Politics / Re: 12 Steps To Impeach The President Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria by ProYouAdminsUK: 6:32pm On Apr 27, 2018 |
I am shocked at how straight forward and quickly this impeachment can go. I find it hard to believe PMB could make such a huge error in judgment. If he is impeached he can only blame himself, but it would be tragedy for country. The hardest hurdle here is 2/3 of all members in the NASS. If it means 2/3 of 469 NASS members it may be tricky to convince 310+ members to show up on a given day, let alone vote for a motion. But if there is sacks of Ghana must go available to persuade them, it is possible. It may be even easier if they only require 2/3 of the people in chambers on the given day, because the leadership use their powers to make sure Buhari loyalist are not in the chambers at time of the vote. Even easier if the NASS holds secret ballots which means they can rig it to give themselves the 2/3 majority required. Everything else is easy to achieve. The CJN is definitely not on PMB's side, have you noticed that since he resumed almost all high profile corruption cases have resulted in acquittals? Also he even failed to show up for PMB's 2018 budget presentation. The NASS appears to have conspired with US govt to frame Mr President. Interesting that Buhari will be taken out of the country by visit to same US govt, which may give NASS opportunity to strike whilst he is away. Theoretically the notice of impeachment could served on 30th April and by 13th May CJN could set up his panel |

Yet nobody can find anybody better than 75 years old Buhari. It is never about age. It is about integrity and competence. It is too early after 2.5 years to assess PMB's performance especially considering the messed up country he inherited. Chrismario: 1 Like |

Youth should also not take advise from old people on who to vote for. Youths need to ignore advice from treacherous old men like Soyinka. People should vote for track record of competency first and foremost. Listen to this shameless enemy of progress at your peril. Soyinka has never supported any govt that tried to fight corruption. 1 Like 1 Share |

Why does this headline not read 'Buhari bans movement of Herdsmen in Benue and Taraba"?. NL fp headlines always written in a way not to give any credit to PMB. When there is positive developments the accredit it to FG, when there is negative commentary they never fail to use Buhari's name. |
Politics / Re: Nigeria Is The ‘World Champion’ In Population Growth Rate by ProYouAdminsUK: 5:22pm On Apr 26, 2018 |
If you think our population is too high, consider our high mortality rate in Nigeria. Tell me a month that goes by that Nigerians do not hear of somebody dying in their community. Ignore official figures; I contend we have lowest life expectancy in the world. Do this calculation to estimate life expectancy. Take average age of everyone you remember to have died in last 1 year. Include still births or infants record their age as zero if stillborn at full term or close to full-term ; record age as 1 for babies dying between 6months and 12months. Include deaths from accidents, car crashes etc and violent crime etc. Don't include those that you have not personally met (with exception of stillborn babies which should include), Don't include people who you do not know their age. I did this calculation and was amazed at the average age. I am keen to learn what figure others arrive at before giving you my figure. 1 Like |

Also in population death rate. We have amongst the lowest life expectancy in the world. We lead the world in infant mortality and childbirth mortality. Our high birth is necessary due to our high mortality rate. Our population is amongst the few assets we have. No nation ever became a superpower with a tiny population. Our population is not our problem we have enough land and resources to cater for 1 billion people. Our problem is governance. Getting governance right and disengaging from nations who covertly sabotage our development should be our focus. 8 Likes 3 Shares |
