johnnyvid: Lol you forgot to tell her how their nations economy is in the hands of the whites. The infrastructure and every good thing you see in that nation is the hardwork of those whites living with them. Their blacks are very lazy, irresponsible and jealous. The only thing their men knows how to do is to drink alot. In that nation, when going out after 7pm is a great risk. |

Obi1kenobi: It doesn’t work out mr man! In alot of nations across the world it is the same situation but it doesn’t make their other cities poor or under developed. If you ask most people about cities in USA, majority will mention only New York, a few can mention along with maybe Los Angeles or Houston. In china, most know only shanghai but Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenyang are all big cities too, in SA, most people know only Johannesburg, in UK, London maybe because of EPL, some might know Manchester or Liverpool. Germany, Frankfurt, kenya - Nairobi, S.korea - Seoul, Japan- Tokyo, Canada- Toronto, UAE- Dubai, Russia - moscow .. they are alot it’s just the norm mr man! When you want to argue, argue with facts and also be objective 1 Like |

My comment here about this whole issue about comparing both countries is this. ThankGod i have been to both countries. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Its left for you to accept which you view as being a better nation. Firstly the issue of corruption is in both nations but higher in Nigeria due to the enormous wealth in the nation (crude oil). Ghana has a lesser population than Nigeria, and fewer tribes/ethnicities than Nigeria. Any nation with a large population, and diversity like nigeria is bound to face such kind of problems facing nigeria today because you find different people with different interests. About development, i think despite corruption, Nigeria is far ahead of ghana, in Ghana aside accra and kumasi, most of their other cities remain poor and rural. Compared to nigeria where by almost all the 36 states now have universities and airports with a few good looking buildings even though there is mismanagement but this is everywhere. Now military, nigeria has by far a stronger military than their Ghanian counterparts, I doubt if a country like ghana could cope with an issue like boko haram if it was in their borders. One major thing i noticed about both citizens is that Nigerians happen to be very unpatriotic unlike their Ghanian brothers. But when you talk of the people, i believe Nigerians are more hardworking than Ghanians in my own point of view, other sectors like entertainment and sports, for that we all know there is no base of comparison, nigeria takes this ones. For education, ghana has a relatively better education than Nigeria. Then economy, i think here also there is no base of comparison, lagos state alone in Nigeria can be compared with the Ghanian economy. 1 cedi being stronger than even the yuan (¥) does not still make Ghanian economy stronger than the chinese. Mind you despite that, food is more expensive in ghana, just a bottle of water in ghana can buy you almost 3 bags of pure water in Nigeria, Ghana depends on food exports from Nigeria also. Both countries share same issues of unemployment and poverty among a percentage of their population..For crimes, it is everywhere but higher in nigeria maybe due its relatively higher population than ghana, so that is much expected. About electricity, don’t be misinformed. Even in ghana electricity goes off atimes but it is still better than in Nigeria. In conclusion, in my own opinion, despite the challenges, i think for now Nigeria is ahead. My advice is nigerian media houses should learn to portray the good side of their nation than bad, I think they are part of the problems nigeria faces. Also Nigerians need to be more patriotic, united. Your major challenges for now are corruption, security and some sort of political instability. For the Ghanaians, you should love and embrace your neighbours, you are also getting there. Keep it up 7 Likes |

firstking01: why do you like saying what you don't know? he has been married to his first wife (now ex) for a long time even before he transferred to leister city. now they are divorced, he has a new wife. so what is wrong in that?? or do you prefer him having an affair with her out of wedlock?? secondly, you are only good in criticizing him, why cant you congratulate him for his chieftaincy title first? after all you were happy and busy celebrating when ibori, an ex convict/corrupt politician was given a title when he returned...and bukola saraki too then when he was facing charges for false asset declaration, smh... this guy built a sports facility center in his state with his hard earned money over 500 million, you cant praise that. let me ask you, which one has your governor built in your state even with the taxes you are paying or of what way has any player from your home town who plays abroad has impacted the lives of your people.............mr man you really need to be objective when criticizing . have a nice day!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

binaflexia: There are possibilities of an interview because I witnessed it when they asked one guy to come back after 3 days for an interview but I don't know maybe he paid the other processing fee of 27k or so. But for me, I did not do any interview. Just gave the man my documents, he went through them, gave me a paper which I filled, it was for legalization, then he submitted the paper, then they sent another paper back again stating how much my bill was, it was 61050 . Then I paid, he gathered my documents along with the money and submitted. I waited for like 10mins, they sent a paper back which was for my visa pick up. That was all. Don't forget to get a sponsorship letter signed by your sponsor. The name of your sponsor should be thesame with the one on your bank statement. 1 Like |

@homeboy232 I am not saying it is not easy to get a new passport. But thinking you can outsmart them is not possible. If you have committed any crime with your previous passport, they will know as the new E- passport has previous passport number on the datapage along with new passport number. You can ask people who have done passport renewal within this year. And you can't your previous passport number from them even if you can't produce your previous passport. They will get the number from your finger prints and your finger prints is yours alone. Not even twins have the same finger prints. Lastly embassies no longer stamp a rejection on ones passport. Only maybe all this under developed nations embassies. US,UK, china and so many nations I know use biometrics. They have your finger prints and they have your data on their system that is all. Why police deportation is gotten in one day is nothing of crime. It is a simple process. They just get your biometrics and see if you have been deported or not same tp character to see if you are an ex convict or not. Like I said your finger prints is for you alone. So no need for over screening. It is a thing of 1-5 minutes. And if you have any problem, criminal investigation department will not clear you as it is affiliated to interpol. Which means if you escape naija, you can't escape interpol. The world is gradually becoming an unsafe heaven for criminals. |

