures affordability while maintaining the security and efficiency of the affidavit system.

5. How Can I Verify an e-Affidavit?
Each e-Affidavit issued comes with a unique identification number and a QR code. Verifying an e-Affidavit is simple:
Option 1: Enter the unique identification number on the Federal High Court’s verification portal.
Option 2: Scan the QR code on the affidavit with your smartphone. This will link directly to the document’s details, confirming its authenticity.

This feature provides users and stakeholders with confidence in the security of their documents and ensures that only genuine affidavits are recognized in legal or official proceedings.

6. What Are the Legal Implications of Submitting False Information?
When applying for an e-Affidavit, applicants must swear to the truthfulness of the information they provide. The e-Affidavit, like a traditional affidavit, is a sworn statement, and providing false information can have serious legal consequences.
If any information submitted is found to be false, the individual may face legal charges, including perjury, as the e-Affidavit system legally binds users to their sworn declarations.

7. Can I Complete the Entire Process Online, or Do I Need to Visit the Court?
Yes, the entire process of obtaining an e-Affidavit can be completed online. This includes submitting your application, making payments, and receiving the affidavit. For those who prefer or require in-person assistance, visits to the Federal High Court are still possible. However, the system is designed to allow users to complete everything digitally, from anywhere in Nigeria, ensuring greater convenience.

8. Are There Any Offline Alternatives?
You can walk into any of the Federal High Court divisions closest to you to do the entire process. this does not come with any extra charge. However, it is advisable to use the official online platform for a more convenient and cost-effective experience.

9. How Secure is the e-Affidavit System?
The e-Affidavit system incorporates several layers of security, including encryption and the use of unique QR codes for document verification. This minimizes the risk of fraud or forgery. The digital platform ensures that only legally binding, verifiable documents are issued, and the system’s design adheres to the highest standards of document security within Nigeria’s legal framework.

Summary
The Federal High Court e-Affidavit system is a game-changer for Nigeria’s legal processes, offering a more efficient, secure, and accessible method of obtaining legal affidavits. Technology Market / How To Get A Verifiable Affidavit Online In Nigeria Using The Federal High Court by PriestBeMyName(m): 7:42am On Sep 20
In today’s fast-paced world, ease and convenience are essential, especially when dealing with important legal documents like affidavits. The Federal High Court of Nigeria’s e-Affidavit system has been a game-changer, making the process of obtaining a verifiable affidavit more efficient and straightforward. Here’s a breakdown of how to navigate the system and get your affidavit without hassle.

1. Understanding the e-Affidavit System
The e-Affidavit system was introduced as part of the Federal High Court's push towards digital transformation. This system allows individuals to apply for, submit, and process affidavits online. It streamlines the traditionally manual process and enhances document security, reducing the risks of forgery and fraud.

2. Why Use the e-Affidavit System?
One key advantage is that it saves time. No longer do you need to visit a court physically and wait for hours. You can complete the application online and get it done within minutes. The document you receive is digitally verifiable, ensuring authenticity when submitted for official purposes. Plus, it's more secure because the system legally binds applicants to the truth of their statements.

3. How to Apply for an e-Affidavit
Here’s a simple guide to obtaining an e-Affidavit:
* Step 1: Register on the ECMS Portal
Visit the Federal High Court's ECMS (Electronic Court Management System) portal using https://portal.fhc.gov.ng/ You'll be required to create an account if you don’t already have one.
* Step 2: Complete the Application Form
Once logged in, navigate to the new application section. Choose the type of affidavit, fill in the necessary details, including your personal information, and any relevant documents that need to be attached.
* Step 3: Review and Submit
After filling out the form, take a moment to review your information carefully. Submitting false information is legally binding and could have serious consequences if discovered later.
* Step 4: Make Payment
You will be required to make a payment online for the affidavit to be processed. Once the payment is made, you will receive a confirmation, and your application will be queued for review.
* Step 5: Receive Your e-Affidavit
After processing, the e-Affidavit will be sent to your account dashboard. You can download it and use it immediately. The affidavit includes a unique verification code that can be checked by anyone seeking to confirm its authenticity.

