I graduated with third class from university of Benin, civil engineering

This guy just messed up himself. You think you are a kid?

Graduating third class isn't the problem, some people do not even go to school. The problem is the fact that he forged his result to go for NYSC. This goes to show how criminal minded this man is. We shouldn't be celebrating criminals like this because kids like you will not see anything wrong in it. Many people will see it as another idea to skip their carryovers and forged their own results just to go for NYSC.

Chris, you have not only disgraced yourself but you have ended up making it difficult for serious minded people to take you serious since you want tow the path of the jaguda senator. A senator who should have been locked in kirikiri irregularities in his certificate, you are here cheering him.

On behalf of smart and intelligent Uniben engineering graduates who used the LT1, LT2, LT3 and LT4, we hereby dissociate from you because you have brought shame to our beloved class.

I say the same things to my friends all the time.

Northerners are born politicians

Yoruba's are diplomats and they know how to manuover their away around things.

The Igbos just keeps playing the victim card, and they expect that to get them to presidency?
but guess what, No one wants to be associated with a victim, no one will give power to a victim, no one can trust a victim - it's a phycological proven fact!

All my life, I hear Igbo people say they're been hated, I did not understand because I don't hate anyone and I don't see people around me hating anyone because he/she is Igbo.
I did history in secondary school and we were never taught the Nigerian civil war - I later understood that Gowon had it omitted from the syllabus just to prevent this hate thing Igbo's are talking about.

The way Igbo's indoctrinate their kids -planting the seed of enemity in their hearts its not fair.
and if anything, that's why others will hate Igbo's.

Madam how far have you gone on life? In what capacity have you played Nigerian politics. Have you ever been able to work in a Nigerian cooperation? Which Nigerian agency have you worked? Have you been to the southeast? Do you know anything about the aftermath of the civil war? What is the meaning of RRR? Do you know what happened to IBETO? Do you think over 45million igbos will just complain because they feel its in them to complain? Why do you think igbos leave their ancestral homes to hustle while chunk of the other two still remained in their homeland?

Politics isn't black and white, there are many things you think of before you type next time.

Igbo has every opporrunity in te system of this country.

They can be anything they want to be.
I think they are so comfortable with their hustling.

why cant they see the big pucture here.

if they open their mind n play politics it will give them what they want.

the world is shift away from open combat warfare.

they fight cold war, politics n politics of allies towin war.

infact if they dont need the presidency cant they at least play politics and in the end they will win

but i know them
they will first draw the first blood n when they return the favour for them they will start screaming. betrayal .

they can at least have the power n then decide what to do want to do with their biafra.

yoruba says to catch a monkey you have to act like a monkey

they dont understand what it takes to leave Nigeria

Igbokwe has seenn this but we all know our yeastern bro.
they will sit in their comfort zone cn keep pointing blames upandan n claining victim

Which tribe have not supported in the presidential bid? So, since we did not support Buhari in the last election, we are now goats?

You are very wise, see the way they dropshot guy was sounding as if they (yoruba and hausa) 'loved' Igbos so much he would have voted for Ojukwu. Laughable!

We know better and we also know that people are far more politically aware today than they were in 1999 and 2003. cheesy

If or whenever an Igbo man becomes president, the other regions will be itching to remove him because they are used to not having them heading affairs. There will be so much outcry of nonexistent corruption and other vices just to remove him and put it back to where it was.

Igbo presidency, though good, but it will be tantamount to tarnishing the image of Igbos more at the federal level.

Mr man, so if they told you guys to fight igbos , you will come out? All these guys are just using federal government to protect yourselves because if it happens, it will be like a giant trampling on an ant. Y'all should just calm down, we have fought ur masters in the middle of the north and they didn't do much, so fighting few remaining villagers when their sons are away shouldn't make you come here and be making mouth.

In 1999, the zoning was only to the South which SE/SS is part of. I understand that OBJ was highly favored then though.

In 2007, 2011 and 2015, had the Igbos played the smart politics by aligning with the North (PMB) then, perhaps a president of Igbo extraction could have emerged by now.

There was an alliance with Yaradua, who was from the north. The power equation was destabilized by the emergence of a southerner, Jonathan. So, since the north has taken their mandate back, it is in our own interest to wait till 2023.
Politics / Re: Igbo Presidency Realisable In 2023 —SELDI by realhumanity: 9:22am On Mar 14, 2017
DropShot:

Since 1999, there has not been a single time the Igbos united behind an Igbo candidacy.

I see it as an indication of treachery in a way.

Ojukwu was soundly rejected by the generality of the Igbos. What stopped the Igbos from uniting behind him even if OBJ could still have won?