CzarRex: Ukraine and russia are having serious diplomatic problem. Infact I care is not taken, it could plunge the two nations Into war. So you don't have to worry. Besides the reason you gave for your rejection i.e incomplete documents and insufficient funds. There are possibilities that your circumstance has changed and both embassies have different requirements. I 10m is insufficient for ukraine, that does not apply to russia, they can choose to accept you like that. If your documents were incomplete then, no might not be same and besides their requirements are different .theres nothing to worry about there. |

homeboy232: Change of passport is not done without genuine reasons. Even if you do it. Now the E-passport has previous passport number on the data page. Even if one lies that it is Either lost or burnt and that has to come with police report. And when you do biometrics, they will get your previous passport number using your finger prints and it will be placed on your data page. One just can't escape now. |

CzarRex: Hello, the questions asked during a visa (student) interview from personal experience are general questions like why the country, course, school, who your sponsor is and so on. Also, to the question of if they will know of a visa rejection. That depends. If the rejection was stamped on your passport as it is done in the past then obviously they will know if they go through your passport pages. But if it is not stamped, then that depends on which country's embassy rejected you. For example if the US embassy rejected you, even on the basis of being a threat to national security, I don't think they will share that's intelligence with the russian federation. Because their diplomatic relationship is not that strong. But if US rejects you, then obviously countries like UK, canada, France and other western allies will likely know because there is intelligence sharing between them. But if you were rejected by a strong russian ally like china or belarus, then there are chances that the russian embassy will be aware. My advice is just be truthful, and prayerful. Everything works with the will of God. All the best in your interview. |

elijah101: Not necessarily alagbon. I did my own in kaduna state police command. Just go to www.npf.gov.ng/character and fill it online and then take the print out to the state you are residents police command and do your biometrics. Or you can just go to the police command in your state and tell dem you want to do it. It took less 48 hours and I got my own. It is only if you are in a hurry that you need that alagbon but if not, save your self the cost of travelling to lagos 2 Likes 1 Share |

wizdavee: Yeah no swift there but for mine, what i did was when writing the beneficiary's address, i wrote it in full then gave a space and placed the swift code there e.g (number 5 gra ikeja lagos, nigeria. Swift:sgdjdjd) that is an example of how i did mine. Then same to the intermediary bank, wrote the name, address and account number along with swift e.g (ABC bank number 5 gra ikeja lagos nigeria account number 1234567890 swift code:asdfgjkd). Then that place they asked for sort code, I put the beneficiary's swift code there |
Travel / Re: North Cyprus by Professor554: 9:38pm On Aug 12, 2016 |
wizdavee: Firstly, ask them at the bank if it is possible to transfer everything in your dorm account and leave it at 0. If that is possible then when filling the form, after filling all necessary details (ordering customer, beneficiary name, address, account number, swift code along with intermediary bank details if there is any then when it comes to account number, for principal charges, put the dorm account number then for commission/telex charge and so on put the normal GTbank account number. You see why I said it is better you do it offline thats the foreign funds transfer request form so that they can guide you when filling it so not to make any mistake |
Travel / Re: North Cyprus by Professor554: 8:24pm On Aug 12, 2016 |
wizdavee: Yeah to fully use that gtbank app you need a token, there is a small form they will give you, you will fill it there then they will deduct the money from the account you put and it will be issued to you. Then if you do any transaction the token will generate a code for you then you write what you see there to complete the transaction. But for wire transfer its better to do offline that is collect fx transfer form, fill and submit than online incase of any error so the person in charge can guide you. All the best!! Best Regards |

Travel / Re: North Cyprus by Professor554: 10:51pm On Aug 11, 2016 |
wizdavee: Yeah it is possible. You know things change on daily/weekly/monthly or even yearly bases. It is possible you can now open with nothing though when I did mine back then you must deposit. Just like how a couple of years back only the rich can afford to open an account with same gtb because of the huge opening amount they request for but now, with 1500 self you can open. So they might have changed their policies. But comfirm from them either physically or through email or fb. |
Travel / Re: North Cyprus by Professor554: 10:47pm On Aug 11, 2016 |
wizdavee: Really I can't tell. Confirm from the bank. Because when I did mine, I was already operating my normal account for about a year or two. Then I opted to open a dorm account which I collected the forms and did everything after which they emailed me my account details. |

wizdavee: ok that is good. Offshore charge is the charges that may arise abroad thats the destination but you can choose to pay it sp that the school will get to recieve exactly the amount you want to pay. When i did my transfer the last time I was charged $20. Ask the bank to help you calculate how much you will pay as offshore and other charges but I think it won't be more than $10 but ask them so to be sure |
Travel / Re: North Cyprus by Professor554: 9:21pm On Aug 04, 2016 |
wizdavee: I don't think so. But ask them there in the bank maybe they have changed their policies but for me, i always leave the $100 i deposited when opening the account |
Travel / Re: North Cyprus by Professor554: 8:46pm On Aug 04, 2016 |
wizdavee: Yes. The one for dorm account is different from this. That one is account opening form and two other pages for guarantors signatures and account numbers. Your guarantors must have current account in any bank that is working and it is not salary account. Also to open a dorm account you must have a normal savings account with GTbank. If you get there they will explain everything to you better. |