4. Verifying the e-Affidavit
Each e-Affidavit issued comes with a unique identification number and QR code. Any organization or individual can easily verify the document's authenticity by entering the code on the ECMS portal or scanning the QR code. This gives you peace of mind, knowing your document is valid and protected against forgery.

Incorporating digital solutions like the e-Affidavit system into our daily processes is more than just about convenience; it’s about embracing a future where technology facilitates transparency, efficiency, and accountability. Whether you're in Lagos, Abuja, or anywhere else in Nigeria, you can now obtain a verifiable affidavit without the stress of long queues or delays.

To all professionals, organizations, and individuals who rely on affidavits, this is a major step forward!

Business / Keep Building; One Day, It Will Show by PriestBeMyName(m): 10:22am On Aug 15
Years ago, I read a LinkedIn post that concluded with the words “Keep building; one day, it will show.” Today, I encountered a similar post, a different story but with the exact same message.

This mantra has guided my career and personal growth, reminding me that progress is not always immediate, but it is inevitable when driven by dedication and perseverance. The journey in the professional world is often long and winding, filled with challenges that test our resolve. But it’s in these moments of perseverance that true success is forged.

Starting is the most important step. No matter how far the destination may seem, each small action—each decision to move forward—lays the groundwork for future success. In my experience, I’ve learned that the most significant achievements are often the result of consistent, quiet effort over time. It’s about building, one step at a time, with the faith that one day, all that work will materialize into something remarkable.

I’ve come to realize that progress doesn’t always come with immediate rewards or recognition. It’s a journey of constant learning, adaptation, and growth. But as we continue to build—whether it’s skills, relationships, or innovative solutions—we are preparing ourselves for the moments when our efforts finally pay off.

To everyone on a similar path: keep building, keep pushing, and keep believing. The road may be long, but the destination is worth every step.

Really, this is different then

Yes it is... I think the one you are referring to is that of the FCT High Court. And they still require you to come and finish the process in court. But this one. You have the option of going to the Federal High Court, or doing the complete process at home

The E-system has been on for some years now even before this present adminstration. There's even a barcode on the affidavit for confirmation .
Some of the court workers do it all on behalf of clients while charging some fees.

Well, this was just recently announced by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court. And the operation started July 1st I suppose

Well... that was because I was login in for the first time, plus the time it took for me to respond to the query. Ordinarily it shouldn't take up to 10mins, the entire process

Education / My Mind-blowing Experience With The Federal High Court's E-affidavit System by PriestBeMyName(m): 1:13pm On Aug 06
Guys, I just had the most amazing experience with the Federal High Court's new e-affidavit system, and I had to share it with you all. If you’re like me and have been dreading the usual hassle of getting an affidavit, brace yourself for some good news!

*First Things First: Logging In and Creating an Account

So, I hopped onto the Federal High Court's affidavit portal https://portal.fhc.gov.ng/. To be honest, I was expecting the usual complicated mess, but boy, was I wrong! I needed to create an account since it was my first time. They just asked for basic stuff like my name, email, and phone number. I filled it all in, hit submit, and bam – got a confirmation email instantly. Smooth and simple.

After logging in, I was taken to a dashboard with clear options. I clicked on 'Apply for New Affidavit,' and a form popped up. Now, this is where things usually get tedious, right? But not this time! The form was super easy to understand and fill out. They had clear instructions and little tips to guide you. I entered all the necessary details, uploaded my supporting document, and double-checked everything. I hit submit, made payments and sat back, expecting to wait forever. But guess what? Within a few minutes, I got a notification that my application was being reviewed.

Here’s where it gets cool. In less than 15 minutes, I got an email querying my uploaded signature from the Commissioner of Oath. I did exactly as I was instructed and resubmitted the form and in 7 minutes, I got another email for approval. I am truly amazed by the process. No need to go to the court. The efficiency was mind-blowing.

