Lets keep Sentiments apart,
Ftomilola and pseudonomer i apologies for how I reacted to your comments.
Pseudonomer you are a staff, you have been here before us , was expecting some form of guide from you guys.
Rather its Misleading info,
You guys entertain students every april and September complaining how their long plans of studies ,
Writing applications,
Learning German language , moving from post office to post office, nights of unending applications searching for schools to apply , paying fees both to school and uniassist,
Walking around calling family for blocked account funds ,
At the end this embassy knowing fully well that they won't grant these students interview not even visa ,
Wont tell them on time to stop applying, they keep the information till the dying minute ,
Informing students resuming April on March, and students resuming October on sept that there is no space for them.
If only you can put yourself in our shoes,
From semester to semester, some have been here for upto 2yrs ..

All you people do is to post fake testimonies and appointments, to convince them that cat B, are getting appointment...
I stop here...
I apologise for any harsh words I might have used

Whatever you mean by staff, I am not a staff.

I don’t understand how I’ve been giving out misleading information.

That aside, you have a very good valid point.

Make your point formal, write to the German Embassy, or make a thread on Twitter and tag all whom may be of concern, write an open letter here on Nairaland, or write to DW. Make sure you’re not rude in your writing and be very concise.

I stand to be corrected though.... One of my coursemate is from Ghana and applied under cat B. He has been in Germany since December last year. Infact wen we spoke and I told him what the situation is like here in Nigeria, he was shocked. Except if the clause "catB should not apply was just recently added to Ghanaian website" like u said, I wouldn't know.

In his own case, during his visa processing after interview, the embassy called his office boss to confirm his recommendation letter, his boss said he doesn't know him. The embassy reached out to him and asked him to submit a police report. He did and still got the visa.

It's strange but we have to admit, things are different here. But it's well

The 8 weeks has been constant for a long time now, like the last time I checked was more than 4 weeks ago I think, but the 8 weeks doesn’t change.

German Embassy has the same stuffs about most third-world countries, or let me say African countries.

You know very well you are a staff, you and nellystrong7 .
But you people think you are doing your job,
At the detriment of the youths of your country.
Just to make sure they don't protest, you guys started
Pasting fake testimony, giving them false hope so at the end you tell them it have been cancelled.
Nobody is planning any protest against anybody. We want the embassy to tell category b to stop applying instead of wasting their time.

Indians were the first country that did " education is not tourism " protest and today things are better for them. But ours is different.
Selfish interest everywhere.
You think you are doing your job, you are simply sell outs

You have valid points, but you’re not stating it clearly.

I agree with your point that German Embassy to clearly state on their website that Category B should not apply like they did in Ghana.

With false hope, you waste people time. It’s better to even reject the visa, then young scholars can find alternatives instead dashing false hope on something that will never happen.

I know a lot people been waiting for 2years.

To be frank, false hope is really unfair.

Story for the gods ,
The first person to get first class, that never applied for category A, you waited for upto two semester before you realised that you are first class, and you are supposed to apply for category A.
Please note that I didn't abuse you oo.. so don't insult me ,you could have not answered the question than coming up with this your write up.,
But all I am saying , misinformation is deception,
Evil is evil , no matter what form it takes , all of you deceiving category B students with fake testimony, God will judge all of you.
Wether you work for the embassy or not .

Why are you so bitter!

Family / Re: What I Did To The Cultist That Slapped My Sister by pseudonomer: 10:33pm On Mar 26, 2021
Hugomexis:
My sister has always been telling me about a particular notorious cult guy who has been making advances towards her.

I don't live in same area with her so I wouldn't know.

She told me anytime she passes, the guy would beckon on her to come and when she refuses as usual, he'd make lewd remarks towards her.

I always laugh it off because I thought that's where it'd end until she called me crying that the guy slapped and seized her phone.

I asked her what happened and she said she was going to buy something from a nearby market late in the evening, she saw him and he cat called her. She ignored him and he called her a harlot then she replied him by saying he's stupid and foolish.

