Politics / Probe Aiyedatiwa’s Alleged Certificate Forgery, Ondo Aspirant Petitions APC by princejr(m): 2:19pm On Apr 09
A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Gbenga Edema, on Monday pleaded with the National Chairman of the party, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, and the National Working Committee to investigate the certificate forgery allegation levelled against Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The appeal was contained in a petition made available to journalists in Abuja.

The plea comes few hours after a legal practitioner, Oladotun Hassan, similarly petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Police Service Commission over an alleged move by a top-ranking police officer to tamper with the report of an ongoing probe into the academic credential of the governor; an allegation that
Aiyedatiwa’s lawyer has since refuted.

Addressing newsmen on Monday, Edema said he was not deliberately petitioning the party leadership out of envy.

According to him, if the party fails to duly vet Aiyedatiwa’s credentials before clearing him for the primary, they may likely witness a repeat of the drama that led to the disqualification of Bayelsa APC Governorship Candidate, David Lyon, who was sent packing by the Supreme Court for a similar offence after winning the poll.

He said, “You will recall that the Supreme Court of Nigeria in the year 2019 annulled the election of David Lyon and his running mate as the duly elected Governor and Deputy Governor respectively on the ground of eligibility. The Supreme Court found as a fact that the running mate, Senator Degi-Eremienyo presented a forged document to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

“It is against this background that I wrote a letter to the chairman of the credentials/document vetting committee of the APC which the party set up, to critically look at the credentials which His Excellency, Lucky Ayedatiwa submitted.

“The reason for my information to the committee is not borne out of any animosity or ill-will towards Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa or any person but to save the party and the entire APC members in Ondo State from the perdition that befell our members in Bayelsa State from which they are yet to recover.

“Accordingly, I wrote the advisory to the leadership of the party knowing that if due diligence is not followed, any lapse in the screening process would spell doom for the party as the issue of fake certificate is both a pre-election and post-election matter.

“Therefore, it would be suicidal to field a candidate that carries so much baggage and later lose to the opposition party through the Court. Infact, we have it on good authority, that the PDP aspirants, knowing these facts, are praying fervently that the APC fields Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa as its candidate in the forth-coming Ondo State gubernatorial election.”

Earlier, The PUNCH reported that the governor, through his lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN) debunked the claim, saying Aiyedatiwa sat for the West African School Certificate Examination and his results were genuine.

In a letter addressed to Oladotun on Monday, Adegboruwa disclosed that some conscious steps had been taken to confirm the allegations against the governor, which later turned out to be untrue.
Consequently, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria demanded that a public apology be published in three major newspapers and an immediate withdrawal of the publications made regarding the governor’s certificate.

He also demanded compensation for the false publications made against the governor.

Investment / Earn #150k Monthly When You Invest #1.5 Million by princejr(m): 12:44pm On Jan 14, 2019
I run a business consulting and investment solution firm. My company is duly registered with CAC, and I have over time consulted for different business startups and also managed investment for different Nigerians both home and abroad.

WHAT ARE YOU INVESTING INTO

Wood business in Nigeria is lucrative, but it requires good capital and a lot of knowledge in the common practices of the business. Processed wood is used for various purposes across the country both in construction and furniture making, thus making it in high demand, which goes to say that the wood supply business is favorable and profitable.

This investment is on the processing of wood blades for supply. The production facility (sawmill) is located at Ofosu, Idanre LGA, Ondo State.

WHY INVEST?

Guaranteed Monthly Returns on Investment (ROI)
The Sawmill has a large order request from buyers at the moment that cannot be met because of production capacity. Funds from investor will be used to increase production capacity to meet these demands. Investor will be paid monthly return for the duration of the contract.

Capital is guaranteed
If the investor decides he/she wants to terminate contract (after a minimum of Six (6) months), a month notice is expected and your capital sum will be refunded.

Legal document to be signed
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be developed by lawyers acceptable to both parties and would be legally binding on both parties.

MODALITY OF INVESTMENT AND PLAN

The minimum amount that can be invested is #1.5 Million (One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira).
Investors will have the opportunity to visit production site to visibly ascertain where and what their funds will be used for before deciding if they want to go ahead with the investment.

You can invest into an existing business looking to expand to meet up client demands. Minimum investment sum is #1.5 Million. You earn 10% Monthly returns on your investment. If and when you want to pull out, you give 1-2 month notice and you get your capital back. For the benefit of doubt for those who believe every business is a scam, the business is wood processing. I'm only opened to people who understand that businesses like this and full details can't be discussed on a platform like Nairaland. We prefer to meet, discuss, show you what is on ground and what will be achieved within set period and leave you with the task to do your background check and see if you are interested.

I would like to share with you a viable business opportunity that is available to savvy investors. Wood business is good business if you know the in and out of it. You don't need to own a sawmill before making money from wood/plank business. With construction always going on and furniture always being produced, your investment is guaranteed in this business.

The Opportunity:

There is a sawmill in Ofosu, very close to Ore in Ondo state that will be used for this business opportunity.
We will buy 4 x 12 planks, take to this sawmill and process to 1 x 12 planks and sell to ready buyers. I will be giving out full details and figure below.

Normally in the timber business, to operate you must join the timber traders organization and quite a number of things are involved as well. But for this particular opportunity, all that has been taking care of. The sawmill owner already have the buyers waiting he will take care of all the logistics and ensure production is always done. Profit sharing agreement will be made to cater for all parties. Production continues for the period of time agreed upon and profit is shared as agreed.

The figures:

Normally you will buy the 4 x 12 inches plank @ #1600-#1700 per plank. When you process it to 1 x 12 inches plank and sell, you make a profit of #500 per plank. For a truck load of 1 x 12 inches plank, you need to process 500 units of 4 x 12 inches plank.
1x12 at the sawmill is sold for #800-#850 depending on cost of purchase and processing of the 4x12. You get 3 units of 1x12 from every 4x12 processed.

@ a profit of #500 per plank. Total profit made on a truck load sale is #250,000. And one can sell between 2-3 trucks a month as long as production is going on.

Cost of processing is tagged around #300-#350 per plank.

What next?

If you are interested, go through the figures make your calculations and contact me on my number

Thank you very much , but what will be your own gain from this business, and again for those that want to come down are they going to stay for 3 weeks or what. Thanks... I'm also interested and will call you

I always advice that you get a Project Manager to assist for the first trip‎/transaction.

If you are coming down, you don't have to stay for 3 weeks. You come in at the point of booking for the Palm fruits (You are able to negotiate), then you come back when the oil is being milled so that you can monitor the sale. Your Project Manager will be your eyes and ears during the project.

Subsequently, since you now have local contacts, you can do other transactions on your own, you just monitor through phone calls. You come in at booking time, and at point of sale.

Let me share with my fellow nairalanders another fantastic view of this business.

If you are the business savvy type that buys palm oil for storage, you can maximize your profit buying the palm fruits and process to palm oil.

Let's do a quick calculation.
Currently, 25ltr keg sells between N10,500 - N11,500 depending on location.
If you buy your fruits and mill, with N120,000 you get 14 kegs. And you also get Palm Kernel that you can sell and make between N36,000 - N40,000 from.

Your cost per keg is lower than N9,000 and you make extra cash by the side selling your palm kernel.

This is what I call 'Win-Win'

Profit can range between N65,000 - N75,000 depending on the season. Remember you are selling both the palm oil and other products from the palm fruit which includes the palm kernel nut as well.

Risk like in any business of buying and selling, and service delivery include:
1. Getting quality palm fruit from the the farmers
2. Ensuring the mill doesn't short change you both in quality and quantity of the palm oil