From start to finish, the whole process took less than 30 to 40 minutes. I am genuinely shocked at how efficient and user-friendly the system was. The Federal High Court has seriously outdone itself with this one.

Science/Technology / Tajiri; A Pan-african Project Poised To Drive African Economy Via Blockchain by PriestBeMyName(m): 12:57pm On Jul 16, 2021
[img][/img]

A digitally-driven project, “Tajiri” which is channelled towards empowering African youths and small scale businesses in Africa was recently launched in Lagos, Nigeria.

The initiative which is driven by the need to help the livelihoods of people especially young Africans, women and SMEs in Africa grow to the capacity in which they can drive the economy, aims at providing strategic solutions to the identified challenges Africa is facing.

Blessed with a population of about 1.3 billion people, huge natural resources, massive arable land and a youthful population, Africa is currently being ravaged by unrest, hunger and poverty – fueled by rising number of unemployed youth population, lack of opportunities and adequate support for businesses and start-up

Against this backdrop, the Tajiri team headed by Kabiru Abiola, highlighted five big problems that hinders majority of Africa’s small businesses from becoming financially free as; Cross Border Commerce Constraint, Financial Exclusion, Poor Infrastructure and Support for Businesses, Poverty and Rising Rate of Unemployment as well as Limited Global Digital Economic Integration

These problems have brought about the need for the socioeconomic empowerment project named ‘Tajiri’, which in Swahili means wealth, hope or riches depending on the context it is being used.

The Tajiri Project team is building a ‘Tripod Pillar’ to combat the identified major problems of the African economy as earlier mentioned. One of such is, ‘The Tajiri Financial System (Backbone)’, which aims to provide solutions that will facilitate ‘cross-border trading and exchange of value’ as well as financial inclusion.

[img][/img]

They are also building the Tajiri Digital Economy Enterprise Lab’ which is aimed at facilitating digital economy integration for young entrepreneurs, women and small businesses in Africa. This is a deliberate approach towards building an enterprise lab that will develop solutions and platforms; which will enable anyone monetize their skills, knowledge, experience and passion as well as help small business owners go digital. Connecting them to finance, markets and professional support.

The last but not least part of the project plan is ‘The Tajiri Industrial City’ which aims at combating infrastructure issues, as well as the massive unemployment rate using the ‘Grid model’. This means that Tajiri Ecosystem will be having mini-industrial estates and business cluster grid for different industrial sectors across Africa, building platforms and foundations that will stimulate industrial revolution across Africa. The industrial estate and business cluster grid– will host and incubate businesses and accelerate start-ups.

The Tajiri project is built on blockchain technology, as the project team wants it to be a truly decentralized ecosystem, one Africans can do business amongst themselves, have access to and own a stake in, wherever they are in the continent. It shall be powered by a hundred billion units of Tajiri tokens called “TAJI, created on the “Binance” blockchain network which shall be the primary medium of exchange in the ecosystem as well as a representation of stake-holding in the project. Holders of Tajiri tokens shall also enjoy regular dividend emission.

The team believe that TAJIRI, being the first of its kind in Africa and indeed the world, will have mass appeal and a very fast adoption rate, therefore encourage Africans to quickly take advantage of what the project stands to offer especially now that the project is giving away some of their tokens via the telegram app. All interested participants can take advantage by clicking on the activation link below https:///tajiri_bot

Technology Market / How Digitally Driven Solution Will Solve Major Economic Problems In Nigeria by PriestBeMyName(m): 2:26pm On Jul 08, 2021
A digitally-driven project, “Tajiri” which is channeled towards empowering African youths and small-scale businesses in Africa was recently launched in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Tajiri initiative is driven by the need to help the livelihoods of people especially young Africans, women, and SMEs in Africa grow to the capacity in which they can drive the economy.

