The robber lover, however, remained unrelenting as he shot into the air when it became obvious that those chasing him were catching up with him. The gunshot that was meant to create panic did not yield its desired result as those chasing after him intensified the hot chase.

akinnux:

Nigeria is a huge joke. Why award these governors bonus term in the first place? I believe the only way to make this judgement reasonable is to make those governors fully account for their stewardship during the illegal period they occupied the office and to also refund the illegal salaries and allowances they collected.

u got it right man Nigeria is a huge joke.

Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Un Commends Jonathan, As Eu Passes Vote Of Confidence by PrinceDudu(m): 9:17pm On Jan 06, 2012
micklplus:

EU is looking to recolonise Africa indirectly through pressurising African governments to remove fuel subsidy with a view to solving European and American economic problems regardless of the negative impact on the poor African.
They need to sell their goods and increase import receipts in other to climb out of recession. Removal of subsidies will serve to increase domestic prices giving rise to inflation which will weaken our (African) currencies further and since African countries are net importers of goods; luxury goods, petro-chemicals, capital, semi capital, etc goods, African oil producing countries will pay more money for importing the same quantity of goods and that would help finance European recovery projects.
The UN, IMF, World Bank, etc are primarily interested in the economic recovery of the West over and above the possible negative impact of fuel subsidy removal to the poor masses in oil-producing African countries including Nigeria.

well said ma broda.
Politics / Re: Pictures Of Protest In Benin City South-south by PrinceDudu(m): 3:17pm On Jan 05, 2012
@LeoMax

QED you said, when you and i know what has been happening over and over again in the last 15 to 20 years and even more. the  syndicates and the so called cartel find it convenient to import fuel because of the mega dollar profit they make out of importing this product, they make sure that the refineries don’t work, sabotaging or by ensuring that the maintenance is not done. what do you think would happen to those giving the license to operate?.
Politics / Re: Pictures Of Protest In Benin City South-south by PrinceDudu(m): 2:34pm On Jan 05, 2012
LeoMax:

It defies all intelligence how people want Feds to pay subsidy and keep price permanently on 65 naira despite changing prices at the World market. Even if a barrel of oil costs less than 50 dollars and price of PMS goes to $300 government must pay subsidy. Its obviously absurd !

wouldn't it have been better if GEJ  reduced cost of running his government & we also check the take home pay of our so called leaders in every spare. i mean, since his plans is all about having more funds for infrastructural development. a little here, a little there would not hurt anybody u knoowww.

It is sad that a human being could be brain washed into thinking their life is that worthless and they can be made to cause harm to their fellow being. too bad it is not the sponsors of this acts the ones caught in the scenes. I can't say any more than that right now we need to see more sponsors/patrons arrested.

wellheads:

I am really surprised at the attention that is been accorded to this slowpoke called Beaf. His name already suggests that he beafs everyone because he is not privileged to have a straight faculty of reasoning like you guys. Just because GEJ is favouring one of the retardeens from his village, he is coming here to insult people. I don't engage such people intellectually because they have absolutely nothing to offer, just like GEJ.

By the way, how come a racism like Beaf is quoting a hausa man from Kd? Thought he said they should be wiped out of the map or so, sometimes ago? Anyway na him business sha. Can any sane man have such racist comments as his footnote on his profile? God!

Guy, cool down for this beaf guy, its all a matter of opinions here. the guy want to go with GEJ then fine let him be. its just too obvious that the beaf guy is not part of us anymore or has probably been away for too long and forgotten  how our so called leaders behave down here.