PMB chose an Igbo running mate on three occasions and on each of those times, he didn't win in Igbo land. Perhaps, if the Igbos had supported him en-mass in one of those times, a president of Igbo extraction would have been achieved.

I'd like to be proved wrong though!

Igbos are smart and they have kept their own part of the bargain. If we had supported the above, the power equation would have been destroyed and it would have been against us since 2003.

We did not reject Ojukwu, we only played the politics of zoning and Ojukwu was not the best face for Nigeria's presidency, stemming from the fact that he led Biafra. If all igbos had voted for him, would you have voted for him too? No! So we could not risk it and being neglected in the country's political equation.

But this particular tribe are individualy domineering..go to any local government in Nigeria and they are present there, and they always have their domineering trait intrinsic in them...they will go anywhere and claim to be the owners of the environs,,they are the omo-Nile of Nigeria...

If you go to the east ,you discover that it is their very own leaders who they voted that are guilty of under developing their lands but they start accusing buhari...

Igbo will never be a president of Nigeria until they stop been greedy, although we can't take the fact away from them that they are smart people,we have Philip emegwali there..but how can they want to separate from Nigeria because of no reason...

Igbo people under ojokwu were brutally and murderously massacred because of ojokwu stubborn head, they even started resulting to cannibalism...

When will they learn
I wonder how a small boy like you will leave romance section to comment where your elders are deliberating national issues.

We will not wait on God. we better start hyping a prospective VP and wooing a marketable presidential material in the NOrth. Even at that, there is no assurance in anything, we just have to put in our best an move on with whatever result

You might call your stand a realist stand but the truth is, it is a defeatist stand.

The perfect power play is that, we shouldn't be close to power at all. Let us just sign a bargain with them and let us get the right policies. That's all.

What you said is not peculiar to igbos alone, the country is in economic mess and there is no way igbos will be immune to it, i even think igbos are the least affected

This line of thought is very unhealthy. The Igbo mind is wired differently from other tribes. when they don't have, they look for ways to get whatever they want. The painful part is that Igbo men and women do not have boundaries, they keep going until they find anything (good or bad) to do. More so, we are a people of close to 50million people, and its not just another tribe. You can keep Igbo's down politically but very dangerous keeping Igbo's down economically. They will sure want to break out.

These men should as a matter of urgency act like serious people for once. Let them start doing things like people who want to achieve things in this life. There are so many channels of raising billions of naira to develop the region and they want me to help them look into it.

These people are not serious
Politics / Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by realhumanity: 12:54pm On Mar 05, 2017
Our people are out there dying in their numbers while some are been displaced. They have converted to survival mode. You will see a common trader has dumped trading to push drugs. You are recently seeing the advent of ritual killing coming up these days in our region. These vices were dead during the early parts of 2000, now they are coming back.

Igbo's are on a high testosterone level now. They are thinking of doing anything to survive. Quite a huge number of them are doing things they have not been doing before. We have do something about the southeast economy. Let's create a working economy in the east so that we can protect and secure our future. We can comfortably face our fears once and for all.

What happened to Geometric that would has solved power problems in Aba long ago?? Abuja can do and undo any region anytime with the present structure, we must work hard to be at peace with abuja before any of these can work. We should stop dreaming of economic power without political power. Igbo presidency for now is not feasible, the best bet is an igbo friendly presidency probably with igbo VP

If we are ready to develop as a region, we will not embark on it like foolish people. We will embark on it like smart minds. We are losing grounds and we cannot wait for God to give us Igbo friendly president.

Make peace with the president and when it comes to the next election, carefully study the best candidate that has a shot at the big seat, give him 3million votes and 500million and see him look the other way towards your drive. Why so strict when it comes to doing things?

You better understand nigeria n politics, even with 1 trillion dollars you can't put one block on any federal controlled facility if they don't want it. The first step is to install an igbo friendly presidency, not necessarily an igbo president. Only then can you talk of these things

Why is it difficult for you all to lobby? Why are you making it difficult to see things in the light of hate and love? You can achieve anything by finding the best possible ways of solving it.

Why can't the Igbo's partner with Chinese companies and front them to place it on the table of the federal government. We have soft spot for the whites, right?

I now believe that Igbo's have finally accepted the tag, second class citizens in this country. They have lost so much ground that they cannot even stand on their own but holding on either the south south or the north to have a sense of belonging.

The N500billion naira you guys are yapping about should be directed towards buying the ibaka seaport from Akwa ibom and creating a rail transport around the entire southeast. This will make our businesses grow faster and get better returns on business. Imagine a purely commodity port which will serve the entire southeast, south south and many parts of north central being under the control of Igbo men. it will shoot the region up and every exporting commodity will not pass through the bureaucratic bottleneck in Lagos.

The time to change thinking is now and we should start pushing.