Head of the Tajiri Project team, Mr. Kabiru Abiola, in a presentation held on Sunday, July 4, 2021, mentioned that “to solve all other problems of Africa, we need to first solve the economic problem. It is easier to do business with people outside the African continent than countries within Africa because there are problems of cross-border payments and remittances, he lamented.” We are in an economy that should better help people's livelihood however, people wake up and resume on the roads as beggars.

He also mentioned that there is a need for Africans to do more business amongst themselves and access better finance to be able to build on whatever skills or ideas they have harnessed. The main objective of the project is to provide long-lasting solutions to Africa’s Economic problems through youth empowerment and providing support to small-scale businesses for them to grow.

Abiola highlighted five big problems that hinder the majority of Africans from becoming financially free; Cross Border Commerce Constraint, Financial Exclusion, Poor Infrastructure and Support for Businesses, Poverty and Rising Rate of Unemployment, and Limited Digital Economic Integration. According to him, the limitations in digital integration in the economy seem to be pertinent amongst the major problems which the Nigerian economy has at the moment.

These problems have brought about the need for the economic empowerment project named ‘Tajiri’, a Swahili word that means wealth, hope, or riches depending on the context it is being used.

He further stated, that World Bank estimates Africa’s economic value at 2.6trillion dollars as at the last valuation, and this value is estimated to hit 5.6trillion dollars in the next five years. But, that will not happen if the people just sit back and do nothing to accelerate the economy better than what it is at the moment.

It was explained that every nation’s economy is driven by their small businesses, hence the need to focus on start-up entrepreneurs and small businesses. The Tajiri project is driven by Blockchain technology, as the project team wants it to be decentralized so anyone from the 54 countries in Africa can have access and own a stake in the project from wherever they are in the continent. Tajiri is a community-driven project; a project by Africans for Africa.

Kabiru in his statement however explained that the project will be starting in Nigeria; gradually extend to and change the other parts of the continent.

The Tajiri Project team built a ‘Tripod Solution’ to combat the identified major problems of the African economy as earlier mentioned. One of the solutions being proffered is, ‘The Tajiri Financial System (Backbone)’, which is built to address the problem of financing, improve digital integration, and enhance cross-border transactions across the continent.

The Tajiri Financial system aims to provide a solution to one of the biggest problems facing businesses in Africa, which is, ‘cross-border trading’; To provide a platform where Africans can do business amongst themselves through a financial resource that will help grow their businesses.

It will also help African youths, women, and small business owners have unlimited access to the opportunities available in the emerging global digital economy and establish an economy in which good infrastructure thrives and enhance the smooth flow of business operations.
The second system of the tripod is ‘The Tajiri Digital Enterprise Economy (Lab)’. This is built to facilitate digital economy integration for young entrepreneurs, women, and small businesses in Africa. The team is deliberately building an enterprise lab in order to develop solutions and make it easy, especially for content creators to monetize and maximize their income, business owners to automate their businesses, and every African to have a source of passive income, providing them access to bigger markets, digital solutions that tackle economic issues and ultimately making more money.

Another tripod system that will be adopted to combat infrastructure issues, as well as the massive unemployment rate, is the ‘The Tajiri Industrial City’ using the ‘Grid model’. This means that they will be building mini industrial estates for different industries across Africa providing state-of-the-art infrastructure with the aim of taking a huge chunk of the bottlenecks off the shoulders of Africa’s entrepreneurs in effect reducing drastically cost of producing world-class goods.

The team’s job will be to coordinate and build the structures and enable entrepreneurs to carry out their activities. A fashion design entrepreneur, for example, can walk into an estate of his or her industry and rent all she/he needs to sew clothes for a token; which means the entrepreneur doesn’t necessarily have to own a shop or tools to carry out his or her business of the day. All these solutions will come together simultaneously to solve the economic issues of the continent.

