timmy7 I am glad that you are in the ark of safety of Jesus Christ. Welcome brother !
I am still waiting to hear from someone out there who has questions about Jesus Christ
or why is it important for people to be saved.

I don't have all of the answers (just some). We have some pretty intelligent peolpe
writing (here) and together we can help all understand the "truth". This world is filled with so many lies and it's hard to see straight.

I do agree with people that say that the church has not done what it was supposed
to do (neither have I, even though I try). Jesus himself talked to the seven churchs
and told them what he liked and did not like about what was going on (Rev Chapters 2-3).

It is therefore important to not be led astray by man, but to look at Jesus and his
teachings to understand what's going on.

In the book of James (Chapter 1 Verse 1-17) :

James 1
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Look at verses (5-. It talks about if we don't know what to do, to ask God.
What would happen if we did that. It says that if you ask him in faith, he will
help you if you don't waver or are not double minded.

I am a mechanical engineer by training. I would be working with teams of
other engineers working on various problems. I said to myself, if we can't solve
this problem with the best engineers in the world working on this, maybe
we should try another approach.

I then said to myself, What would happen if I asked God ? You know waht happened.
I started looking smarter than I actually was. I only did what God told me
(put on my heart).

I started solving problems. One guy (me) had more answers than (many people) could
come up with. It wasn't me I would say, it was God. Nobody believed me.

I still ask God in prayer in Jesus Christ's name when I don't have the answers
and that is everyday.

It is evident that we are certainly not going to continue in the state that society is in.
The whole world is in moral decay.  What surprises me is why people get mad at the
teachings of Jesus Christ.  You can't point out anything that he did wrong (neither could his false accusers).

People get angry at Jesus Christ because what he said was the truth.  If you stop,
and pause, and listen, his teachings are life changing and will allow for you to
understand that he is the creator (you did not make yourself, and you certainly did not
come from generations of (frogs, or bears, or dolphins).  How preposterous evolution is !

People are mad because one choses to follow the great God (Jesus Christ) who loved you enough to come to the earth to have a personal relationship with you.

If your salvation was not at stake (it is) what did Jesus Christ teach or do that was
so wrong ?  We cannot find one illegal thing that he did. (He was sinless).  I am a
reasonable man (that is what is required by our laws when concerning a tort (civil wrong) or
even in considering whether or not someone has committed a crime).

I would love to defend Jesus Christ (and I am now) in the court system.  He has done nothing wrong.  As a matter of fact, he has told us what to do just like you would tell
people to do if you had made something (a product) or had a company.  You would do it your way. Probably your way or the highway ! 

God the Father gave all authority to Jesus Christ (his Son).  Jesus Christ made everything in
heaven and in earth ;

Colossians Chapter 1: Verses (12 -21)

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.


Man if this does make you shake, I don't know how anyone would want to go against
the God of the universe, who made us (you and me).  Do you know that in the old
testament days God did not play.  You were stoned for sinning, for not following the
Law of Moses. No questions were asked.  Boom ! you were gone !!!! Pufffffff !

By grace (God's grace)are ye saved through faith (faith in Jesus Christ)

Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

No man could on his own accord have put the Bible together. 

You are over estimating man :

who gets sick, who dies, who can't get along with his fellow brother (or sister),
who is greedy, who makes other's sin from their evil inventions, who pollutes his own drinking water, who throws garbage on the street, who makes nuclear material that can't be disposed of, who creates money to divide people, who kills people for money,
who walks by the homeless and won't feed them, who does not even speak to his neighbor, who is envious of his neighbor's new car or job promotion, who does not take care of his family, who treats the elderly without the respect that they have earned, etc,

We are in need of a Savior.  I was in need of a Savior.  I am now covered (saved)
with the precious blood of The Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) and I will not spend eternity
in hell (lake of fire and brimstone).

Today is still the day of salvation.  Just like with Noah, you can still get on the ark.
Jesus Christ is the real ark of safety.

I don't believe in religon. I believe in Jesus Christ.  I know that man can't save me.  Since I've been on this planet
man has done nothing but lie to me, steal my things (computer, briefcase, valuables, etc, ).

I can't believe in man.  We are sinful.  Even me !  I am glad that there is a way out.  By the grace of God
he has given me the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.  I accept the free gift of salvation !

I know that without it, I will perish.  We all know that man will eliminate himself without God's intervention.
We are not intelligent enough to know that this world is run by evil.  Look at all of the evil inventions that we
come up with.  Just about everything is slanted.  MONEY, MONEY, MONEY !!!!!

I may not be rich on earth, but I am rich in God.  Much richer than I was with a MBA and mechanical engineering degree.
I brought into their lies of this world (give my ideas to a corporation and watch them take credit for my work and
become rich by stealing my ideas.  Once they had to come back to me because they didn't understand how I did it )!


If you watch this world and its systems, how do we not step forward and ask why ?

Why do we have to get an apple, orange, or a cluster of grapes from a grocery store ?  Did not God put
the fruit on a vine or tree for all to enjoy ?  Who started the process whereby if I take a grape, I will
be killed, or thrown in jail for being hungry.

Here in the USA, I see restaurants throwing out food (while we have homeless people).  I once worked
for a major fast food establishment (you know MD's). I was told to throw out all of these hamburgers and chesseburger that wehad just made but it was time to close the store.  I was supposed to throw the burgers in the
incinerator.  When I got outside I saw all of the homeless people (hungry) and I gave them the bags (still hot, and
in the original hamburger boxes) and I told them that we just made the burgers.

I was not going to walk pass a hungry person and throw good food in an incinerator for a corporation.

I couldn't do it !

I wish I had all of the answers, I don't. I have just posted what I read from my
understanding of the bible. I want the truth. I know that we are in the end time.
Only man is stupid enough to think that he controls things, or that he made all
this that we see with our eyes.

I don't need crticsim, I need a person to correct my understanding (with scripture)
so that I can learn and teach others. I know I'm not far from the truth.

No one can no the hour (of Jesus Christ's return) but we can know the seasons.

Knowledge is to be shared. Not like we do currently on earth for money.
What are your schemes going to bring us when there is no more, time, no more money,
and no more NBA, NFL, MLB, soccer, and no more sin.

I am a mechanical engineer by training.  I have been on a mission to learn more about the bible than my engineering and graduate degrees.  I told myself, I should know more because I am a Christian 24 hrs a day, and an mechanical engineer 8 hrs per day !!!

After I read the bible (all) at first nothing stuck.  I kept reading.  It finally after many years
started to make since.  We stumble because we don't read the word of God.

I was really interested in the rapture concept.  I studied, I asked questions then I formed  an opinion.  I was not sure I was right so I continued to search the scriptures for something that would give me further understanding.

As I did this, I found out that Jesus told us in Matthew 24 that the rapture would occur immeadiaimmediatelyhe tribulation of those days.  After Christians are tried just like
any other person we would be raptured.  We are being raptured from Armagedon not
from tribulation.
