Don't Fall For It!

"You are never given a wish
without also being given the power
to make it come true.
You may have to work for it however."
- - Richard Bach

With the economic turmoil that we're experiencing
has come a new wave of business opportunities
for people displaced by this hard times.

Now, you know that I'm a fan of opportunities and
I believe that everyone should take charge of their
own life. But there's a trap waiting, and I don't want
you to fall in it.

The trap is a seductive one and comes in many
forms but the common characteristic is that the
sales pitch says, "It's easy!"

You see it in internet marketing, with pitches for
things like private label rights material that claim
you can take this stuff that someone else wrote,
throw up a web page, buy a little traffic and watch
the money roll in.

You can see it in network marketing where you're
told that you can start a simple business in your
own home and in your spare time build a business
that will earn you Caribbean cruises and early
retirement.

The problem, as successful marketer Perry
Marshall likes to point out, is that businesses that
claim to be "so simple anyone can do it" have a
99% failure rate.

They don't have that failure rate because the
businesses don't work, they fail because the
people coming in to them think it's going to be
easy, and they're not prepared for what it really
takes.

That's lesson #1 - don't start anything thinking it
will be easy. Be prepared to change your routine,
work hard, make mistakes and learn a lot.

I have a good friend in a network nutritional
company who's now going on those award cruises.
She got there by working 8 - 12 hours a day for 10
years and getting thousands of rejections, without
quitting. In her success is the second lesson for
you to consider.

She succeeded because she's passionate about
the products and feels that she's making a
difference in people's lives by solving health
problems. That passion has kept her going
through all the late hours and discouragements.

That's lesson #2 - choose something you're
passionate about, because if you do it for the
money, you'll fail. You've got to be driven by a
higher purpose!

Now here's the good news. If you're mentally
prepared and you're passionate about what
you're doing, you can have anything you want!
Just choose carefully.

I'll close with another quote from Richard Bach:

"In order to live freely and happily,
you must sacrifice boredom.
It's not always an easy sacrifice."
I think living freely and happily is worth it!

Here's to playing big in life,
To our success

Religion / Re: A Question For Tithe Payers by publicview: 11:26am On Mar 11, 2009
Tithe or tenth parts is never a christain obligation, because Christ is the end of the law (Rom 10 vs 4) Jesus Christ never collected or tend to exact any from his apostles or disciples. There is no way Jesus could do so because the tribe he springs from (Judah) was never entitled to collect tithes from fellow Isrealites.(I dont know of any present electric pastors who can trace his tribalship to the levitical priesthood) or any existence of levitical priesthood.

Why It was ONLY the tribe of Levi who are entitled to be given such as a support for their priestly duties(SEE Numbers18vss 29-21 and Chapter 18vs26, Compare Hebrew 7 vs 9. The tenth part contribution was quite different from other contribution each Isrealite should make towards the support of their worship, See Numbers 1 vss1-88.

TODAY's present day propaganda by so called men of god is to the bones well crafted thievery and cold deceit. Let them go ahead to float their Universities, Airlines, even owning some State governments, What shall it benefit a man or woman to gain the whole world and lose his SOUL.

Investing in Land is still better than the stock market. I have relatives who bought lands like 2-3 years ago and nothing has happened to them all these while. all you need do is go through the right channel and you won't have dispute.

Am right at your side, some companies shares that are bought in the sixties, and seventies, where are they? a piece of land bought along Ikorodu road at same time, with same price what is the worth?, estate investment is the primary investment for any sensible person.

Visualize Your Goals
There are seven formulas for business success. Number one, set a specific goal and visualize it as a reality. Play the picture of your goal as already realized on the screen of your mind over and over again. Number two, look for a problem you can solve with a product or service that is high quality and good value. All successful businesses are based on products or services that are high quality and good value. Number three, start small and learn your business thoroughly. Be patient. Invest time rather than a lot of money.

Bootstrap Your Way To Success
One of the best ways to build a business is to start off on a bootstrap. This means that you start off with very little money and you grow your business with the money that you ear n in the business, rather than outside financing, borrowing, loans from friends and so on.

Test, Test, Test

Number four, test every major move before you invest in it. Test, test, test. Don't plunge into a business. Move ahead carefully, one step at a time. Number five, expand on the basis of your successes, out of your profits, as you move along. In other words, only expand your business on money that you've earned in the business, not on borrowed capital.

ALL four @

If you have a million naira to invest today, would you buy shares, or would you put in fixed deposit account? Or put it under your pillow

Fixed deposit in banks are lazy minded men way of investment, banks ain't so safe anymore no matter what banks are saying.

To secure your one million naira, look around for cheap land, that sells from 250-500k per plot and sit on it. you have better collateral than share which banks are rejecting. bank's failures and stock market price fluctuation, or crash, DO NOT AFFECT LAND PROPERTY.

The stock exchange markets all over the world are houses built by greed

Health / Itchy Eyes (optician In The House) by publicview: 12:07pm On Feb 16, 2009
My eyes itches alot, i have gone to an optician who recommended an eye drop Dextracin, (though recommended a bifocal eyeglass just for me to read under relative poor light condition)

i tried same (ie dextracin) and was relieved, after a year of its application the itching came back again, especially if i expose my eyes on the computer for about 2hrs.

I need a final solution.

Romance / Re: Imo State Is Very Expensive To Marry(n475000).she Asked Me To Sale My Properties by publicview: 12:55pm On Feb 12, 2009
You can do anything for love, but not to sell your soul and be in chains

likely you got yourself into some wrong hands, or your wife's family to be are paupers waiting to sell their daughters to the highest bidder

Imo and all eastern states law stipulates a legal bride price of N60 (sixty naira only) and the amiable late Gov Sam Mbakwe set an example in this regards by marrying of his daughter to same sum

I also paid such, and am a deeply a happy married man, expensive wedding is a progeny to distressful marriage

Stack your 2.5million in neat bundle, Grab a very good corporate lawyer, Head straight to Femi Otedola, or Jimoh Ibrahim.

Enter into an agreement with them to invest this sum and watch your money grow.

Lets i forget, if you cant access a good lawyer, i can arrange that.

I agree with you that it is more difficult for a customer when the service provider is providing services that are not common like selling recharge cards since recharge cards from any seller for any network is the same. Well, not so in the businesses I run, we build inverter backup systems and develop custom software and database driven applications and in these areas we maintain the highest level of professional integrity, may be that is why we do not waste time to call erring customers to order.

Am a guerilla marketing tactics expert, its high time i and my team prowl your neigborhood and spy on you, probably we will take away a chunk of bread from your mouth. Its time for you to be paranoid. Give me a clue where you re located at.
