Introduction: Now that we understand the significance and the ministry of the comforter, hopefully, the Holy spirit would have discovered in us clean vessels and templates, ready for divine occupation .You need to receive Him without hesitation.

How to receive the baptism of the holy spirit The following steps will guide any sincere candidate for the baptism of the Holy Ghost;

1. Be born again (John 3:3; Acts 3:19)

2. Be desirous and thirsty for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 37:4; Psalm 42:1; Isaiah 55:1)

3. Believe that the promise of the baptism of the Holy Ghost is for you and all believers (Acts 2:33)

4. Identify the Lord Jesus Christ as the right source of the baptism in the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11).


5. Have confidence also in His word, which will never fall to the ground but is forever settled in
Heaven (john 7:37-39; Psalm 119:89).

6. Then ask Him and He will answer, for “He that asketh receiveth” (Luke 11:10).

7. Praise and thank God in advance for your baptism because He is the giver of good gifts. (James 1:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

The actual baptism, the baptizer and the evidence The lord Jesus Christ is the baptizer (Matthew 3:11). The process of baptism in the Holy Ghost involves finding time to come before the presence of God. Our maker, in worship, praise, thanksgiving and with a right mind (Psalm 100:4; 66:18).

The focus of attention at this time should be Jesus, who is the Author and the finisher of our faith and the rewarder of the faith and the diligent (Hebrews 12:1-2; 11:6). After asking prayerfully and in faith, the Holy Spirit himself gives utterance which is evidenced in the speaking of tongues (Acts 2:1-4; 10;44-46).

This baptism initiates the believer into POWER, the divine ability to do exploits, “greater works than these” as Jesus prophesied (Luke 24:49; John 14:12).

Conclusion

The baptism in the Holy Ghost is for you to make you strong, ride high in God and be perfect as God intends you to be. If you are born again then ask for the baptism in the Holy Ghost and the baptizer will do now, in Jesus’ name . Amen!

INTRODUCTION:

The term “Secret place comes from the Hebrew word “cether” which means “to hide or be concealed”. Other words from Secret place include shelter, covering or dwelling place.

One who abides in the secret place of God dwells in an ascended place of rest, lifted up above principalities and powers. It is a place of protection from trouble; where God surrounds you with deliverance (Psalm 32:7).

HOW TO ENTER THE SECRET PLACE

We can gain access to God’s secret place through a life of holiness (Psalm 15:1-5), praise, thanksgiving and prayer of faith (Psalm 100:3-4; Jeremiah 33:3).

We must walk away fom the clamour and enticements of the world (1 John 2:15). Our hearts must be quite before him as we allow Him investigate those inner thoughts we reveal to no one else (Isaiah 30:15; Psalm 139:2). To connect with God, we must avoid distractions (Matthew 6:6 Mark 1:35)..

We cannot join God in His secret place unless we are wiling to be transparent and honest with Him (Psalm 69:5; 139:7). WE must not dwell in the ungodly (Psalm 1:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

A consecrated and Sanctified life is a prerequisite to gaining access into God’s secret place (Leviticus 20:7; Psalm 24:3-4)

BENEFITS OF BEING IN GOD’S SECRET PLACE

The benefits of dwelling in God’s secret place include:

1. Closer fellowship in God’s secret place include;
2. Living a holy life becomes possible (Isaiah 6:1-5).
3. Self-assessment of our faith will be enhanced (2 Corinthians 13:5_.
4. Fruit of the Spirit takes root and grows (Galatians 5:22).
5. Our gaze is focused on Christ and things of eternal value Matthew 6:19-21; Hebrews 12:2)
6. Divine protection and deliverance (Proverbs 18:10; Psalm 91:13-14).
7. Divine authority and attention (1 Kings 17:1)

CONCLUSION:

God wants us to dwell in His Secret place; not to visit. In God’s secret place, on evil can come near us.
