If you are a bush, and uncivilised man that can not adjust to the times we are living in, then move to the village, where bush people reside. What you stated is jargons. It is very dumb and weak, and it makes no sense saying we are a cultural, and religious people, cos you are contradicting yourself. Culture and religion should teach you to respect yourself and be morally upright, not harassing women on the streets...and not all of them are scantily dressed. These perverts should be in jail.

Unnecessarily bitter

Unfortunately in Nigeria, our culture and religion deems most of our copied contemporary life style unacceptable...In some western countries, you can wear bikini in public as you want and won't be bothered but it isn't acceptable in Nigeria, In our Cities or Village because by our OWN standards it's is considered immoral. This standards have been there even before you were born and won't change anytime soon, if you want tolerance go to America because Nigerian's do not owe you the right to love you and your civilized adjustment, so instead of trying to prove to illiterates (who can't even spell it) why they should respect your right, just stay safe abeg, there will always be dogs around and most of the times they go Scot-free.

I think we are even more tolerant than countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE

YOU JUST HAD TO MAKE THIS THING ABOUT DRESSING APPROPRIATELY?

Plot twist, I am a Muslim woman. Practically covered from head to toe. I get harrased each and everytime I go to this market. Should I just continue to allow them touch me cos the can?

The world will never run out of weirdos and bad people...like I said the system is weak, unfortunately our law and enforcers do no not deter this men enough from sexual harassment... until we get there, all you can do is help in your own little way... help train your boy child too so he doesn't harass others in future...

Romance / Re: "Stop Touching Us" Campaigners Assaulted By Yaba Traders (Pics, Videos) by RayJinble(m): 11:45am On Dec 16, 2018
Women most times are the cause of their own problems... women are primary factors in maintaining morality and societal ethics . Charity they say begins at home... A mother refuses to train his son well, his son will probably grow up to abuse women in Yaba market in the future. It might sound absurd but it's all connected.
Xenocentrism is another chronic problem in our society today. We tend to copy from the Westerners including things we aren't supposed to. In a country like Nigeria with weak judiciary system, we are just not matured enough to condone certain kind of dressing in public. Nigerian's are not Americans, Nigerian's are communal, religious and upholds female decency and chastity very well. But you already know this... You know you will be gazed at, hissed at called names, groped and whatever But you still chose to dress indecently hoping that everyone you meet on your way will some how suddenly transform to an American and understand why it's your right and why you should be loved even though you are walking around in bra and minis THIS IS NIGERIA you aren't allowed to.. meanwhile a pry 5 pupil will see this same aunty and feels this is how a contemporary lady should look like and unknowingly recalibrate his standards and values and subsequently starts to objectify women in the future and probably assault a lady someday at Yaba market all because a woman feels she has a right to bare boobs...and the Yaba lady cries out mysoginist and patriarchy and that men should be less of a pig and bla bla..
.no man is born a misogynistic...educate our boy child too and he won't depart from it
Dress as you want to be addressed.... Men are visually wired (you already know this) a man sees your boobbs, he will sexually objectify you its natural, you can't fight nature..
My point are
Nigeria isn't mature enough for Feminism.... and it isn't coming any time soon... Don't waste your time
Dress properly if you want to be taking seriously and avoid unnecessary abuse...because not all men are mentally upright. It's better to stay safe than try to prove your right every time to fools..also consider the kids of your fellow women while dressing up too. If we want eradicate mysoginism in Nigeria, then we must all sacrifice together and strive to instill decency in our kids not by words alone but also by our actions

God bless us all

Anyway.... Marriage is not and will never be by force. If you feel as a lady that you are too successful or rich or too smart to submit to a man, STAY SINGLE.

naijacann:
This is so ridiculous. Racism at its worst! The guys at the embassy are so uncomfortable with a black person getting funding from Australia for doctoral study. I have never been this angry and disappointed at an embassy....its an obvious case of racism and discrimination.
They wouldn't refuse an American or any other white person visa based on such ridiculous reasons.
I wish I knew the schools, I would have applied from here in Canada(I'm a Canadian citizen of Nigerian descent), get the admission and funding, and of course easy study visa, and then I will decline the visa after issuance, with a strongly worded letter to the Australian immigration here, in solid solidarity with the OP.
So sick of these embassies.

My brother stop crying foul... No be embassy fault, it's the fault of our brothers that have gone to the embassy before us.... They promised to come back home afterwards but...

On the issue of racism..... You don't just show up in another man's land and expect all off them to like you for no reason..... Some of us go there for honest jobs I agree but unfortunately some of us also go there to reck the system and clog their jails in a bid to make it big.... How many persons do you know in Malaysia right now that's there for honest legit reasons?....Some months ago, some NIGERIAN rival cult groups were reported to have clashed swords in the streets of China for some clumsy reason known to them and afterwards the Chinese authorities demanded that henceforth no Nigerian should be accommodated in any of the hotels in the city blablabla....
My point is....don't completely blame the foreigners for their strict attitude towards us, we have a share in the blame too... They are only been protective/security conscious of viruses and parasites that try to infest their country daily..... We are useless to their economy but keep brewing threats here and there when shown mercy..... If you don't like the way I treat you in my house...go back and build yours.. Simple..... It's their country and they have the right to refuse you entry if you pose as a nuisant or are just useless to them economy-wise don't interpret it as wickedness.....rather, be motivated...

After all..... Our ancestors once kicked Ghana out of our country
They got motivated and now we envy them smiley

F1 didn't set out to have a male and female version. It is open to both male and female.

So, your question should be, why are there very few female racers. The same reason why you are not an F1 driver... grin

Most women from Imo State make good wives (very low divorce rate, hustling spirit, good mothers, beautiful, and so on) so, if you know that you need gold, be ready to pay more.

Not all parts of IMO State is expensive. This is probably Mbaise axis.

Cheap LGAs to marry from:
Orlu
Oru (East and West)
Okigwe
Ideator (North and South)
Nwangele (Linda Ikeji area)
Orsu
Isu/Njaba
Onuimo( Ain't too sure)

This list is however, not exhaustive. Add yours.

I can attest for Orsu.....

It gets a little more complicated when you're not single. Now you'll have to consider your partner when making any decision(s). Lucky you, no kids yet so you've got time to make bold decisions and take risks. I hope things work out for you. I don't know as much about European migration as I do about here so I can't say a lot on how it's done... and sure, you're welcome.

How long do i have to stay for to be a US citizen abeg

You made 3m in 7 months from nothing? That's remarkable and super impressive. If the business isn't expanding yet, is it possible to give it time to maintain the pace, while you save enough to be able to expand it slowly but steadily? It's just a thought.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Africa is cursed lol. It just doesn't work out for some people.

If your business is registered, i would like to invest

It means becoming a citizen when you were only a foreigner. From being just a foreigner with visas, temporary residence permits, etc. to having the rights of a citizen (including voting, taking up govt jobs, etc) and all kids born to you automatically take up citizenship too.

Oh, you also get the opportunity to burn your former passport and vow to never set foot in that country if that's what you want. Lol.

Hello

If i got the finance and everything, how long would it take me to naturalize there. Pls reply