THE PRODUCTS
One of the Products the platform is building is called ‘CREATAJ’. It is designed to empower people by monetizing their skills, knowledge, experience, and passion. It will also improve the rate at which people can use digital content to earn a living in Africa. Another product on the platform shall be “SMETAJ”, which is especially for small business owners. It aims at simplifying and automating business processes for easy evaluation, storage, and retrieval of business information.

All these activities and indeed the entire Tajiri ecosystem shall be powered by the Tajiri token called “TAJI”. A hundred billion units of TAJI (100 billion) has been created on the “Binance” blockchain network and shall be the primary medium of exchange in the ecosystem as well as a representation of stake-holding in the project, while “Mtaj” which represents the value of dividend emission on a regular basis shall be distributed to all TAJIRI token holders as at when due. Holders of TAJIRI tokens can also trade or provide their tokens to earn more returns on the ecosystem’s centralized and decentralized exchanges “TAJIREX” and “TAJCASH” respectively.

The Tajiri team which include Mr. Michael Adeyemi and Fred Lawanson expressed their optimism that TAJIRI, being first of its kind in Africa and indeed the world, will have mass appeal and a very fast adoption rate, therefore encouraged people to quickly take advantage of what the project is offering by making use of the products and acquiring as many of the tokens as possible for themselves. They however cautioned that such decisions be done from a place of knowledge that can be accessed online and specifically from their website https://gotajiri.com/ito and social media handles.

Health / Gospel Artist To Lead Abuja Community In Lake Clean Up by PriestBeMyName(m): 8:48am On Jun 20, 2021
[img][/img]
A top gospel artist that champions healthy environment and community development in Nigeria is Toluwanimee, whose real name is Toluwanimi Ibiso Eleoramo. At 7am next Saturday June 26 this year 2021, she will be leading residents and fishermen of Jabi community through a program called MERCY PROJECT, to clean up the Jabi decongested lake in Abuja area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

For residents and fishermen of this community, Jabi lake serves as their major means of livelihood among other things that grows the community. Hence, this clean up will not only boost their daily income but will also save them from deadly reptiles and diseases like Malaria.

It is, therefore, to contribute her quota that Toluwanimee in conjunction with African Centre for Environmental Protection (ACEP) - a not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organisation in Nigeria powered by Kohath Group, will lead the residents in Jabi community in this fun and healthy exercise.

For the artist, there is no better way to promote a cleaner and healthier community than by volunteering to tackle out-of-control waste and unhealthy waste habits. "Join me and our fellow community members as we work to throw away bad waste habits," she enjoined

This environmental cleanup and health management awareness programme will build a better and healthier environment and ensure residents are safe from communicable diseases.

While also noting that the exercise would save residents from some deadly reptiles that breed in the area, the soulful singer added that it would also help to develop the community.

First, she continued, we will work with the local fishermen in the community to do a thorough cleanup of the surroundings and the water body, which serves mainly as their major means of livelihood.

Meanwhile the artist highlighted the importance of sustainability. According to her, they would sensitise the locals and others from the neighbouring community on the need to maintain a dirt-free environment and to adopt proper waste disposal culture.

Toluwanimee, therefore, implored the government, organisations, and individuals to help with equipment and facilities that would aid maintenance of the environment, enhance businesses, and boost the Gross Domestic Products of the country.

Olamide’s YBNL newly signed Artist has stolen the MSEGang Record Label Beat

Davolee – Cirocing [New Song] (Prod. by Young John) is a stolen beat.
The original and legal owner of the beat is Ballzee… an artist signed under the record label of the MSEGang The beat produced by Young John for the MSEGang Ballzee has been sold out again to the YBNL Olamide and his newly signed Davolee.

After listening to the song Cirocing by Davolee, one cannot but see that this beat is a stolen beat. It sad we now having thieves on our music industry. Same beat Young John was paid to produce is been stolen or resold to Olamede and his crew.

See Instagram Video of young John creating the beat in the studio in 2016

No one could ever believe Olamide and his crew could have stolen someone’s beat. Why not him buy off the beat instead? Too bad.
