People tend to get confused with this transit visa of a thing. One needs a transit visa if ure leavn d airport and its valid for 3days most of the time. I Traveled via Italy from UK before, I wasn't askd for it because I wasn't leavn d airport. I stand to be corrected though.

Yea slow and steady wins d race. Nope, heading for Melbourne. Planned to move this month, but IOM Australia said early August is fully booked, let alone July. Still waiting on Abikoye, but not expecting anything new.

Thinking Ethiopian airline to Malaysia, which cost N272k for a family of 3. There are really no flights to Singapore via Ethiopian airline. Unfortunately Jetstar will move before we arrive in Malaysia and takes 14hrs going thru Perth. Airasia will cost N154k with no add ons and move 4hrs after we arrive and its duration is 7hrs 30mins direct flight to Melbourne. But remember d Airasia saga... LOL.

I emailed IOM Australia at first and I got a replied of "unfortunately no more available booking for July" dat was afta 2days. So I emailed Abikoye and I got a booking estimate but d date not convenient. Still waiting for an update of a convenient date frm her sha.

Hello house so I did my medicals on Wednesday and submitted my application on thursday. I got an email from Dr Fatayi Williams that my medicals has been submitted to Global health sydney and I should follow up d submission. My question is how do follow up and secondly how will I be notified of my visa decision? The whole thing seems disjointed(no website to monitor the progress of ur visa application).

You don't really av to follow up, if there's any issue with ur medicals ur CO will contact u.
You will get ur visa grant in ur email pretty soon. Good luck

Yes u can still make it. I got my grant within a week. Package all ur application doc very well and make sure u frontload ur medical.. Good luck.

Try check USC.. University of the Sunshine Coast if they offer d program. Tuition affordable (around 11k per semester). Free OSHC. Best of luck..

How fare bro, here is my suggestion - look up online for a cheap motel/hotel or temporary accommodation for say, 3-4 days. Within that 3-4 days, you should be able to get a more stable accommodation particularly in a house share - I'm assuming you are coming in as a single student. Gumtree is a good website to look on. Good luck with your search.

There was no delay.. I applied MAY 6, and I got my visa grant MAY 13. Yes I did my medicals bfor I applied.
