Good afternoon people,
I am about to surprise my Elder sister who has PCOS that has resulted in 9years of subfertility and 2 ivf failures with 1million naira to restart her ivf trials again. She's in Taraba with the Husband, thus the closest place for her is abuja.
As much I as know the fluidity of outcomes of this procedure, I also recognize that informed decisions do alter the prognosis abit. In this regard, I would like to know the following.

1. Which ivf center is the most cost-effective in abuja( she and and husband are having financial setbacks so I shall be paying most of the way?)

2. Which one is most flexible in terms of appointments and followup considering their location which makes travelling for Cycle correction and ovarian hyperstimulation inevitable.?

3. I know your chances increase with more cycles.. Which ivf center is the cheapest ast for multiple back to back cycles if néed.

My questions are not exhaustive, this couple have done in Nisa premier and India without success before stumbling upon hard times which is making feeding difficult how much more ivf.. My prayer is that this gesture kickstarts some progress in their lives.

Comments are welcome.
Thank you my Queens
Please try DIFF. They're good but may need to be around those 2weeks ofstim. I don't stay in abuja too n i had a bfp on first trial. Check their website for current prices of d salt foundation promo

Please mamas no vex, I neva come, I don dey disturb.

Please I have been having serious stomach tightening that wakes me up from sleep since last week Monday. it has reduced a bit and I spoke to the doc this morning when I went for a confirmatory blood PT and he prescribed Salbutamol 2mg for 5 days cos he said it's a sign of threatening miscarriage.

I rejected it and ran to the pharmacy and got it, I had already taken one when I decided to Google it and it's saying it's not really safe.

Please mamas chuck mouth, has anyone taken it or had this experience.
Mama, i has salbutamol in most part of my pregnancy. Tho started at second trimester. It's to stop premature contractions of the uterus.

My twinnie, i understand how u feel. Sadly, we cant b with them all d tym in our lives. It's just part of their growing up. I resumed work when she was 3months. I have a 9-5 job n all i do is express n go breastfeed once during my break. She's on exclusive. I got her a nanny n they stay close to my office at a friend's shop. So she also helps to monitor her. Pray 4their protection always. You both 'll b fine

My dear, they usually work with the average of tummy, head n femur. During my scans, d tummy always measued less or my exact week while femur n head measures up to 2weeks ahead sometimes. The average was usually a week ahead too.My baby turned out fine. My doc mentioned my baby is most likely going to be tall n that's y the femur always has a measurement ahead.
It's nothing to worry abt sis.

My able mamas I have come again ooo, pls come to my aid.

DS has refused to sit, he is more than 4months and whenever he is placed to sit, he pushes himself and slides down, I don tire, how can I make him sit.

BM flows from his left nose whenever we lie down to breastfeed at night, what could be the cause?

Rashes keep coming and going around his genitals, I keep to strict hygiene and use tribotan, we use molfix diaper...still the same, I am tired oooo. we have been battling this since he was 3weeks.

Changed from mofix to huggies...Nigerian huggies sef and the rash has disappeared ever since. B4 it goes and comes back. I also use water to wash up when we're home n only use wipes outdoors. I don't know if tho'se were the cause but it worked 4me. As for sitting, my 4months baby too will either lean to her side or front whenever i put her to sit. Now i use pillows to support her. I'm not so worried, i think they'll learn with time.

Good evening mamas,Am a First time mom and I am really confused and need your advise.i have been leaking watery discharge for weeks and didn’t know it was my amniotic fluid leaking until it followed with heavy bleeding with clots when I tried to poop.I ran to the hospital as early as 4am and they said I have low lying placenta at 21 weeks 3 days.I was put on bed rest and the bleeding stopped. At the point of discharge 2 days later I stated to spot again with same watery discharge and went to the rest room to clean up.While cleaning I noticed I was able to feel my water bag almost at the tip of my vagina and quickly alerted the Doctor. They tried to do an emergency Cerclage but could not.I have been placed on permanent bed rest and antibiotics to avoid infection. The doctors are telling me that at 22weeks my baby is not viable if I go into labour and would need to let go.

My baby’s heart beat is still strong and he is kicking.I feel he should be given a chance since he is still alive than just write him off due to risk of infection,my blood pressure has been fine and temp ok.I need advise should I transfer to another hospital with neo natal unit as I discovered they have no neo natal unit at this present hospital.Am just a jumble of emotions and don’t know what to do.I need advise. Please help
Mama, i feel your pain. I really don't have a professional advise but getting a second opinion won't b bad. The baby is actually very young. Please sabi mamas come and give your advises. God be with u mama.

Kaffy4bill chai that plaster removal is terrible , I will spend one hour removing it bit by bit grin , thing I’d there was fluid coming out of the site of incision I was told it’s normal and still not cover oh well I didn’t listen I kept on covering until doctor told me don’t cover again madam
Honestly the pain from CS is Terrible terrible terrible , but someone who did said she was given analgesics to numb the site up until one week post op so she didn’t really feel pains there , that was the first time I was hearing of that and honestly I won’t mind that for this one o
Sorry sis. U can ask for post operation epidural if your hosp have it. They'll use the same line for the spinal anesthesia used during the cs.youll feel no pain for 48hours that it'll be on. It may cost extra tho.
@missyblissy mine was removed on day 4 n i was told i could start bathing with water same day butshouldn't scrub with sponge or soap. No pains too

Good day mamas
I am new here and I have been reading all comments.
Please I need help oooo. I am on my 1st ivf treatment and I know i have gotten a BFP already. But i have some questions?
1. I am going for retrival tomorrow, what are the things i should do before and after?
2. What do i do before implantation and after?
Sorry for the Fifty questions, but i need to know what to do and what not to do. @ebonynelly and other sabi mamas,i dey hail ooo.
Thanks.
1 did othing b4. In case u feel pains after u can try putting a warm towel on ur belly. Watch out for excessive bloatedness n ulcer like pain, i had this n it was OHSS. Especially if u have PCOS.
2. After transfer, some people swear by not taking their bath until abt some days or 1week. Pineapple core fore 5days after. Take rest 4d day n u can resume light activity d nxt day. I resumed work on the 3rd or 4th day with mine n went abt everything normally. Though i stopped driving.. I wore socks during the 2ww n stsyed active. It helps with blood circulation to d uterus. Just take easy but b a lil active too. Good luck to u

This sebamed though, I don't understand. I have a friend that use it for his 2 kids from birth but their skin is so dry and somehow wrinkle self. You need to see their hands.

I have told her to start using dove soap for them, and Ori with palmkernel oil.

Abi is she the one not buying the original sebamed ni. But she buys from all these known supermarkets.

Abeg which type of dove. The one with white n blue carton?

How do you cope and manage with your breast after delivery. Had my baby on Tuesday and baby's jaw is not strong yet to suck very well. No waka pass your home girl biko.
As advised, try to express it n give to baby using spoon, bottle or syringe. If its plenty, store the remaining in fridge or freezer.
Try putting him to breast too. He'll catch up with time. Check your nipple to if its not flat, this can sometimes discourage baby from sucking. if it is oga the pump will help too.
