Family / Re: My Man Thinks That The Money He Earns Is His And Not Ours by Prinzofparis: 7:26am On Jan 29, 2017

My sister, 1yr and half? it's Buhari's economy.
Everyone is getting worked up, we're not getting value for our money and hardwork.

We should be more bothered 'bout how you can make some money, while still having time for you baby.

Modified: it seems you really want us to blame the man, and we have refused...lols. Okay, his money is una money, but you have a better idea of what he earns_ less the incessant hike in prices of recurrent expenditure from it and you'll understand why he is angry.
Have you bothered to ask what he thinks he should have achieved? Maybe he planned buying a land in 2016, this is 2017, no land-no savings. Men naturally get angry when they are not meeting their target.

I didn't advise you to jump back into teaching because the average teaching jobs doesn't pay that much. It may not give your family's financial condition the required boost. There are so many things you can do from home to earn better than the average teacher. If you really want a career in teaching, you can do certification(s) while at home, that way...you'll be relevant upon your return.

rare gem, with this post, I can say you are one very smart rational Lady. #nice.... spoke my mind

Don't worry, we will all cross over. It will soon be over. When we are in, we will know what went wrong, what is wrong and what will go wrong and we will someday be in positions to stop things from going wrong. Let's just stay positive.

don't worry bro,,...you would ditch all this optimism and join majekdom2 very soon...give or take, 60 days, then u will start seeing things from his point of view.

NLNG has messed this entire process up already.

im from uniben too n I logged into their portal as directed, but all I saw was course study that showed my courses from year1&2 with the without the grades. don't know if that's how d unofficial transcript looks like or not and also if I can send that one.?

check well, there's a place under student profile, u will see something like study course...select each year to view the result for that year

Thank you very much for this. Yea, I already filled and saved the leadership form on my desktop. It's a PDF file. My NYSC and o'level certificates are saved in JPEG format. You think I can just go ahead with the merge PDF files like you said?

for unofficial transcripts that are in different documents, u can merge them into a single file...is, 100level, 200l, 300l etc...

for the other documents, I will advice u upload them separately with the name described in the McKinsey mail....that is your mail will be having like 3 of 4 attachments.

Am thinking of scanning them all too but is there a way to place them in a single pdf file? Or how do we make them in one attachment .

Also does the leadership form need to be printed out coloured?

merge PDF files online ...just google merge PDF files and upload d separate files, it will generate a single merged PDF file containing all files in different pages.

the leadership form is like a document where u can edit using your computer.

Thanks bro. I have it now....100l to finals.

good one, .oya do the needful na...

when answering/filling the leadership form, you can answer the situational question by using the STARL (situation, task, action, result and learning) approach. might help make it easier and more organized.

success bro.

Thanks bro. I've tried that and it worked but the email I'm talking about here was opened when I was still in secondary school and I don't use it anymore. I can't remember my password I used then. I'll send year 1 and 2 transcript I have. I hope they accept it.

I think its better you get the results from 3 to final and send too to be on d safe side...u can get it, type and convert to PDF and send...recession, jobs are scarce,...worse good jobs are veeeeery scarce and mckinsey is definitely a top job. ma guy no risk am!!..go d extra mile...

Hey bro. Finished from Uniben as well. Kindly fill me in on updates regarding the response from the portal admin please. I have my login details but it's not going through. Please, quote me when you have info. Thanks

Uniben.waeup.org click on log in top left, then click on forgot password or something like that. then use ur student I'd or matrix number and email u used to register back then...a link will be sent to u where u can print your results. Unfortunately, I am not sure final year will be available.

Uniben transcripts take like forever if you don't have someone pushing things for u.

if he is going to stay in the house for at least a year and he likes d idea of tiles over carpet or rugs, its worth it. there's nothing there if you tile a house u would live in for some time.

by the way, building could be his.

Suddenly all the ghost followers have come to flesh with the realisation that there's now lil to zero information - after having soaked up so much and giving back nothing. Now forced to register on the thread and throw caution to the wind with blatant postings of pins on thread to get "in" on the action on bbm. Most will likely migrate to the group(s) and continue to observe with little to zero contributions.... #interesting
