Good morning people, I was about paying application and tuition fee to a fashion school in poland, then I thought about the Polish embassy not being opened for now cos of the pandemic.
Does anyone here have a valid information if the embassy has opened or there's a way to apply and get interview still?

Hello house, I just got over the trauma I experienced, so i came here to seek advice. early last year I had plans to travel to the states, a friend of mine introduced me to an agent, he told me the agent had done it for a lot of people successfully, so I paid him and he kick started the whole process. to cut the story short, this guy made some west African stamps on my passport and also put a fake SA visa on it, he lured me into believing the stamps/visa would go through and even told me they don't scrutinize the stamps cause they are always having lots of applicants to attend to within a short period. on getting there all hell broke lose, and I was interrogated by a white officer who said lots of things I can't even remember, so he gave me this letter which i attached to this post and told me my passport would be confiscated due to fake documents I used.
so my question is have I been banned from entering the USA? though I know I shouldn't even think of applying again in the nearest future.
I could have asked the man directly but I froze and couldn't even think of anything but to leave the place.

No reprimand please as I have learnt my lesson, a reasonable criticism and an appropriate advice would be appreciated.

don't worry about bank blocking ur account cos of unusual activities, u can get some other guys to help so u can send the money from various accounts to ease the job.

You raised a valid point but you counter it yourself.
Lets pick the point one by one.

1) I said semester ticket is free...you said its subsidized......let me use a state like Northrine westfalia as example.... a monthly ticket for non student that covers dortmund to dusseldorf alone is 220 euro.multiply it by 6 month =1320 euro

Compare it to a student who pay 280 euro as semester fees....the semester fee covers all your studies for a semester, takes you the whole of the state, this ticket also takes you to holland and belgium free for six month.....can you compare 1320 to 280?

2) You said not all school are free....what are expecting? You want private university to br free...in my ealier post I.mention only govt universities...the only exception is baden wurttemburg( 1 states out of 16).

3) You talk about rascism: please sir are you new on this platform? Cant you see ipob and yoruba e-warriors on nairaland? Rascim is everywhere bro...how you respond/react to it is what matters. Even UK policy of brexit,cancelling of post study visa is rascist and anti immigrant.

Well, this isn't news to me because anymore I was already subjected to same scrutiny. I was in US last month and at the POE, the CBP collected my phone, asking me to show him my whatsapp messaging centre. He scrolled and read my messages at length , watched my pictures, including my wife's nude pictures taken while she was dressing up, lol. As he was reading messages na so he dey ask me questions as who's is lagbaja, who's tamedo and I took my time to explain all since I didn't have any skeleton in my cupboard. The guy also asked if I do Facebook and I said yes. He looked at my Facebook messages and friends comments. As if that wasn't enough, he also looked at my email conversations. In fact, he spent close to 2 hours with me all in the name of secondary inspection. My boss was also subjected to same scrutiny where he went for a programme in DC but he didn't stay as long as I did with them. I was asked if I had somebody living in the USA and I said nope. They asked if I use Uber in Nigeria and I said yes because Uber service is also available in Nigeria. I think he asked because he saw the Uber app on my phone. He collected my papers and went to a private room to verify them, including my paid for hotel reservation, return flight ticket to Lagos Nigeria, my paid for flight reservation within US. Letter of invitation and asked how much did I have and I showed him 4k USD cash and my debit Mastercard, in case I exhaust the cash I had on me during my 2 week visit. I think what they were doing was in order but they're going too far intruding into people's privacy, which I don't subscribe to. If you're visiting USA and you have people living illegally in that country whom you want to visit, you have ended up exposing him and sending him back home because they'd follow you to his residence and deport you both, especially if they ask where you're going and you give them details of the fellow. If I had had somebody at all and how's illegal resident, that would have been end of story because they'd find out through our conversations on social media, to enter Yankee now no easy oo

hello beautiful people.
I'm an Economics graduate, finished school 2015, I decided to pursue a hand work(automobile mechanic) which I've been into for a year now, I have applied to about 2 technical colleges in Houston, 1 in another state... awaiting my admission letter. now my question is how do I explain myself to the VO that I neglected my first degree to pursue an entirely different field of study.
or do I skip the fact that I went to the university? being 27 and single.

I haven't gotten admission from any school, my cousin wants to send me an invitation letter, but from what I have seen online I think a student visa is a better bet. I'm still trying to figure out which school I could get an admission from but should be in Texas cos that's where my cousin is. pardon my ignorance, I dont know what steps to take, that's why I'm in need of someone to guide me through the process.