Then he came for her, slapped her and seized her phone.

I was furious. I quickly dialled the number of my soldier friend to organise 8 soldiers that would follow me there.I wired him 100k to buy drinks for them.

He organised them for me and together we took private car to where my sister stays.

We got there and we couldn't find the bastard so we arrested his folks who he smokes with till they can produce him. After threatening them, they led us to his location.

On seeing the bastard, I just rush am better slaps before my army friends come give am better marching and flogging with frog jump.

See the way the fool was crying and shedding mucus like the bastard he is. I wanted to lock him up in panti for two weeks where he will never see light and food but due to the begging from the community, I let him off with a stern warning that if dem born him and his stupid cult well, make him touch my sister again.

I go let am know the difference between six and half a dozen.

You should be careful, these guys can wait for 10years and come to kill you when you lose guard...

It doesn’t worth it dragging things with people who has nothing to lose

True talk Bro, but I just let you know I haven't been out of Nigeria but you are still blaming them Naija girls somehow, I have been close to quite a number of ladies, I have a course mate of mine then who is been chsaed by another course mate and she gives me the lowdown of how the guy practically begs her with money even when he knows she is not interested in him and so many other instances like that, anyhow sha we are all guilty of these some of us are just worst and go extreme for a lady you know you won't marry just to form ego.. If the money comes easy no biggie but confirm hard labour is a no no..

I am only saying this based on my personal experience and because I have been with girls of other nationalities. And I’m not saying all naija girls, of course, I don’t know all naija girls. I’m only saying this is “common”.

They must bill you sha, even if she has a good job.

I think it’s the mentality of how our girls were being raised.

Who is to be blamed, the so called women who see themselves as a means to amass money or the men who for the lust of their flesh spend endlessly on these women...
@patoski39, You talked about men doing these menial jobs before they can even afford a half of the quarter of the lifestyle of those ladies and I put it to you some of the men you saw there once they are done a large percentage of that money they made is spent to either impress women or spent on women and you still blame women who have a means to survival without lifting a finger... Na our fellow men we suppose lambast...

Yea, you’re right. I remember when I was young, I noticed all the guys in my area doing hard-labour jobs were the ones giving 50% of their wages to ladies. I know a guy whose daily wage was 2k , he gives his gf 1k daily, I was like wtf... Well I will blame then men.

The funny thing is this is only common among Naija girls...

This is the verse I was speaking of:

Luke 21:36 (KJV)

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

So could you give your view of what Jesus was speaking of here?

You're right about the bolded though, but I would advice that people prepare for the great tribulations just in case, because I believe thay anyone who does so would be able to make it both. But I doubt that those who only prepare for the rapture would.

God bless.

I think Revelation 7:14 confirms this.

Programming / Re: Best Programming Language To Learn This 2021: The Beginner's Guide by pseudonomer: 1:26pm On Jan 15, 2021
Sheriman:

Love your views on this. It was great.
Am still a beginner learning Kotlin basics.
I think I find it interesting and challenging though sometimes I got fed up and tired but nothing good comes easy especially if you really want to take this career to the next level. It is not easy to be a professional programmer.. it involves a lot of resources.
I'm going to stay glue with Kotlin alone
It is of no important learning all language I rather stick with one and be the best programmer at it. That's is my philosophy.
God bless all the programmers

It is valid to be good at one, so you can pick others easily. If you are a software engineer, you’d need to pick up other languages. I was interviewed in C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Database Management and Networking. After I got hired, I only have to work with Reactjs, NodeJS and Postgres. It only took me a week to pick these stuffs up.

I guess NAFDAC is right, the Pfizer Vaccine has been reported to kill 23 people in Norway.

Norway says there are risks that Covid-19 vaccinations may be too risky for the very old and terminally sick, after 23 people died within a short time of receiving their first shot.

Of those deaths, 13 have so far been autopsied with the results suggesting that common side effects may have contributed to severe reactions in frail, elderly people, according to the Norwegian Medicines Agency.
